Cabaña simplemente encantadora

Encantadora casa de campo situada en una loma, rodeada de acres de tierras de cultivo tranquilas, con bosques y arroyos. Los porches orientados al este y al oeste dan vistas pastorales ininterrumpidas. La cabaña ha sido recientemente renovada, conservando su carácter original con pisos de madera en todas partes. En la planta baja incluye sala de estar, comedor, cocina, baño y dormitorio con cama queen size. Arriba hay dos habitaciones encantadoras debajo del alero. Una habitación tiene dos camas individuales y la otra una doble.

Esta es una situación ideal donde los padres pueden relajarse y los niños pueden explorar con seguridad.

The host, Theresa, was very welcome and willing to share the beauty of her property. The cabin's location is amazing and the overall property is extremely serene and cozy. The kitchen has everything you'd need and the living room was very comfortable, especially with the gas fireplace. Our daughter loved having the whole upstairs to herself. I understand why this is a 10/10 property with repeat visitors.

Perfect it’s always perfect. I love staying here host is exceptional goes out of her way to make it. Perfect I even had a hot water bottle in my bed when I turned it down. What a great touch!

The cottage is absolutely wonderful! The views from the front and back porch are beautiful. Being able to walk around the property allowed us time to decompress from the busy city life. The ponds, gardens and landscaping are truly beautiful and serene. The host, Theresa is such a wonderful person, always wanting to make sure we were happy and taken care of. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay with much peace and quiet.

We had a memorable week here, just relaxing and enjoying the weather and the scenic views. The cottage was incredibly comfortable and homey. The host decorated the dining room and bedroom with fresh flowers from the garden, and she made us homemade zucchini bread, with zucchini from the farm's vegetable garden. The kitchen was well appointed, and when I cooked, I found all the tools I needed. It was quiet and peaceful in the house at night, and the bed was super comfortable for a good night's sleep, The weather was perfect when we were there and we were outside all day, every day. The farm has a lovely hiking trail that takes you through a wooded areas, by ponds and over charming bridges with handrails woven together from tree branches like out of a fairytale. Our dogs loved the fenced yard and fresh air. In the mornings, they would go to the fence to see the cows, and the cows usually wanted to see them too! This is a great place to unplug and just let your mind and body rest. I recommend leaving the porch light off at night and doing some stargazing - it’s magical. The host was very gracious and kind, and responded quickly when we had questions. You won’t go wrong choosing this place for a peaceful getaway.

The views are amazing. It’s so peaceful and the house was very clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back again. My family loved it. Host was very kind and responsive to any questions we had.

My only true issues with this place was 1. I think they could dust a little better. There was dog hair all over the side table in the room I was staying in. 2. No wifi. I didn’t realize this until a few days before the trip. Luckily I had enough service to do what I needed to do. BUT the good far outweighed the bad at this property. We came up here for my son’s 5th birthday. It was a very beautiful property and house. It had the most beautiful flowers around the house and property, and a very nice vegetable garden. The trails were kept up with and easy to manage. Beautiful views. Host was very nice and quick to respond, & even brought us cake. And there was a lot to do in surrounding areas as well. This is by far the most peaceful vacation we’ve taken, and we will definitely be back!

Refreshing & Relaxing

This our third time to stay in the cottage and it never disappoints. The peace and quiet is just what we needed. Theresa and her assistants are kind and easy to communicate with. Will definitely be back!

The three of us stayed here to celebrate a friend's birthday weekend. We all had a wonderful time. The pond you can swim in is amazing. The hostess is super friendly and sweet. Their dogs and pet duck are lovely. The property beautiful and the views are stunning. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. I hope we get to come back again.

Perfect!!

This was my second day here at the cottage. First time was in the fall, and I fell in love with the place had to come back in the summer to see all the garden in bloom. I was a little worried that there was no AC but the nights are cool and there’s always a breeze. I was comfortable the whole time and I was there over the July 4 weekend. Enjoyed exploring the property, we got plenty of walking in finding the whimsical gates and bridges and even a tunnel. It is just so beautiful and peaceful. Perfect place to relax and reset.

Weekend Getaway

We had a very relaxing and wonderful time here. We especially enjoyed spotting butterflies, firefly’s, and lots of cows. There is plenty of hiking spots and beautiful scenery & sunsets/sunrises to enjoy.

It was fabulous. So nice and relaxing to have coffee on the porch and enjoy the cool mornings. To see the many deer walking around the property and coming up the road. Hearing the cows in the fields. The owner has a wonderful personality and is so talented, from cooking, to the fresh cut flowers in the home upon arrival. Seeing her garden and all the beautiful flowers she had planted. It was just a great weekend and we enjoyed it so much. We really wanted to stay. I’ll definitely be going back and spending more time.. the property alone is worth walking through. It’s definitely a paradise.

Owners Brian & Theresa Palmer designers from the UK. We moved to the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains 10 years ago. Knoll cottage is situated across the field from our home and studio. We enjoy walking the hundred acres of pasture and woodland, and our guests are welcome to do the same. We often bike the New River Trail and are happy to let the guests have the use of four bicycles as well as canoe and kayak. We are keen gardeners and raise our own organic vegetables. Weekends are spent mainly outside enjoying the peace and beauty of the surrounding area.
