The location was great. We had a rental car, but even without one, the accessibility of shops was so convenient. Loved that the unit was updated and clean. We didn't use any of the property amenities and were gone 95% of the time, only there to sleep, but it was so nice having the AC unit after being out all day. The full-size fridge/freezer was helpful as well to keep ice and waters. Overall, it was a quiet unit and would recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Plantation Hale. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped with plates, mugs, glasses and cookware, the heat pump worked well and there were plenty of towels. We also appreciated the beach chairs left for our use.The location was also great, close to Coconut Marketplace and its stores and restaurants.We could have used more toilet paper for our 2 week stay and the instructions for using the living room TV remote were for a different remote than what was in the living room.Other than minor details, it was perfect.

Awesome, to say the least!

Comfortable, clean, with all you need when on vacation, safe and excellent location. Restaurants, supermarkets, food trucks, Farmacy, all at a very short distance. I will stay there as many times I will visit Kauai, I highly recommend the service and the unit.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Although it is an older property, this unit has been nicely updated. It suited us just fine, and is best suited for just 2 people. We did not use the kitchen for cooking, but it was well stocked, if someone wanted to cook. FYI, there is no dishwasher. We had no problem hand washing our glasses and dishes. We were impressed at how well stocked the unit was. Plenty of trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, shampoo, body wash and soap at sinks. There were plenty of towels, beach towels, beach chairs, ice chest, pretty much anything you needed other than food, was provided. We appreciated the drying rack to dry swimsuits and towels on, and the small safe in the master closet. The location is perfect for wherever you plan to go on the island, whether north to Hanalei or south to Poipu, plus we could walk to Coconut Marketplace to shop or get some shave ice! There is a small pool very close to the unit, that you can barely see thru the vegetation, when on the balcony. We did not use the beach that was across the street because we chose to go to better beaches on the island. The a/c in the living room and bedroom kept the whole condo very cool. The bed was very comfy too! If you are looking for a resort type accommodation, with lots of amenities at the property, this would not meet that criteria. If you are like us and basically need a clean condo to return to after exploring the island this place is perfect!

This condo was exactly as pictured. It was clean and had nice amenities waiting for us. The kitchen was well stocked and there were beach blankets, wave boards, coolers etc. ready for use. The unit is a bit dated but well maintained. We loved the central location on the island. Shopping, restaurants were close by. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice place

The room was comfy once we got the air running. It was clean. Has a nice relaxing view of the sleeping giant. It's fairly centrally located. The beach chairs were helpful. It would have been nice if there was a beach umbrella to use as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Stay!

This rental is an amazing bang for your buck! My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week and staying here was one of the highlights of our trip. The rental was clean, spacious for 2, and full of amenities including on-site laundry. There wasn’t and ocean front view from our deck, but the patio is spacious and has a beautiful view of the awesome grounds landscaping and one of the tall peaks in the background. Kappa is also a good location to stay because of its mid-distance to both the north and south parts of the island. All the big bill popular restaurants are also walking distance or a short car ride from the property. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay - we enjoyed so much!

Great location and clean well equipped apartment!

the apartment was clean and well equipped. The vacassa group were very easy to work with. Very responsive. We were not happy with the pool however. It was too ice cold to use and the hot tub only worked sporadically. The bbq at the pool was also weak. We realize that the homeowner cannot control this but mention it for their information.

A little dated

The place was ok, except it might be time to put a little money into renovations. Two kitchen cabinet doors wouldn't close, the a/c unit is not draining properly, and an interior paint job might cheer the place up.

Close to all we love

This was a great place to stay for us. We had a kitchen to enjoy everything we picked up from the farmers market. Walking distance to some great places to eat when we didn’t want to cook. Close to airport, close to the beach, close to hiking and a nice view of sleeping giant. Cant wait to come back
