Affordable townhome at Purgatory - Awesome views - Steps to slopes

Our 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath (Unit 6) townhome is located in the Sitzmark Building at Purgatory Ski Resort and offers convenience in all seasons. This is a mountain retreat right at the base of one of Purgatory’s favorite runs, Lower Hades - just a minute walk from the condo. Ski down to the high-speed six pack in the morning, and ski back in the afternoon. In spring, summer and fall, mountain biking and hiking trails are just the other side of the front door. . This location cannot be beat, and it’s close to the skier base area, all of the restaurants and shops, and the primary amenities of the main skier village at Purgatory.

The townhome offers plenty of space with an open living room, vaulted ceilings, and a large deck with amazing views. Enjoy the beautiful mountain views from the large and sunny deck. This condo features parking for 2 vehicles, a washer and dryer, WIFI and a gas grill.

Master - Queen
2nd - Queen
3rd - Bunk Beds (Double over Double)

The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged & does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. For an additional (and optional) 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub & workout facility. When booking, just advise if you would like us to add the additional 4% resort fee.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

The townhome is not pet friendly.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

So enjoyed waking up to mountain view sunrises on the deck! Great place to start & end the day after adventures. Quiet, clean, comfortable. Excellent communication with management to answer questions when needed.

Short family 4x4 vacation

Nice property/location for our family. Only two concerns-soiled pillow and no bath mats/rugs. Tile floors in bathrooms were slippery when wet and didn’t seem right using nice white towels on the floor.

Great Lodge

Everything was great, except I will only complain about these small details. Some of the quilts on the couch were very dirty, the cooking pots need to be replaced since they are very old and sticky, and on the bathrooms I would add normal liquid hand soap and a bar soap for the shower.

Family spring break trip

Very nice property. Great size and well appointed for our family of five. The steps to the lift were a bit more difficult than the listing stated but this could have been due to the amount of snow! We couldn't use the table on the deck as it was broken. Again probably due to the weight of all the snow. Interesting setup with no door on the bathroom in the master but not a deal breaker. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a good stay. It is not the Ritz, but certainly a well kept place. When we booked, I was worried about the view (would there be one?), found out when sitting in the den area you have one of the best views of mountain range behind purg - took some family photos on deck. I would say the view is the best selling point of property. We were able to ski in and ski out. You do have a small walk up hill behind condo to get to the run, but it was nice. Wife thinks they should put a plank of hooks in hallway as you walk in, so that is our only suggestion to make place nicer. Overall 5 stars.

We at least thought it was going to be a lack luster experience. We were absolutely blown away! It beyond exceeded all of our expectations. The check in process was easy and once we opened that door we were thrilled. We’ve done a lot of extended stay or VRBO type rentals. This was by far the cleanest and best appointed. We will be loyal customers from this stay on out.

Great trip!

The condo couldn’t have been nicer. Was perfect for our 2 month old infant too! The resort had a pipe burst which left us without water for 2 days. The owners had water sent right away and gave us access to another condo to shower and get water. It wasn’t anyone’s fault about the water but obviously a huge inconvenience. We couldn’t thank them enough for still doing anything and everything to make us confortable. Would go back in a heart beat! The sauna was amazing too! We had troubles getting it to work but reached out and they got back to us right away and we were able to use it successfully!
