Bruce Pines Cottage at Sauble Beach, Tranquility

Welcome to Bruce Pines at Sauble Beach!

Peaceful and tranquil and only a 4 minute walk to the pristine sandy beach.

Enjoy a private treed setting with loads of outdoor living space or a short bike ride to the main strip to take in the shops and cafes. Back at the cottage for a BBQ with family and friends in the fully screened outdoor dining room. Round out the evening with wine, music, board games, campfire and smores for the kids.

Inside is fully furnished with well equipped kitchen, dishwasher, Smart TV, high speed wifi internet, AC, natural gas fireplace and renovated bathroom and living room. Outside has a large front deck with muskoka chairs and a bistro table set, BBQ and campfire pit with plenty of seating and surrounded by forest. Everything you need for your family vacay!

New for the 2026 season, we are offering an air conditioned bunkie on site for 2 extra guests. If interested, please inquire directly about details and fees.

A lovely cottage, short walk to the Beach. The screened in porch is an amazing room to have, it was used a lot during our stay. Nice quiet area. AC was also a welcomed option when needed. The owners were great to work with. Thanks T & D for some great memories.

Not what we expected

An honest review.The good:- 5 minute walk to the beach- The cottage comes equipped with everything from beach wagon to bikes- The owners are very responsiveThe bad:- Spent hours cleaning the cottage upon arrival- Expired food from 2022 in fridge and cupboard that I had to clean out- Had to pay extra for bunkie. It's a shed with a couple of beds. It was too hot or too cold. The owners have since refunded this charge which we appreciated.The ugly:- There was a terrible smell of mold in the cottage when we got there. Husband figured out it was the AC. Turned it off and smell went away. Owners offered to have it serviced but we declined. We didn't want to use it anymore because of health concerns.- The beds were awful. No one got any sleep all week. One mattress collapsed in the middle and the other one squeaked every time you moved. - The septic pump woke us up every morning. I thought someone was bulldozing the cabin the first time I heard it.Overall we had a good week because we were with family at one of our favourite beaches. But, I've never been so happy to go home. At almost 4K a week, we were so disappointed; especially after reading the reviews.It's tough because the owners are nice and it makes it a lot harder to leave an honest review about the downsides of the cottage.

Beautiful interior. Quiet street and only a few minute walk to a quiet spot on the beach. A good walk to the main street. Everything came as advertised.Would go again.

This cottage is perfect! There is almost nothing that hasn't been thought about. Inside, it is not only clean but also very cozy everyhing that a family might need to have a pleasant stay. Outside, there is a gas barbecue grill as well as a firepit that our kids made great use of as much as they could by setting up a campfire several times. They also enjoyed a wagon ride to the beach. They didn't want to leave the place! Thank you so much for everything.

Peaceful spot near the beach

The cottage is so thoughtfully designed. It was clean and comfortable. Both inside and outside of the cottage were great to relax in. Close to the beach. The owners were so helpful and responsive. We will be back! Thanks for a great stay!

I had THE most wonderful stay! The cottage was perfect; the sun porch was a slice of heaven in the morning and at dusk. Dee and Tim provided staples that complimented my planned meals and evenings. I know this won’t be the last time I say at Bruce Oines!

Great location and very comfortable cottage!

We really enjoyed our stay at Bruce Pines. The cottage is in good condition and has everything you need to be very comfortable. Such a short walk to the beach and they even have some beach toys, beach wagon etc. The hosts were easy to get in touch with when we had questions. The only reason I removed one star overall was just the front of the cottage (landscaping) looks a little rough when you drive up and doesn't match the cleanliness of the inside! We will definitely be returning for another great visit!

Amazing week!

We loved our stay! Great location, short walks to the beach. Got up early and walked to the strip for some tasty treats at Luscious. Sat and had coffee while the kids shopped. Cottage is great with everything you need. Not to big, not to small. The screened in porch was a bonus for cards. A perfect atmosphere for family to reconnect.

Great stay

Cottage was in a great location, very short walk to the beach. Loved that there were two wagons to take our things to the beach and also our young children. Screened in room was our favorite spot. Hosts were very quick to respond to any issue we had, which were minor. Would love to come back again!

Great Place for a Getaway

Property was exactly as expected from the description. The hosts communication and friendliness was second to none. My family loved our stay there, we roasted marshmallows in the backyard fire pit and spent plenty of time down down at the beach. The kitchen has everything you could ever need and was very generous with the share pantry setup. 3 bedrooms was a big plus with 2 young kids. I would definitely recommend this place to stay if you're in the area.

quick trip before busy season

We needed a few days of quiet and long walks on the beach - mission accomplished! This is one of the best equipped cottages we've ever stayed at. Great kitchen (condiments in the fridge! spices! a choice of ways to brew coffee! awesome gas grill! pay-it-forward pantry!) Newly refreshed bathroom and updated decor throughout. Private location in a quiet neighbourhood, but still close to conveniences. Morning coffee on the east-facing patio, days spent walking the pre-season very quiet beach, and evenings chatting around the fire pit in the backyard. Screened in porch for bonus bug-free outside time. Thank you for a lovely few days!

Perfect beach getaway!

Tim and Denise are fabulous hosts! We really enjoyed our stay at Sauble and to allow us to bring our best friend Buddy to join just made our vacation all the better! Very clean, modern and updated cottage provided within 2 mins (if even) walking distance from the beach. They were very accommodating with allowing us to stay an extra day (unplanned) as we were having such a great time. We want to thank them for everything and look forward to renting from them next season! Thanks Tim and Denise 🙂
