Cozy Lakefront Cottage on Little York Lake

Quiet lake getaway and only 15 minutes to SUNY Cortland and 30 min to Syracuse University with easy access to I81! Song Mountain is 10 minutes up the road and Greek Peak is only 25 minutes away! The cottage sleeps 4 with a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa. Whether you are looking for a quiet getaway or need a place to rest while visiting the area, Lily Pad offers it all!

The space is perfect for a romantic getaway or a family vacation for a small family. There are a variety of books and games to pass the time on a rainy day as well as a 75" smart TV where you can access Netflix as well as other apps.

The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans and utensils as well as an extensive spice rack. There is also an instant pot, toaster, microwave, coffee maker air fryer and food processor. There is an island with two stools and a large picture window overlooking the lake.

There is a king bed in the bedroom with a large dresser and closet. The living room couch folds out into a queen bed.

Tie up your boat to the private dock. Enjoy BBQ'ing lakeside on the gas grill and take in the evening sunsets on the large, shaded deck! Explore the lake with the two kayaks provided. Unwind in front of the lakeside fire pit. In the winter, cozy up in front of the gas fireplace.

Although a lake front home is thought of as a summer destination, this cottage is the perfect getaway year-round. Enjoy the fall foliage, apple orchards, local wine tours, great hiking or downhill skiing. Just minutes from SUNY Cortland, this the perfect spot for parents weekend or orientation or move-in weekend!

We had another great stay here. In the area for my son’s baseball tournament. Great place for a family. Everything you need. Great water access to fish and kayak. Likely to be back again.

This cottage was perfect for my husband and I. This is a quaint and cozy cottage in a great location on the lake! The Exchange Restaurant has amazing food and really close by the cottage. I will definitely be back to stay at this beautiful cottage on the lake!

Lovely Lake Cottage

Even with rainy weather, the lake was beautiful and the cottage was spotless. Close to Homer and Cortland for a fun filled baseball weekend. Noticed several other baseball families staying in the area. Thank you for the memories.

Cute cabin on the water

The cabin is adorable and was very clean. Lots of extras in the kitchen. Fu beauty decor. Bed was very comfy. The lake was beautiful and the furniture outside made enjoying it great. The floor is very uneven under the new laminate. So its a little rocky when you walk around. Just so you are aware. The bathroom is older but very clean. The neighborhood was a little more run-down than we expected, but no one bothered us. The cabin was definitely the cutest in the area. The owners have gone to alot of work and expense to make it welcoming.

Long Weekend in Cortland Area

Great on water property. We stayed for a baseball tournament at the Lumberyard. Were able to relax on the lake between games. Enjoyed the kayaking and fishing. Property was as described and truly had everything we needed. Would stay again.

Cozy place right on the lake

We had a great time fishing from the doc, using the kayaks, swimming in the lake, and using the fire pit. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was functional. The owner was quick to respond with any questions we had. If we come back this way this will rental will be at the top of our list. There is enough parking for three vehicles and there are so many options of other things to do within 30 minutes. If you like good beer and AMAZING food, check out Aurora Brewing Company during your stay as well as Long Point State Park.

Lovely little cottage

We chose Lily Pad cottage as our base for the eclipse weekend. It had everything we needed plus some. Had it been warmer, I’m sure we would have enjoyed kayaking on Little York Lake with the kayaks provided. All in all, 10 out of 10!

Cute little Cottage

We loved our cute little cottage. My husband and I stayed overnight but we did enjoy inviting my twin sister and her family for a dinner on our birthday. The cottage had enough room for 3 cars and seated 6 so it was a perfect fit for us. It was close to the water and would have enjoyed the patio porch and kayaks if the weather would have been better. The owner was very cooperative and helpful.

Idyllic

This idyllic setting offered me the quiet space to think after busy days spent at a conference in Syracuse. My favorite was when I was sitting in the living space, with the fireplace burning as a blue heron flew past.

Vacation

Overall very pleasant .. only a couple of things that need attention. The shower needs all tile to be renewed and caulked .. tub was slippery .. could have fallen.. install grab bars and non slip bath mat would solve this potential accident issue. The host was pleasant and accommodating! The internet was on and off.. this was not the fault of the host. The host sympathized and made calls into Comcast in hopes of fixing.

College Drop-Off

Fantastic place to stay and enjoy peace and quiet on the lake before dropping off our son at Suny Cortland. Great amenities and near town of Homer with good restaurants and ice cream! Definitely will be back!
