Overall a very nice place to stay. Some stains on the carpet that could use shampooing. Would suggest more towels, especially kitchen towels as well as a large pot for cooking spaghetti/corn on the cob. Did not use hot tub. There was some sand and a few leaves in it. However, I would stay here again. The view is beautiful and the bed was very comfortable.

A beautiful location with a cottage that is begining to show its age. Sliding door to the outside was very difficult to open, one window with a broken crank, lights that didn't work, Adirondack chairs that could not be adjusted and then were uncomfortable, privacy curtains around the hot tub were shredded and holey not to mention the rotting hot tub cover. But the view is fantastic, the kitchen while small is quite efficient, the fire pit is wonderful, it was great to have a propane grill, the bed very comfy and overall we had a good stay.

The house was very clean. The hot tub was wonderful. The cleanest one we have ever used while staying at a rental. The host was very attentive to our needs and questions before and during our stay and provided us with supplies we needed! The views were beautiful and gorgeous sunsets. You could hear the waves from the house and see the lake from the bed which was restful. We found great restaurants in Wilson and Lockport.

A nice house in a beautiful location - what a great getaway! The only drawback is the noise from East Lake Road can be a bit much at times. That said, we'll still be back :)

Great cottage for two

I stayed here while visiting family with my sister. Very clean and suited our needs well. The hot tub was a nice added bonus. The only thing I would suggest is more lighting in the living spaces as it is hard to read at night. Thank you!

What a view of Lake Ontario!

While the house itself is very cozy and comfortable, you are going to want to spend your time in the backyard which overlooks Lake Ontario. What an amazing view! We enjoyed watching the waves and sunsets by the fire pit, grilling out, and playing with our dog (we had to leave before trying out the hot tub). Great for a relaxing getaway and a half hour from Niagara Falls - highly recommend!

Peaceful

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The house was nice, but the location was great! It was about 40 minutes from Niagara Falls but the best part was Olcott Beach which was about a 2 minute drive. We met the nicest people and will definitely be back.

Amazing, Beautiful and perfect to press your reset button.

My lady and I stayed at this beautiful home. The house is soo cozy with stunning veiws out every window of Lake Ontario. The backyard was amazing. It has a fire pit over looking the lake from it's cliffside. We were 40 min from Niagara falls and walking distance to a lovely town full of local spirit. If you want to enjoy Niagara and get away from the tourist trap. This secluded gem is where you should stay. We got best of both worlds, we had a storm roll in the first night and watched a storm out the windows and it was lovely. The second night we sipped wine and watched the alburn sunset from the hot tub and lawn chairs at the fire pit. I would 100% come back to this house in the future. Perfect fit!

Beautiful view, cottage and property

My husband, dog and I really enjoyed our stay. Everything exactly as advertised and more. Beautiful and calming view on the lake! All communication with host Emilee was above and beyond helpful and informative. Would definitely stay again!

Everything we wanted

Great location with such a wonderful view. We spent almost all our time in the backyard just soaking in the relaxation. Very private and an added bonus of washer and dryer which we needed.
