My wife and i really enjoyed our stay. This is the second time we have stayed in this location and would definitely recommend this place. Its close to downtown. You can park your car when you show up and never need it till you leave. Clean and very comfortable. We were out all day and relaxed in front of the TV watching the games during the evening. My wife and i arrived earlier then expected and the host allowed us to check in early. Which was super accommodating!!! 5

Excellent location and comfortable. Need to have glassware for those of us who drink wine, and the kitchen could use a better selection for cooking and dining. We love to cook fresh seafood when we can. Sheets also kept coming off the bed through the night.

2 nights in Boothbay Harbor

Cute apartment walking distance to shops, restaurants and docks. Wifi was a little spotty for us but that's ok for short stay. Wish we had a little more scenic outdoor space, but we knew it was on the street rental, so really no complaints! Loved walking everywhere. Already recommended to a friend.

Consider carrying luggage

Clean & spacious. No close drop off and moving luggage from parking lot across busy street to location (1/3 of a block away) was difficult.

Great location, great host, extremely cozy!

Loved every minute of my stay here, the host was very easy to reach and extremely helpful with anything I needed. Can't wait to come back and stay here again sometime!

A week in Boothbay

I'd say that the description/photos were spot on and the location was amazing! We had the best time in Boothbay as we always do. The only downside was the cleanliness of the rental. When we first arrived there was a dryer sheet on the floor, which isn't a big deal at all, easy to overlook, but then I looked around. Inside the utensil drawer were two moldy wooden spoons that I contacted the host about and threw away. Then I cleaned all the utensils and bleached the drawer to hopefully get rid of all the residual mold. Then I noticed that the sides and tops of the refrigerator were covered in what appeared to be mold also. I did clean the fridge part with bleach but not the freezer. When we went to use pots and pans to cook dinner I had to clean all the ones we used as they weren't properly cleaned prior and had food residue left on them. There were some cobwebs/dust built up in the bathroom on the corner wall as well as the picture frame above the toilet. And being that the upper area ceiling is lower my daughter did bump her head on a ceiling tile causing some debris to fall onto her bed which obviously is hard to control, but still a little unsettling. I don't know if I was just overly observant as all the previous reviews have stated how clean it all was or if they just didn't notice/care but I was very disappointed by the cleanliness of the rental. I do wish there was more dresser space available. Overall we really enjoyed the location and the coziness of the rental.

Well appointed with nice touches like lots of towels. The location is terrific. Communication was excellent. Overall, a good choice. My only caveat would be that the platform beds would be great for kids but probably not adults unless they’re agile.

Great place!!

My husband and I enjoyed Boothbay Harbor and this studio was a perfect location!! It had everything we needed, was spacious and clean and had a good vibe. All the shops, restaurants and footbridge were an easy walk and we didn’t have to worry about parking. We took the free trolley which met across the street and we learned a lot about the area. 10 minute drive to Botanical Gardens and Ocean drive. Would definitely recommend!! Thanks for having us!

Wonderful!

Beautiful place to stay. Had no issues at all. Clean, close to town and quiet. Abundance of everything we needed for a perfect stay. Would definitely stay again if we ever come back to Bar Harbor. So much better than a cramped hotel room!
