・Bath1: Shared, tub/shower combo
・Bath2: In Master, shower.
・Laundry: washer/dryer, iron & ironing board
・Living Rm: Loveseat, TV, supersize beanbag for 2, chairs, french doors to deck

At the entrance to Remarkable Mojito Grande, you’ll be greeted by our comfortable outdoor seating area, with a large offset umbrella, set amongst palm trees and plants. The nearby hammock calls to you to try it out, perfect for those lazy time naps. Continuing to the front deck, framed by billowy curtains, there is a 4-seat cafe table for dining al-fresco and a hanging egg chair, perfect for reading in the gulf breezes. Two sets of French doors provide easy access.
Note: Remarkable Mojito Grande is non-smoking property.

The private beach access gate is 1 block west, only 160 steps. Gate code and access instructions will be in the digital guidebook.
When security guards are present, proof of occupancy is required. They are very strict, so we make it easy by sending you a special copy of your receipt, with the specific information they want, just before your arrival so you will have it handy.
On the beach. you have access to the area South of the Erosion Control Line (plainly marked).
If you prefer, beach services (chairs, umbrellas, wave runners, etc) can be arranged with the licensed vendor at fees they set. Their contact info is in the digital guidebook.

Walk to many places!
Alvin's Island is 2 blocks west; Pompano Joe's (fresh Gulf-caught seafood & beach bar) is just beyond; 2 blocks east is Emerald Coast Wine Cellars, Bad Ass Coffee, Dairy Queen, and an Italian eatery, Pascalli Kitchen (try their homemade pizza rolls)! Also walkable to Whale Tale and Beach Bar!
Drive to nearby Winn Dixie for groceries (and adult beverages), Chick-Fil-A, Surf Hut Restaurant, Li's Chines Restaurant, Austons On 98, CVS, and the Silver Sands Outlets in 4-7 minutes. Easy access to Holiday Rd, a quick route to US98W, the area's main highway and the path to the Destin Commons shopping area, Henderson State Park, Walmart, Target, the Harbor area, and all else that Destin offers!

We provide a good number of consumables to start your stay, but they are not intended to cover an entire stay.

We try to stock kitchen essentials (foil, plastic wrap, salt/pepper, basic spices, etc.). But we ask guests to replace what they use of these. Our team tries, but it is just not possible to inventory them after every stay. If we have not been told that something has run out, you may not find it.

A refundable security deposit of $300.00 is required by placing a hold on the credit card provided.

Once reserved here, we will send a confirmation message with a link to our secure website and instructions to finalize your booking within 24 hours, or the reservation may be canceled.
The Renter of record must:

・provide credit card for the security deposit;
・be present during entire stay;
・upload a valid government-issued ID;
・sign our rental agreement; and,
・provide names & ages of the entire party.
When completed, we will provide check-in information 2 days prior to your scheduled arrival by message and in our digital guidebook.

We are unable to accommodate luggage drop-off, early arrivals, or late checkouts.

We STRONGLY recommend Travel Insurance, especially if there is a chance of cancellation due to health, work, government policies, weather, or other reasons. Coverage is available during booking or from other online sources.
— ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE COVERAGE —
Accidents happen and we don't want you to worry over simple things.
・We cover accidental damage up to $500 - no cost to you.
・This "no-hassle" coverage protects against damage like broken dishes, damaged furniture or fixtures, etc.
・Damage must be reported *during* the stay to be eligible.
・Photos are required - please do not dispose of the broken item unless specifically instructed.
The coverage does not include:
・bedding & linens
・intentional damage
・missing items
・unreported damage found after departure
・shipping, rush fees, additional cleaning, or off-hours labor costs.
With any of these incidents, they will be charged to the security deposit first, then to the card on file.

— TOP RULES —
We've been hosts for years; hosting thousands of happy guests, and we want to set expectations so all guests can enjoy the property. These are:
・Pets are prohibited, unless specifically allowed in the listing. There is a pet fee and some simple rules.
・Guests who bring pets to no-pet listings will be asked to immediately vacate and will charged an allergen remediation fee that starts at $525. Total fee based on size of the property and degree of remediation required.
・Events/parties are not allowed and *will* result in immediate termination of access to the property without refund and forfeiture of the security deposit.
・No smoking/vaping is allowed. Remediation fees start at $525.
・Butts, smoking discards, bottle caps, and pop-tops on the grounds can be dangerous to others and will incur additional costs for cleanup.
・Only listed guests are permitted, not to exceed our maximum occupancy.
・Drugs or illegal activities are not welcome and will be reported.
・No third-party bookings.
・No glass near hot tubs or pools.
・Quiet time is 10pm-8am.

Our properties have approved noise monitors that measure audio levels, without recording audio. If levels exceed local regulations, you will be notified about it. Should unacceptable levels continue, you will be asked to vacate the premises without refunds.
There are actively recording video cameras, some with audio, covering exterior portions of the property. There are absolutely *NO* interior views, nor any views of pool/hot tub areas.

MOJITO GRANDE was such a unique home in a great community, we recognized it as a diamond in the rough. With some elbow grease and effort, we turned it into a cozy beach cottage reminiscent of one from a long stay in the Dominican Republic many years ago.

Being so close to the beach means no worries with loading up the car, driving to it, searching for parking, then repeating the whole process when leaving.
Want to go to the beach? Just walk out of MOJITO GRANDE's front door and take a 2 minute stroll to the end of the block and another 1 minute to the access point and you are there! MOJITO GRANDE is only 200 steps from the sand!
