Frente a la playa abierta y aireada casa de playa. Disfrute de nuestra ubicación frente a la playa cerca de 16 millas por carretera y la ciudad de Jamaica Beach. La mitad del tiempo a las casas de Strand y luego Pointe West! Otra gran característica de esta casa es la pequeña tienda de comestibles directamente detrás de la casa. A los niños les encanta caminar para tomar helado todos los días.

El balcón en el frente de nuestra casa es muy grande y está cubierto. Sun or Shade elige tu opción. Hay un columpio en el área cubierta inferior para disfrutar de la hermosa vista del océano. Los niños pueden jugar junto al agua sin preocuparse de que los automóviles pasen, no se permiten automóviles en esta área de la playa. La belleza del amanecer y las olas son indescriptibles. FRENTE A LA PLAYA es la única forma de hacerlo, así que ven y date un capricho a ti y a tu familia.

This was our 3rd stay at this beautiful property and like always it was a delight. It’s truly feels like a home away from home and it’s hard to beat cooking with a view of the ocean in a kitchen well stocked for all cooking needs! I can’t recommend this place enough. Look forward to staying again in the future!

This was our second time staying here. Location is great and had all of the accommodations needed. Only concern was the cleanliness of the bathroom. Will definitely plan to stay again.

My family and I recently stayed at this beach house for our vacation, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The location is undeniably the star of the show—with a convenient walking path for direct beach access. The covered porch was another highlight, offering stunning views of the coastline, and the frequent pelican flyovers were a family favorite. The house is also within walking distance of a gas station and a small grocery market, which was also very convenient. The house itself, while comfortable enough and functional for our needs, could use some TLC. The biggest downside was the pest situation. Ants and roaches were a persistent issue, both inside and outside the house. We found ants in the queen-sized bed while trying to sleep and pretty much everywhere else—on the floors, rugs, bathrooms, kitchen, and more. The house didn’t provide laundry detergent for the washing machine, so we had to purchase our own. The same went for basic toiletries like shampoo, which wasn’t a big deal but is worth noting for future guests to come prepared. The check-in process was easy, though I had to proactively request the details from the host on the day of arrival. With some updates and better maintenance, this could be a 10/10 rental.

Location, location, location!

The location as absolutely perfect! The house is away from the business of Galveston. The inside of the house is cute and the perfect size for two people (although there is certainly room for more). The outside of the house needs some work, but nothing enough to interfere with our stay. The furniture in the living room is different than the picture, but it’s an upgrade. It was a Wonderful way to spend our 35th anniversary.

Hidden treasure

This place is incredible. Furniture is updated and the recliners are so relaxing. You are literally steps from the beach front property. Our kids could play on the beach while we watched from the balcony because it’s that close. No cars allowed on this part of the beach which felt more safe with our kids. There’s a grocery store you can walk to with very fair prices. Outside of the perfect location- The place itself Was super clean. Very comfortable beds. One room with a queen and twin. Master with a king. And bunk twins next to the master. We felt so at home and loved our stay. Don’t pass this place up!

Best view!

Best view, beach at your feet! Watched sunrise from the deck each morning and the waves roll all day! House could use an instruction book, couldn’t get TV to work in main bedroom. Pics online are not detailed, the place is roomy and has lots of beds baths. Kitchen could use some pest control, but it’s on the beach so some bugs are expected. Great location!

Beach Vacation

House Keeping was still cleaning when we arrived. Great location right on the beach! We had 3 large palmetto bugs come flying around us early one morning, in the living room and kitchen, when we were planning to go fishing. One was on the ceiling, one was on the kitchen counter and the other was on the couch. After that, we left the lights on in the kitchen and living room all night! AC for the upstairs wasn't working to cool the entire second floor for the second half of our stay. Unfortunately, we had extended our stay to have an extra weekend, but since the AC wasn't cooling, we left a day early and I wished we had left the extra weekend off. The vents desperately needed cleaning as well as the air filters needing to be replaced. I cleaned the oscillating fan that was in the living room, which had 1/4" of dust on the blades. Most beach houses have shared beach toys, as well as water hoses upstairs and downstairs to rinse off items prior to going in the house, but this one did not.

Perfect for Family Fun!

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! We traveled with a special needs child, dogs, and two other children. The check-in process was simple and seamless, the property was sparkling clean, and the online description was accurate. The location of the property is a bonus. An easy walk to the nearby gas station/grocery store, a short drive into Galveston proper, and directly on the beach! The home is well stocked with supplies and it was convenient to grill on our first night there. My youngest son saw his first sunrise from the beach directly in front of the house, and our morning coffee tasted even better while we sipped it on the covered deck while watching the waves. Definitely would love to stay again in the future!

Cozy, comfortable, beach living at its best

The host was easy to get ahold of and polite. The property itself was well equipped, cozy, and the view was unbeatable. We were able to cook every night of our stay and enjoy being able to eat with a view of the ocean. The easy access to the beach was a big plus we loved being able to walk down to the beach multiple times a day as we pleased instead of having to just set up and stay out all day. The furniture was pretty and comfortable and the beds were very comfortable. Overall we enjoyed every minute of our stay and we would definitely stay again in the future.

Last minute trip

We booked a last minute trip over the Thanksgiving holiday and were lucky to get a spot at Gulf Palms. The owner was gracious and we loved the property! Would recommend to a friend.
