Perfect for anyone looking to visit the Corpus Christi downtown area, Lexington, Texas State Aquarium, attend a local festival or concert. High chair & baby gate provided for your convenience. Relax and enjoy the Sparkling City by the Bay. From the moment you arrive, you may feel as if you’ve traveled back to the 60s and 70s. It has often been said that our home reminds them of their grandparent’s or favorite relatives home. Step inside and stretch out in a cozy, serene space designed to help you rest, reset, and enjoy your stay. Private parking for up to three vehicles is available. The use of a one car garage is also allowed. A large backyard is ready for you to sit back and enjoy the evening after a long day exploring Corpus Christi. Whether you’re traveling solo, with family, with friends or here on a work assignment, this home flexes to fit your needs.

It was a lot like staying at Grandma’s house: spacious but dated decor from the 60’s, comfortable and homey. We loved having a fenced yard for our dog and not having to pack beach towels.

This property is situated within 20-30 minute drive. Excellent for us. The house was clean and well stocked. Everything worked as it should. Owner let us check in early, which was a bonus. Neighborhood is quiet and clean. Overall a very nice VRBO. I will definitely mark this a favorite when I have a long stay planned for our next trip to Corpus Christi.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The house is cozy and the neighborhood is quiet. The host was very responsive as well. Definitely recommend.

I loved this pet friendly home. It was a nice place to stay that was conveniently located for all the activities we had planned for graduation. All places we wanted to go were only 15 minutes away. My only complaint (which is pretty small and not worth losing stars) is there was no flat ware. Plenty of cooking utensils and things but no forks or spoons. Overall it was wonderful and I would rebook for sure!!From my we liked it here. Plenty of room to run and we liked that our play spot outside was well lit. Our mom could always see us.

We are very happy to see that your enjoyed your stay. The Utensils were on the counter next to the refrigerator. They were covered with a dish towel and that might be why they were overlooked. There was no washer to wash clothes, was very inconvenient. The twin beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

The house is a very comfortable, very livable trip back to the early 1960's. All the amenities needed for kitchen and bathroom use are provided. But take your own pillow for sleeping. Problems which were discovered were quickly resolved. The location is 10 minutes from anywhere in the city. If you want an alternative to a hotel, this is the place.

Wonderful location

The house is in a quiet neighborhood, has a large backyard which is great for a dog, and very comfortable to stay at. The owner was so kind and accommodating to work with our check-in and check-out schedule. Will stay here again!

Our stay was pleasant and relaxing. The house had enough space for everyone to relax in after our long day and the neighborhood was very quiet. We couldn’t have picked a better location. We were close to restaurants and 7 min away from HEB. Our host was very responsive when we had an issue connecting to the WiFi but it was quickly resolved. We will definitely be returning.

We are both from Corpus Christi, met at Ray High School and are going on over 42 years of married life. We like going to the beach & having beach bonfires. We still keep in touch with some of our closest high school friends & even plan yearly vacations with them.
We enjoy hosting & making your vacations as comfortable as possible.

This neighborhood is actually my husband’s area where he grew up. In fact, we bought this house from the parents of a close high school friend, the Garcia’s.
The Garcia’s took excellent care of the home. The home was built in 1958 & it still has the original oven, and stove. All are still in good working order!
This home has plenty of quiet space to relax and enjoy your vacation in Corpus Christi Texas. The location is also a plus. It’s only a short drive to just about everything you need to have a great time.

When you enter this home, you recall a unique moment in time when there was no color televisions, internet & a quarter would get you a lot of candy at the store. Prices were lower, but so were salaries.
