Newly remodled FL cottage - 1st Tier - Gulf views - 100 steps to beach

Welcome to Cavanna Cabana! This newly renovated Old Florida cottage is located on the sugary white sands of Cape San Blas between Port St. Joe and Apalachicola, Florida. Cavanna Cabana is one of the original homes built on White Sands Drive. The Watsons purchased this home in 2021 and have thoroughly enjoyed bringing this cottage back to life. Relax on the front porch and enjoy Gulf views as it's located only 100 steps to the beach. Cavanna Cabana sleeps six, with two bedrooms, one bathroom and open concept living, kitchen and dining spaces.

Cavanna Cabana is one of the best smaller homes you will find on the Cape. Typically, to find accommodations of this size you must choose a condo and sacrifice privacy. This house offers the independence of a private home and is the perfect size for a couple, small family or snowbirds. Parking will accommodate four vehicles and boat/trailer. White Sands Drive is one of two locations allowing beach access for permitted vehicles. We would love to share our home with you!

Great vacation home

Wonderfully decorated, everything you need in the kitchen. Electric fireplace to enjoy on cool nights. Plenty of room for 2-6 people. Owner was great checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Great views. Super close to beach access. We rented a golf cart and access road was less than 100 yards from house. Quite street. Perfect getaway.

We had an amazing time in an excellent house!!!

This was the cleanest house we have ever stayed in. The proximity to the beach was excellent and even though we were directly on the beach we had an awesome view of the ocean. The house has everything you need and more!! Five stars is no where near a high enough rating!!!

Our New Favorite Beach House

Cavanna Cabana was perfect for our summer stay! It’s located just a short walk to the beach. We had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked well with counter top appliances and kitchen wares. It was perfect for us as a couple but also has a second bedroom with a queen bed and a set of really cute bunk beds. We absolutely loved staying there and will return for sure!

Our winter home away from home!

Perfect Family Vacation!

We had an amazing stay at Cavanna Cabana in April. The house was the perfect size for our family of four (two adults and two young children) and our kids loved the bunk beds and games/art supplies stashed in the coffee table. The decor was absolutely lovely and the house was probably the cleanest, most well-kept vacation rental we have ever stayed at (and we are picky especially with cleanliness!). The location is also hard to beat--great views from most rooms and such an easy walk to the beach. We look forward to many return trips!

Just What Was Needed

Very happy with our decision to stay at Cavanna Cabana. It can be difficult to find a satisfactory rental for a party of two. The location was fantastic with a great water view. The home was clean and well-stocked and beautifully decorated. We will definitely return.

Perfect Winter Vacation

We love spending our winter vacation at Cavanna Cabana. The location is perfect; beautiful sunset view from the porch (as well as the dining room) and convenient access to the beach and bike trail. Perfection!

Great place for a quiet vacation.

We had a great time at Cavanna Cabana this week in June. The house is in a great location and you can sit on the porch and see the ocean. Great sunset views and moonlight views also. Wonderful

We loved our time at Cavanna Cabana. The house fit our family of five very well. It was very clean and well maintained. The short walk to the beach was convenient and the neighborhood was very quiet. We enjoyed its location that was close to the state park, and near enough to bike ride to the Trading Post. Happy memories were made!

Beautiful and very clean home with a wonderful view of the gulf

This home is beautifully decorated and very clean. I’m never disappointed and I feel that it is my home away from home with a view of the gulf. I will always book this house for me and my husband with our two dachshunds which love the large front porch to seat to watch everything around.

Fabulous Vacation

This was our second stay at Cavanna Cabana and it was perfect for our family again. We were notified the home was ready early and upon arrival, each our children were welcomed with personalize gifts which was such a surprise and very thoughtful and kind touch. We loved the decor and the home was so comfortable for us and our 3 children (ages 13, 10 & 5). The kids loved sharing a room and the bunkbeds! The owner checked on us throughout the week to make sure we had everything we needed, which we did. The view of the ocean from our bedroom, kitchen and dining area was lovely. The beach was just a few steps away from the front door and was never crowded, so we had plenty of room to play and spread out. The location is convenient to the State Park, Rish Park which has a pool, and our favorite restaurants on the Cape. We hated to leave and will definitely be back!

Loved It!

I can't say enough good things about our recent stay at Cavanna Cabana in Cape San Blas. It was perfect!!! Everything was immaculately clean, comfortable, and accommodating. The owners were super quick to respond when we had questions and when we needed help learning how to unlock and lock the door. Lol. The decor was absolutely delightful and created the perfect serene beach vibe. Our kids especially were delighted by the extra touches of the welcome basket of goodies, the informational art prints that identified local fish and shells, and the shells to sign. The owners had truly thought of everything. These special touches were just the icing on top of an already superb place to stay for us, our children and our 2 little dogs. From the nice appliances, the superb air conditioning, the ample hot water, the outdoor shower, the huge porch with a great view of the beach and ocean, the covered parking, to the countless other amenities, everything was just wonderful.We had the best time ever and would stay here again in a heartbeat!
