We had a great time on our short trip. Great communication from host and the cabin is very cute and cozy. Our dogs enjoyed exploring the woods, we saw deer in the morning, and great view of the stars at night. If it had been warmer, we definitely would’ve taken advantage of the cute fire pit area. Everything you need for time away from home. We even door dashed dinner, which was so convenient!

It's close to everything yet serene and secluded. It was a great experience. Very comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. Book it, you won't regret it.

Ben and Mackenzie’s place was relaxing, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. You truly feel like you are away in this secluded cabin. They had everything you needed, and the host responded quickly to any questions. Would love to return again!

I was thrilled with how isolated the cabin seemed but town was only 10 minutes away. The quiet woods, the abundant deer, and the cozy cabin were exactly what we needed. You can see the neighbor's houses but it was obvious they weren't around. The weather was perfect so we kept the windows open and didn't need AC or heat. I was surprised that we didn't encounter any bugs. Nothing biting, nothing flying, and no ticks! Granted, this could have been weather related but it was a fantastic surprise. The only thing I wish I could have changed was the length of time I stayed. Strongly suggest for isolation, retreat, quiet time type of vacation. The cabin was perfect for my family and the dogs.

Peaceful, beautiful place

This place was very clean, beautiful inside and so peaceful outside, I’ve stayed at lots of places and this was one of those places I didn’t want to leave . Sat and watched a Doe and her 2 fawns every morning out back it was so awesome. Will definitly stay again.

Didn't want to leave - total gem!

When we opened the door, it was love at first sight. The decor and furnishings give the cottage such a comfortable, cozy feeling. Loved the privacy. The firepit and the wildlife made the peaceful surroundings even better. We will definitely be staying here again!

Awesome property in the woods!

I had a great time at the cabin. It was a perfect spot to get away from the cities for a quick midweek trip. Kitchen had everything I needed, the bed was comfy and the location was amazing! Quick trip into town and the local golf courses. Ben was great to work with. Awesome property, would absolutely stay again!

Respite in the woods

We had some family things in Brainerd and I wanted a quiet place to unwind at night. Ben’s place near Long Lake was just the spot! I’ve stayed at a lot of vacation homes, the bed was honestly the 2nd best of all time! The cabin has all the amenities and more you could want to use for a week away. The in-floor heat is especially nice for an early morning coffee. Ben was Very Responsive and quick to anything that came up, including notification to me that the internet was down and he had someone come to fix it quickly. If I return for a visit to the Brainerd Lakes area again I would book one of his properties!

Tidy and well maintained

My 3 adult daughters and I stayed 2 nights at this property. The whole of the interior was very clean, up to date, and comfortable. There were some outside entertainment areas that maybe needed a little landscaping and weeding to match the interior, but were still okay. We had a great time!

Cute, private getaway in the woods

The location is private and surrounded by beautiful trees giving it a nice, woodsy feel. We had a night fire in the firepit outdoors even though it was in the temp was in the teens and it was wonderful. I imagine coming back in the warmer weather with my kids having a bonfire and cooking hotdogs & Smores over the fire after an adventurous day outdoors. The cabin was modern & very comfortable; the concrete floors with the in-floor heat were amazing! No complaints! We had a nice 3 night getaway without the kids... great area! Highly Recommend!

This property just jumped out to my wife an I. Set on a secluded 5 acres it really does provide solitude and a feeling of being out in the middle of the forest by yourself. The styling has some rustic feel to it while also having all of the modern amenities you could want. Happy to share this property with you all!

The nature views. Almost always when I'm up on the property I encounter deer, turkey, and all sorts of wildlife.
