(Comfortably sleeps a party of 2. We allow up to 3 guests. If you have a party of 4, please ask permission in advance. The sofa bed is more suitable for children than adults.)

This top floor "get away" vacation home offers stunning oceanfront views and tropical breezes. This is one of the best beachfront spots in Kapa'a on private Waipouli Beach situated on the majestic Coconut Coast of Kaua'i. This studio has everything you'll need for a perfect Garden Isle vacation. Located at the popular Islander on the Beach Resort with an oceanfront swimming pool, hot tub and Tiki Hut bar, discover for yourself all the fun things to see and do walking distance away. This resort is next door to an open air restaurant and bar, "Lava Lava" featuring live music nightly, great food and specialty cocktails.There are many more shops and restaurants at the Coconut Marketplace just steps away on the other side of the parking lot. Islander also fronts a beach path for walking/running/cycling that goes for miles!

Unit 323 is third floor (Top Floor) DIRECT oceanfront and is one of two units in the entire complex that is on the outside corner of one of the two oceanfront buildings. Since it is on the corner, it has an extra window that allows more light and provides another view of the ocean within the unit. The balcony sits right over the ocean (or at least feels that way).

The ideal spot for couples, friends and solo travelers alike, you will love this beachfront Hawaiian paradise. Spend the evening outdoors on the lanai, at the poolside BBQs or the Tiki Hut Bar as you watch the sky change colors and the palms sway in the famous trade winds. Enjoy the tropical plantation ambiance we offer.

Unit 323 includes: Wifi, flat screen cable TV; high efficiency Fujitsu air conditioner (A/C); coffee maker; mini fridge (there are ice machines on property); microwave; cutlery, serving ware and utensils; electric hair dryer, iron, and ironing board.

Many guests return year after year for Unit 323's breathtaking views and quick walk to the beach. Enjoy its unique features, tropical ambiance, and the warm aloha spirit. Spend your days exploring Kaua'i, savor local dining or a lu'au, then unwind each night to the soothing sound of the ocean.

Free parking for our guests but there are no elevators on the property. This condo complex is centrally located to many popular island destinations. By car, it's approximately 12 minutes to Lihue airport, 50 minutes to Hanalei and 45 minutes to Poipu. Kaua'i, the Garden Isle, has so many beautiful sights to take in and Kapa'a is a great starting point to them all.

Important: We are not part of the hotel reservation system, there is no daily room service. You do have use of the common grounds, free parking as our guest, pool, hot tub, and pool bar. This is a privately owned studio that rents for less if you are looking to save money. The unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and stocked with start-up supplies. The studio is cleaned again upon check-out time. If you need new supplies, linens, towels, bed remade and additional spruce up clean, we do offer this additional service for a $70 fee per scheduled day. Please ask if you are interested in this service. If you need to do laundry there are Laundromats only a six to seven minute drive from the property.

Other Important Notes:
* Non-smoking in the condo, including lanai and hallways. A $500 fine + damage costs if violated. A designated outdoor smoking area is available.
* A $25 fee applies if more than 2 garbage bags are left behind. Additional cleaning or damage beyond normal wear and tear may result in extra charges.
* A $200 fee will be charged for the replacement of a lost key.
* Unauthorized early check-in or late check-out may incur an additional night's charge.

Cancellation Policy:

* All cancellations must be submitted in writing or via email and must be processed through the same platform where the reservation was made.
* We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes to your travel plans.

Super easy check in and the host is very responsive. The views at this place are superb and just steps to the beach! The property is absolutely beautifully maintained and feels like walking through a tropical rainforest. SO much to do in easy walking distance and is centrally located for exploring the whole island. This was our first time here, but it won't be our last!

What a view!

This condo was everything you need for a stay in Kauai. Great location and amenities. Could use a few extra towels if you are staying more than a few days.

Watch the sun come up over the ocean while listening to the waves

we loved being so close to the beach, however the water is a bit roily and there is coral just off the shore. it was quiet and peaceful. though we had everything we needed, the studio really is small, and on the third floor, without an elevator. The landscaping was absolutely beautiful. Would definitely return!

Needs some care

The unit is showing its age. The toilet continuedly runs and wastes water unless I lifted the lid and fixed things. The sliding door is difficult to use and the screen door does not lock.

Per our check-in emails and text messages, we do ask guests to notify us as soon as possible of anything that needs replacement or issues that present themselves during their stay. We would have sent someone over right away to assist you had we known. Since we've received your review we've had our handyman work on the issues you reported to resolve them, mahalo!

Fantastic ocean view

Pros: Outstanding ocean and beach view from the back porch and out the sliding glass doors of the unit. Top floor corner beach front unit is as good as it gets in the complex. Complex landscaping and unit spacing were nice and had a botanical garden feel. It was very handy to be right on the walking/bike path along the beach that runs up and down the coast. The short walk to Coconut Marketplace offered shopping, restaurants, grocery, shave ice, coffee and more just one minute away. Air conditioning was a big plus. Nice sand beach just feet away.Cons: No elevators if that matters. Unit and furniture was very dated and worn. Bed was old, not comfortable and squeaked loudly with every movement. No laundry on premises, although we did find a laundromat a couple of miles away. Parking was an issue, even though we had a permit. The overflow from nearby restaurants and Coconut Marketplace filled the lot and we had to park some distance away along the road and walk several times. There did not appear to be any permit enforcement to assure parking for residents. There needs to be better lighting on the stairs. The light on the front of the condo does not light the stairwell and it is really hard to see the steps in the shadows after dark. Be prepared to be awakened at 4 am daily by courtyard roosters.Overall, the location and view trump the cons. It seems a bit pricey for what you get with the space given the condition. It is basically an old hotel room converted to a rental.

We do want to iterate that we are managing a privately owned unit within the Aston Islander complex, so we are not responsible for overall property maintenance or any aspects outside the unit itself, such as the lighting on the stairs or parking enforcement. We understand that the lighting on the stairs can be a concern, and we will pass this feedback along to the Aston Islander team for review. Similarly, we recognize that parking can sometimes be tricky, especially with the nearby businesses and events. Regarding the condition of the unit, we appreciate your input on the furniture and the bed. We're constantly working with the owner to make improvements, and your comments help us identify areas for future upgrades. We do hope that the location and views made up for some of these inconveniences, and we would love to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future!
