This will be your new favorite spot in CB. Over 1,900 sq ft at this Private beach front stone home with private dock for fishing & crabbing. Spacious 3 beds 2 bath with large living room. Owner suite has a king bed, guest room with queen bed & 3rd room with bunkbeds (full bed over two twins) Pull out bed in living room sofa. 2 Outdoor patios & Screened porch steps to the water to enjoy the sunrise & water views. Walk to restaurants or rent the golf cart to drive around town.

Great for a quick weekend get away; beautiful sunrises!

Came from Loudoun County, just 2 hours away, and it was a really easy drive. The house was so gorgeous and the waterfront views are beautiful. Sunrises were spectacular. We were here in January, hope to come back during warmer weather months.

We had a fantastic experience. The owner was amazing, super helpful, and very accommodating. And the property is gorgeous, and has just the right mix of space and comfort. We would recommend this property 100 times over!

Thanksgiving on the Potomac 2022

Great place to gather for a family holiday. Super views, walking, easy access to the amenities of the small town in the off season. Really relaxing. The home was as pictured and expected. Nice one level lay-out with good furnishings making for a comfortable experience for everyone.

Sunrise!!

Great place right on the water. Don’t even need to go outside to experience awesome sunrises. But if you do there’s a huge new dock. House is bright and cheery—great kitchen and lounging area. Plenty of space for several people!! Host made stay pleasant with check in quick and smooth!!

We stayed with another family and had enough room for alone time as well time together. House was very clean upon arrival. If you want to be next to the water and not have a-lot of hustle and bustle of others this is the place to be.

Gorgeous Home!

This is a gorgeous house with amazing views! The house had lits of room and everything I needed for my weekend stay. The views of the river and sunrise from the living room, deck and screened in proch are breathtaking! The beach comes right up to the back steps and there is a private pier just steps away. The host was wonderful to work with as well. I am already planning my next trip!!

This place is amazing!

Had such a great time here! If you're looking for a quiet peaceful place to visit this is it! Right on the river! House was super clean and beautiful! Host was helpful and easy to get ahold of! Dock and beach just steps from the porch! Great little town in walking distance. Beautiful sunrises! Can't wait to book it again! The house is very comfortable and has pretty much everything you need! Think I found my new yearly destination!

Great Home

The property is stunning. The views, dock, furniture and appliances were all 5/5. Beds were reasonably comfortable. And the couch was very big and great to relax on. The town is sleepy during the week; however that is what we were looking for…rest and recovery. We only stayed Mon- Fri, came home Saturday so we got to experience Friday night in the town and it was very lively and fun.

River Beach House

Other than the rain we had a great time in Colonial Beach. This stone house was beautiful, well stocked and right on the beach. Finally got to see the fantastic sun rise on the last day due to the rain the first three days. Had to wear sunglasses in the house. Using the golf cart is the way to get around town. Son & grandchildren braved out one afternoon for fishing & crabbing on the pier right outside the front door. We would love to stay there again in July.

Unforgettable views!

The online pics do not do this property justice! The sunrise will be one you will never forget. When inside the home you feel like you are on a houseboat. It feels like you are on the water, only a few feet from the back door your feet will be in the sand/water. Very convenient, within walking distance, to food and shops. I would highly suggest booking this property. Host was responsive and I felt confident if there had been an issue it would have been addressed in a timely manner. We will definitely be going back.

Fantastic spot!

What an amazing place! We were looking for a quick family getaway while my kids were on their spring break but I had to work. This place was perfect! It’s close enough to the DC suburbs that it’s easy to get to, but it’s so “beachy” (especially with all the golf carts zipping around!) that it felt like we really went far away. The wifi at the house is great and allowed me to work (I did plenty of video calls with no issues), but having the private beach right outside our door meant the kids could readily play and my husband and I could easily keep an eye on them. The view of the water while I worked was so lovely. The kids loved playing in and around the water. It’s a mix of some sand and small gravel, but they still made piles and paddled around and had a great time. They are already asking to come back next year and I hope we can do just that!

Family vacation

The location and view of the house is wonderful. Waking up to the water being right outside your door was nice and the sunrises were really beautiful. Our boys had a really fun time fishing off the dock and have their own beach area. The house had new furniture and appliances and fit our needs.
