You will fall in love with our 1930's farmhouse style home close to historic downtown Hendersonville'. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the large front porch getting your day started. Then venture out to for a full day of hiking, biking or kayaking in the beautiful Pisgah National Forest, Dupont State Forest, and the Great Smokey Mountains. Wind down with a visit to Hendersonville's welcoming shops, coffee houses, breweries, wineries, restaurants, and family friendly activities.
Get cozy in the living room to watch a movie, play a game, read or just visit. You can cook a yummy snack or meal in the fully well-equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms are on the main floor with a bath in between. A unique loft type bedroom is upstairs with two twin beds and a desk overlooking a large backyard.

The house had every possible convenience and the host was very welcoming. The only negative was busy traffic on both roads running along the sides of the house.

Location of the property is perfect to walk into town if you like. It's in a nice neighborhood that is quiet. The house is clean, the kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfortable. I would stay again.

We stayed in this lovely home earlier this year and enjoyed our visit so much, we had to make a return trip.The house is clean and welcoming, the hosts are friendly and helpful, the neighborhood is walkable, there is a fantastic brewery within a short distance, and a great walking / running / biking trail. And if you are a gardener, this place will knock your socks off.

I cannot express how charming and beautiful this home is. Everything you need is there, checking in and out is simple, the beds are comfortable, the location is perfect, immaculately clean, etc. I could go on and on. Our family felt right at home and were sad to leave. We will stay again!

We had a wonderful week at this property in Hendersonville. The home is lovely and in fantastic condition. Nancy and Al were awesome to connect with and they are very close by if we had needs anything. The location is very convenient as there is a brewery and local grocery/ cafe in easy walking distance, and downtown and other local interests are a short drive. The garden and landscaping were phenomenal. Our kids were at camp for the week, but we spent a couple of days as a whole family and the house was plenty for our family of 5, plus dogs. After dropping the kids off at camp, my wife and I worked remotely. It was a really nice 'staycation' type of trip. We will definitely be back to this property and we really love the Hendersonville area. Plenty of food and beverage options nearby, plus nice hiking areas a short drive away.

Family Trip

We had a great time at this cute house. It was very clean and there were a lot of little extras. The gardens are amazing and there were fresh cut flowers throughout the house.

Hendersonville jewel cottage!

The house was very well appointed and clean, appreciated the nice linens and sheets. Kitchen had everything you would need. Also thankful for coffee and teas that were provided, nice touch! Back patio was awesome, ate a door dash breakfast out there! Floors are a little “wonky “ but the amenities certainly made up for it. Would recommend!

Charming and cozy

It was just the two of us staying here and we were very comfortable. I did not do a lot of cooking here as it was Christmas and went to my brothers house for all our meals. He was only a mile and a half away. So on this trip it was location location. I will gladly stay here again the next time I visit

Home base for mountain getaway

We stayed at this property as a home base for exploring the surrounding mountains and state parks. It is an excellent location for exploring much of what western North Carolina has to offer. The home was very clean, cozy and well appointed. The grounds/gardens were beautiful. The location was close to various amenities so it was easy to pick up dinner after a long day of hiking. The host was very friendly and communication was outstanding. Highly recommend this property.

As Advertised

Great little place far enough away but close enough to enjoy the area. Symme's Chappel, Dupont Forrest, Pisgah Forrest are all fairly close. Ashville isn't far away. Very Clean. Amazing Garden. Host is very responsive. We inquired about a small ladder to help us load/unload our car top carrier from our van and she was there within minutes to provide one. Would definately recommned and return.

Happy times

Very quaint cottage. Clean and comfortable. Fresh flowers in each room. Well supplied. Beautiful yard. Lots of flowers and shrubs Baby birds in shrub near house. Precious to see.

Quaint little Farmhouse

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary along with my birthday here! Upon arriving, we were greeted with fresh flowers in every room along with an anniversary card and a bottle of champagne. What a surprise. The house is quaint, pet friendly and has everything we needed, along with the most beautiful property and gardens. Was in love with all the Lavender plants and watching all the bees. Wishing we had stayed here the whole time during our 2 week trip. Nancy and Al could not have been nicer. We hated to leave. I can’t recommend this property enough. You’ll surely be missing out if you don’t stay here. Close to everything. Thank you again, Nancy and Al for everything. We will be back. Donna, Henry and Gabby

Amazing stay

We were in the area doing some wedding planning for my daughter’s upcoming wedding. Nancy and Al were attentive, responsive, and available if we needed anything. The house was well equipped with anything we may have needed. The yard and landscaping were beautiful. Everything was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay again when in the area in the future!

Farm house

Wonderful little farmhouse. The home was clean and neat. If you’re looking for a a convenient place to stay close to Hendersonville and a short drive to Asheville, this is the spot. Quiet neighborhood close to town! We enjoyed our stay there very much!

Wonderful visit

We had a wonderful visit! Everything was clean and we had everything we possibly needed. The house is in a great location, easy to get to multiple places. Nancy was extremely easy to communicate with an a very gracious host. We will be back!
