Iconic East Beach cottage on 14th street, 100 yards to Gould's Inlet! Open floor plan with large kitchen, granite countertops, large den with large gas fireplace, keeping room with brick flooring, french doors off den, keeping room and master bedroom onto expansive antique brick patio with outdoor fireplace. Large dining room with oversized table seating up to 10 people. Kitchen pine table seats 6 comfortably. 26 Foot Vaulted pine ceilings with beam. 2 King en-suite bedrooms on main floor and a queen bedroom. Upstairs loft ( the bunk room) has 3 sets of bunk beds with large walk in bathroom and a reading nook; Twin bed with trundle in nook on main floor under spiral staircase (close to parents if needed).
Wonderful home for large gatherings or very comfortable for just 2 people. Amazing outdoor space, Less than 1 minute walk to the Gould's Inlet- the most desired part of East beach! PET FRIENDLY, all beds new (2022) Stearns & Foster mattresses, all new Peacock Alley bedding and down comforters, NEW sofas, New rugs and new smart TV's in every room! Den has a 70" Smart TV! Private Pool and Heated spa ! We are the new owners of this property but have owned and managed another property on the island, listing # 589752, to review my 5 star reviews and pictures!

This is the most AMAZING East Beach cottage accommodating large families, friends or just a couple! The pool & spa will be architecturally beautiful and a great space to escape to after a long day at the beach! We are the owners and managers of our properties and are absolutely committed to excellence for all our renters. We are always available to renters with immediate response time to any needs- just look at our reviews on our other property (#589752).
We want every person to feel like they are at home with quality bedding, decor and cleanliness. I never want anyone to feel like they are staying in a "rental". You will absolutely LOVE the HIGH LIFE cottage!! Thank you all in advance for your consideration!

Perfect location. Delightful house with roomy accommodations for the whole family. Lovely treed and landscaped oasis around the pool. Short walk to the beach. Huge kitchen and dinner seating for our whole family. We love this rental!

They went out of their way to provide start up supplies. Having beach towels and chairs was nice so we didn’t have to bring our own saving room for the trip. The house was extremely comfortable and attractive. Well designed for the beach. Loved the pool and hot tub. The pool was the perfect size.

Fabulous family vacation

The house is as advertised and we loved the double living space for our large family. Our 3 grands loved the pool and it was nice having a 1 level house for young children. Jennifer was absolutely fantastic to deal with!

Family time

Gathered here with our adult children and their significant others; great location, relaxing cottage with plenty of room for the 6 of us. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking in. Pool was amazing. Golf cart was a plus, made it much easier to get back and forth to beaches and restaurants. We all really enjoyed our stay!

Family Vacation

Lovely cottage. Loved the outside amenities; pool, hot tub, seating and eating area. The only negative was the lack of lighting in the Master bathroom. Overall; my family and I had a wonderful time on SSI and High Life Cottage was a huge part of our experience.

Location location location

Great beach cottage!!! Had everything we needed, the golf cart was a perfect addition for our much needed trips for ice cream… I can’t say enough about the east end beach, a lake a part of the day and an ocean the rest of the day.. we really enjoyed our visit

Wonderful trip!

We had the best time at this property and hope to stay again. The home is very comfortable and cozy. Additionally, it it well stocked with anything you would need. We spent a lot of time in the backyard, the outdoor space is amazing.

Charming East Beach Cottage!

We loved our stay at the High Life Cottage! We were in town for a family wedding and enjoyed the easy access to the beach, the beautiful yard and great patio/pool deck! There was plenty of living space and the bunk room was a hit with the kids. A short drive to everything and a quiet, peaceful neighborhood great for walking and bike rides.

Perfect Stay

FAB Cottage Indeed!

Great location, exceptionally well equipped, spacious and comfortable, luxurious outdoor areas. It was everything one would look for in a vacation home! Bonus: you can rent a six seat golf cart from the owner...delivered and ready to ride. We will absolutely return. Book this now!

Family Beach Trip

We had a wonderful week in St. Simons. The house is wonderful. It had plenty of room to spread out. The pool was great for cooling off. It was in a perfect location with a very short walk to the beach! We will definitely try to stay here again.

Great house and location

We loved our stay at this East Beach Cottage. The house was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and well-appointed. It has everything we needed! The fenced in yard was great for our dog, and the pool and spa were wonderful. The owner was so helpful and accessible. And the location was perfect - just a walk to the beach! We were able to walk our dog on the beach each morning and evening, and it was amazing!

High Life Cottage

We loved everything about our stay! The pool, spa, and the short walk to the beach. We rented golf carts and loved exploring....especially The Pier area. Jennifer was easy to reach and we felt that she available for every question that we had! Her availability is a 10/10.

Great Spot

My family and I had a delightful time in this home on East Beach. We loved the area and the short walk to beach. The pool was great—nice if you don’t want full sun all day as it does get shaded at varying points during the day. The layout of the home was open and spacious, and much larger than we thought from pictures. Lots of towels, including beach towels, baby gear, and some beach chairs are all provided. We would definitely stay here again!

Family beach trip

We had a relaxing week with lots of room to spread out in this beautiful beach home. We loved the large dining table for family dinners and game nights. The outdoor shower, pool, and patio area were the perfect place to cool down after coming off the beach. All the beds were comfortable and everyone said how well they slept each night. Jennifer was very responsive to any questions we had. We would absolutely stay here again!

Christmas Vacation

5+ rating! We loved the house. It had everything we needed. The back porch with the fireplace, the pool and hot tub were great. Jennifer responded to any questions we had immediately. The kids and grandkids enjoyed touring the island in the golf cart. It was a great place to spend Christmas and New Years. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful stay!

The house was beautiful and very well equipped for all our needs! We loved the cottage feel. We had plenty of room to spread out and just relax! The owner was so helpful and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. I messaged her about the pool net that had a hole in it and she had a new one sent over! Great service!! This house is beautiful and the beds are so comfy!! I would definitely recommend this house for your vacation! A quick walk to the beach.

Wonderful family vacation spot

Everything about this cottage was wonderful. It’s absolutely perfect for enjoying family with plenty of space suited for visiting, meals, watching movies or games on tv, or just relaxing in peace. The outside area is gorgeous and well suited for lounging. The distance to the beach is super short and the golf cart offered fun transportation to many fun spots on the island. Everything you need is there:kitchen setup, beach toweks, beach chairs. Communication with the hostess was also amazing! I just can’t say enough good things. On our second day there, we were talking about when we could come back!

Great Family Vacation

Our whole family agreed that this was the best family vacation yet. We celebrated our 40th anniversary as well as Father's Day the same day, and it was a wonderful location.The house was great with plenty of room and the pool was a big plus. We had our 11 month old granddaughter so we did not spend a great deal of time on the beach, so the convenience of the pool was great. The walk to the beach was only 2-3 minutes. The house really did feel like a home as the owner promised, and we lacked for nothing. I look forward to returning in years to come.

Charming and Quaint Home

My family of 12 and I spent a week at High Life Cottage on St. Simon's near Gould's Inlet. We were pleasantly surprised by the uniquely decorated, charming and roomy home. It looked exactly like the pictures we had seen. The cottage had everything we needed and more...plenty of room inside and out to accommodate our large group. The addition of the pool and spa topped things off and made the outside a great place for everyone to gather. Thanks for everything, Jennifer!

Tucker Family Vacation

We had a wonderful vacation with our family at the beautiful cottage. Our Son-in-Law, who uses a wheelchair, had no problems getting around in this home. Beach was very close and pool was great for the grandkids. The only issue we had was the spiral staircase and bunk room is not suitable for small children (5 year old & two 4 year olds), but luckily there was a twin with a trundle on the first floor. Our Host was wonderful and was quick to reply to any questions we had. St. Simons Island is definitely one of our new favorite vacation destination.

This is an AMAZING East Beach cottage that is outfitted for every family and will easily accommodate up to 14 comfortably ! Beautiful furnishings, bedding, architectural digest style pool and spa, nestled by an expansive antique brick patio with free standing fire place. Beach proximity to Gould's Inlet is less than 1 minute!

Growing up in Macon GA, our family vacationed in St. Simons Island ever since I can remember.
Our life long dream has been to own a home on East Beach. As soon as we saw this home in July of 2022, we knew this was the home for our family! We also have a family home on the island that we have owned and rented for years off of Demere Road, 16 Live Oak Place (589752).
High Life Cottage is the Iconic East beach cottage original to the island but has been completely updated. We will be adding a pool and heated spa that will be completed by December 1, 2022. The location of High Life Cottage is a less that 1 minute walk to Gould's Inlet making it an easy walk back and forth with little effort. The BEST beach on the ISLAND!
