Wonderful Historic Bluegrass Trust Home- WOODLAWN is an estate unlike any other in Central Kentucky located in the heart of Lexington. Woodlawn is registered as a Bluegrass Trust Historic Property. The facade is anchored by a Greek pediment and four ionic columns which lends elegance and southern charm to the already stunning five bedroom, four and a half bath home.

I will be available as needed during the duration of your stay to make certain you enjoy yourself and all Lexington has to offer!

Our neighborhood is often referred to as "Lexington's Hidden Gem" with tree lined streets and several of the houses being part of The Bluegrass Trust registry. Take a drive out nearby Paris Pike Rd to see some of the best horse farms in the world!

You will have full access to the home except for the garage.

Woodlawn is in the heart of Bourbon Country. The home sits on an acre of well manicured grounds and gardens containing 200 year old Ash trees. Woodlawn has been painstakingly restored and renovated, harmonizing the luxuries of the 21st century with the classic design of southern sophistication of the past. For more than two decades this home has served as the heart of many of our family gatherings and special events. The furnishings include an eclectic mix of art and furniture acquired during our expat years and our travels around the world. We want to open our home for your enjoyment. No matter where we have lived in the world we have always been drawn back to Lexington. Woodlawn is within 3 miles of downtown Lexington and Rupp Arena, home of the Kentucky Wildcats. Lexington is known as "The Horse Capital of the World". Our home is less than 10 miles to the Bluegrass Field-Lexington Airport, Keenland Racetrack and The Kentucky Horse Park. Woodlawn is conveniently located in close proximity to many of the bourbon distilleries on The Kentucky Bourbon Trail and we are super excited to share it with you. Come enjoy our southern hospitality!

This was a beautiful old home with lots of history. Plenty of room for large families. Owners are very accommodating. Felt right at home. Would definitely stay again if visiting Lexington in the future.

We loved the house… Great everything inside the house… We had difficulty locking and then unlocking the front door plus we found the garage door, basement door, and side door unlocked….They were locked then after we notified the host…All bedrooms and baths were very nice… There needs to be more lighting on the front entrance and steps…Couldn’t see to walk up steps when coming in after dark…Toilet in the back bathroom ran the entire visit…

Beautiful large home.

This house was wonderful. We had several groups of our family there and there was plenty of room for everyone. This is an older home with creaky floors, sticky doors and wavy floors which in our opinion just adds to the charm of this home. Good location and very private.

Upscale but comfortable

My family and I just had the pleasure of staying in this house and dealing with the homeowner. Both was extra extraordinary the house head rooms where everyone could be together or could hide out and read the homeowner couldn’t have been more accommodating if we ever go back to Lexington we will be going here

Horse show

We stayed at the house while we were in town to compete at the Horse Park. It’s a lovely older home with lots of space and amenities. A ground floor entrance would have been useful. Bedrooms, bathrooms, linens and all the space it offered was great.

We ran the Bourbon Chase Ragnar, before the race began we were in communication with the host. She sent us local overnight parking venues and allowed an early check in for us to get in sleep, shower and relax after running 200ish miles. The house is beautiful with small snacks available to the guests! We will be back again.

Woodlawn Estate

Simply elegant property. Timeless and classic. This is one of the most interesting houses I’ve ever stayed in. You feel like a little kid wanting to explore all the rooms as the house seems to go on forever. The house is gorgeous and centrally located. The property managers answered my call quickly when I did have a question. Overall I would highly recommend and plan on re-booking in the spring.
