Natures wonders are all around. Soak in our "Hot Tub" or watch the stars at night on our floating dock. Come fishing. You can launch your boat just a few miles up the road, park it on our beach. We have a large circle drive. Family friendly, pet friendly home. Sleeps 6. Our views are social media worthy. come sit by the Fire Pit. Extremely quite neighborhood.

Toledo Oasis

Our stay was awesome! It was just my husband and I, our 2 daughters, and our dogs. We all had a blast. House was just the right size for our small group. Lots of rafts and extra water amenities provided and all were really nice. We plan to rent it again when it’s cooler temperatures. It’s a nice little oasis.

Beautiful place to stay.

Everything was great. House was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Hot tub was amazing. Porch was relaxing and comfortable to sit and watch the water. We enjoyed the dock and fishing. The host was amazing. We would stay again!

Won’t be back!!!!

I just have a real issue when I point out an issue to the property management company and they don’t even bother to respond. Probably because I had already left and they had been paid. It just shows me their type of character. I will never go back to this property.

Great property with many amenities

Property is as described. We had a great trip with our family. It’s clear the hosts thought about every convenience for their guests. The kitchen is fully stocked and a joy to cook in. Property was overall clean, but the cleaning crew could definitely be more thorough. No major issues though. Like some others mentioned, the shower heads are a bit unpleasant and hallway toilet is incredibly loud when flushing. That was only a nuisance because we had an infant. The hot tub, hammock, kayaks, large TVs, and beach made for a very enjoyable trip. If I could make any recommendations, it would be nice if the property had simple all purpose cleaner available for guests to clean up easier.. especially when they’re cooking.

Perfect weekend getaway!

The view, the property, the amenities… it’s the gift that keeps on giving. We didn’t want to leave. On our second day, we did a morning fishing tour and a sunset cruise with Down South Toledo Guide Service (recommended by the owner). They picked us up and dropped us off at our dock which was SO convenient. We had good luck fishing and got to cook a delicious dinner with the super well equipped kitchen after. The funky shower heads could use some updating, but this is truly a minor detail when compared to how much this beautiful place has to give. We can’t wait to go back.

Peaceful and Relaxing

The property had everything we needed. My father is in a wheelchair, and he had no problem maneuvering through the cabin. The view was perfect and we can't wait to come back!

Easter Weekend Getaway

My wife and I had a great few days here at Toledo Bend enjoying a long Easter Weekend. Brought our boat and enjoyed three days of fishing and exploring the south end of Toledo Bend, where we’ve never fished before. Weather was beautiful and the property was perfect for us. We enjoyed beautiful views while grilling on back porch and sitting around the fire pit at waters edge! Great trip!

Great Getaway on Toledo Bend!

This property is AS ADVERTISED and I would highly recommend! The location is perfect and LaDonna was very nice and accomodating. I have stayed in many VRBOs over the years and usually there are little things that were missing but this house has everything… kitchen, outdoors, kayaks, beach, lakefront… it is absolutely perfect. Thank you LaDonna, we will be back!

Fun Family Getaway

I highly recommend this property. The house is nicely furnished, clean and well kept. The living area has two very comfortable couches and an electric fireplace that was super cozy. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms were stocked with all the essentials. The kitchen had everything we needed and more to prepare meals plus there is a nice sized charcoal grill on the patio. It’s a smaller house but it was the perfect size for our family of four. We spent a lot of time outside of the house though. The lake view is awesome! The lounge area under the covered patio is a relaxing coffee drinking spot and the inflatable hot tub gets the job done to help you wind down. We had fun fishing from the dock but didn’t catch much due to the cold weather. The kayaks were fun too. We found some life jackets in the shed and had a blast floating around the docks. The lake is huge with lots of areas to explore. South Toledo Bend State Park has two hiking trails that are fairly easy. There are also many recreation areas with hiking trails spread throughout the Sabine National Forest. LaDonna was amazing and made sure our stay was pleasant. She was very easy to get in touch with and communicated well with us. We would love to visit again.

Perfect Girls Weekend Stay

We could not have been any happier with our choice to stay here for our weekend girls trip. It was so peaceful staying on the water. The place was even decorated for Christmas and was so fun and festive. The beds were super comfortable and there was every amenity we needed. We used the kayaks during the day and fire pit at night. Any time I had a question, the owners responded right away and were so nice and helpful. I'm not usually one to want to go back to the same place twice, but for here, I'm making an exception! Can't wait to come back.

Enjoyed very much. Everything we needed was there. All I can say is it’s beautiful, perfect setting and all you need is to bring clothes and food. Everything is was provided. We will definitely be going back.

Relaxing Lake Getaway

Fisher’s Point was a wonderful place for a weekend getaway. The host, Ms LaDonna, is so sweet and made sure everything was perfect. Upon arrival the hot tub was on and ready for use. The lake house was clean, well furnished, and stocked with just about anything you would need. There is something to do for every age group here. We spent most of our time outside relaxing, fishing from the dock, and watching all of the geese. The lake house is in the perfect location. No noise, great area to swim, kayak, or just watch nature. I highly recommend Fisher’s Point and we hope to come back in the future!

We live on 40-acre farm in East Texas with our 3 dogs, 10 cows & 6 chickens. We both were born and raised in Texas and love the state so much we still live here. We have owned and operate AmeriTech Buildings Inc. for over 20 years located in Jasper. We specialize in “Tiny Living Spaces” or Recreation Cabins. We both love to fish and Mike guided on the North end of Toledo for 25 years and LaDonna fished on the “Bass N Gals “Tournament Trail as well. We love to travel with our family and now are branching out to Airbnb! We are familiar with the area and hope to provide you with some of the local favorite places and restaurants. We are both genuinely excited to be hosting you. Our main goal is for you to make lifetime memories here on South Toledo Bend.

Quite, restful location with alluring views to watch the sunset or rise. We have a hot tub to relax in. Covered porch with 65" outdoor TV, home is very well maintained. Can bring your boat or jet skies we have a circle drive. Sandy private beach area, firepit, picnic table, the views are AWESOME.

Lake front views that are Instagram worthy! Lighted floating dock to fish off of, or tie your boat up to it after you launch your boat just a mile up the road. Beautiful sandy beach to relax on. Enjoy our hot tub on our covered deck with privacy curtains. Enjoy the NEW 65" outdoor TV! We have added a Generac Generator to insure no electrical outages during your stay.
