Welcome to our beautiful & peaceful cabin in the backwoods of east Tennessee! This is where fun memories can be made! It is a perfect place to accommodate 3 couples with children. We are 21 miles east of Knoxville located in the middle of Cherokee Lake & Douglas Lake, just 16 miles either direction. Pigeon Forge is a fun mountain resort just 22 miles away! We are 31 miles to Gatlinburg and 35 miles to the Great Smoky Mountains! Our cabin has a game room, a gorgeous outdoor patio deck with a fire pit & grill, and much more!

We loved staying here. Our daughter got married not far from the house and it was perfect. The quiet evenings on the back porch with a cup of hot tea and enjoying seeing all the stars was exactly what we needed.

Family Vacation

My family had an enjoyable stay at the house. It was very clean, relaxing, and met all of our needs. We especially enjoyed all of the games and the beautiful deck. We traveled to Knoxville, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge during our week there. The hostess was very kind to help us out when we experienced some car problems while there. Would recommend the house to others!

Couldn’t Be Better

This is our second time staying at this peaceful, lovely, well-appointed property. A host could not be any more responsive or helpful than Rosiland. Described accurately and a fair value. I recommend Mountain Cabin without reservation.

Baby Shower Road Trip

Property is very clean and well appointed. Bedrooms were comfortable and the deck was a great focal point. We spent the last night in the game room with everyone participating, including my 90 year old Dad!A great property, we would stay again!

Spacious, well-stocked, great games and books for all ages, gorgeous views, wonderful deck with comfortable seating and amenities…can’t think of a thing that’s missing. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Experience!

The house was exactly what we wanted! Very clean and nice. Perfect for a group of guys on a golf trip. The ping pong table was a wonderful surprise! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great mountain getaway

This is the perfect place for someone who is looking to get away from the hustle of the city. It’s tucked away perfectly in the country, but not too far from the nearest shopping center. The view from the deck is a great way to start the morning and the host was very accommodating and quick to answer any questions we had. This will definitely be our choice if we come back to this area.

Extended weekend

The house has a lot to offer from everything you need but your food and drinks, to plenty of space for everyone. There were 6 of us plus our small dog. We were around 28 minutes from some great restaurants and around 35 minutes from Walmart and Sam’s Club. It was peace and we really enjoyed the deck.

Family Vacation

We had our 3 grown children with their children on this vacation. Sitting on the porch overlooking the front yard was a sight from morning to evening. Every morning we would walk down the road either way and hike the driveway. The accommodations were everything we could hope for. If you're looking for a mountain retreat not too far from the excitement of Pigeon Forge, this is the place to be. We definitely will make plans to go there again next year.

Amazing property

We loved everything about our stay. Location was close to every tourist attraction possible, but still had a beautiful Mountain View. The house was stocked with everything we could have needed which was super convenient!

Wonderful escape

It was an amazing reset tucked away from all the hustle and bustle but still driving distance to attractions and hiking trails. The outdoor space was wonderful and particularly loved that there was access to the porch from two bedrooms and the main living room. Will definitely return if in Tennessee again!

Beatiful home

I love the house because it was away from all busy city life. Location of the house was ideal being in the middle knoxville and Gaitlinburg. Extremely close to Buc-ee's. Not a lot of food places close but house had all needed to cook or grill meals. The scenery was beautiful from the large deck. The garage an awesome place to hangout at night. We definitely be staying there again. Host was amazing. Thanks again!

Perfect in every way!

This stunning home was the perfect place to celebrate our son’s graduation from UT, enjoy Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, and spend some very special family time at the house hanging out, playing games, and enjoying peaceful mornings drinking coffee on the deck with gorgeous views and cool breezes. The Host is delightful and very responsive to any questions.

My husband and I have been dreaming about owning a beautiful mountain view cabin in East Tennesse that we can call home. God-willing we will get to enjoy this place to its fullest one day. Until then, we thought we would open it up for others to make some beautiful memories and be a blessing. This is our prayer, and we hope you may be able to enjoy it as well with your family and friends.

This property is what country music songs are all about!! This spacious home is perched up on a 5-acre hill with beautiful mountain views. You can wake up to the most beautiful sunrises Tennesse is known for! Our home is comfortable, fun, with lots of games and amenities to make you feel right at home. Our kitchen is stocked with everything needed to make some good homecooked meals to make everyone's tummies happy.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The gorgeous mountain views are what makes this home are dream home! Our outside deck with a firepit and plenty of outdoor couches to sit on is what makes this home special. You can sip on your coffee in the morning and watch the gorgeous sunrise! We have a grill to make some good food too. There are 3 doors from the main home where you can gain access to the deck. Two of the doors are from the bedrooms. We have a variety of games for all ages to keep everyone competitive and entertained. There will never be a dull moment in this home!
