4500 sq ft Anchorage gem with scenic lake and mountain views sits directly on Jewel Lake, minutes from the airport, downtown and Kincaid Park hiking, biking, and ski trails. In the summer, fish from the dock, take a kayak or paddle board and tour the lake. Life-guarded beach and playground across the lake. In the winter, ice fish, snow-machine or ski across the lake. Fenced property has a large trex deck to BBQ. Inside, foosball, shuffle board and pool table provide family entertainment.

We had a wonderful stay! We especially enjoyed all of the water equipment that was available to use. Also, so much space in the house made it easy for us to have family time and some separate space. We would recommend this house for any family visiting the Anchorage area.

Perfect for our 3 generations

Our group of 12 family members stayed two nights in this beautiful home on peaceful Jewel Lake before our Alaskan cruise. Our only regret was not coming in days earlier to utilize all that this home and the area has to offer. 5 stars on everything from cleanliness, communication and comfort. Highly recommend.

Jewel on the Lake

We had a great stay in this house on the lake with plenty to keep us busy. Paddle boards were a huge hit with the kids. The house is spacious and well appointed.

Anchorage home base

We loved staying at this beautiful property on the lake. We were greeted with a beautiful sunrise over the lake our first morning. The house it well equipped and the beds are so comfortable! It was a great location to go and come to and from our vacation events around Anchorage but still be in a serene setting.

Beautiful view! Very conveniently located. The home had everything we needed and more. Washer/dryers both upstairs & downstairs. Lovely time fishing with kids (poles, etc. provided) cooking out in the grill, and canoeing! The host was very responsive to any questions we had prior to our arrival. Lots of games, shuffle board, soccer game, etc for family fun.We will definitely be back! Thanks again for sharing your beautiful, spacious home.

Amazing property for your big family

This property is definitely a jewel: great location by the lake with amazing view, well stocked kitchen with everything you need, plenty of beds and space to hang out for your big family, plenty of games to entertain the young and the old, and of course everything is super clean. I will definitely stay again the next time I am in town with my big family.

3 night stay in late June

Very nice property that is well maintained with lots to do while hanging out in between outings. Kitchen is extremely well stocked with anything needed to cook during the stay. Was a bit of a hiccup due to check-in as cleaning was still occurring. Owners added time on the check out. If visiting during the summer, will likely need to open windows to cool off rooms so be prepared with ear plugs as outside noise (birds etc) would keep you awake.

Excellent Stay!

We stayed in Alaska for 12 days and stayed in homes from Anchorage to Homer and Girdwood.....this home was rated by the family as the absolute best! The owners, knowing I was coming in for my birthday, even left me a little present of chocolate and wine. Such a sweet touch and a perfect way to end our adventure. The view was amazing and the home itself was even better! Thank you so much for allowing us the pleasure of experiencing your amazing home!

Wonderful place with SO many "Toys" right on the property!

This property was very clean and had easy access. What we really loved was the kayak, boat/raft, paddle boards and fishing equipment. We had a short 2 days there but wish we had time to use all of the "toys"!! They also had pool table, shuffle board table, foose ball table and sooo many games! This is a great place to wind down at the end of a day of excursions or just stay all day and make your own!! Comfortable beds, everything you need in the kitchen, and tons of towels and blankets! The owners were super accommodating and easy to communicate with at all times! Totally Recommend!

Nice Family Weekend

We stayed here with our 4 adult children and their spouses for the weekend. The house is beautifully situated and made quick trips to the airport or downtown easy. My only complaint was that there were several shades that were not working which is somewhat critical for sleeping at this time of year. My son and his wife ended up stuffing pillows in the window to block the light so they could sleep. A couple of the other ones could use a little fine tuning, but worked well enough. Otherwise this place is a gem and we would definitely stay there again.

Best time!

We loved this house! It was close and convenient to the airport and grocery store, yet still felt like it was away from it all. It was peaceful waking up to the lake view every morning. The house was set up perfectly for 4 adults and 7 kids (5 teenagers). There was more than enough space for the kids to sleep downstairs with three bedrooms up for the adults. I highly recommend for families or multi family groups!
