Spacious 2 bedroom w/ river view - 5 min to Alta Lake Golf Resort and State Park

Stunning views of Eastern Washington hillsides and the Columbia River while five minutes from Alta Lake State Park and Alta Lake Golf Resort. A great getaway spot for the whole family. A salmon derby and hydroplane races take place on the river across from the house and 4 of the states best golf courses are within 30 minutes. (Gamble Sands, Bear Mountain, Desert Canyon and Alta Lake) 2 bedrooms, a spacious living area and an outdoor space with a fire place make this a great vacation home. There is unfortunately no wife. The cell reception is great so I use my wifi to hookup to the roku tv. Also the tv in the bedroom does not work, sorry for any inconveniences but there is one in the living room :)

Showed up the property keypad code would not work and host would not answer phone. Contacted VRBO. They tried to contact host and cannot either ended up just refunding me and not stay there.

We didn’t even stay at the house. When we arrived the power was out, there were dirty dishes in the sink, the beds were stripped, and the laundry was on the floor in front of the washer. Made multiple attempts to contact the host after arriving at the house and he never responded via text and attempted to call the phone number and it went straight to voicemail. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Do not trust the owner. 1 hour before we arrived to the property, he calls and tells us his cleaner got into a wreck and the house hasn’t been cleaned. Looks like the house has never been cleaned. He promised us to refund us and completely ghosted us. If you’re looking for a place to stay at, stay away from this property

This was a beautiful, spacious home with plenty of room for my little one to run around. The temperature was perfectly maintained — well-cooled and heated. Skylights filled the home with natural light, and there were multiple entry/exit points that opened up to stunning views. A true highlight was watching the July 4th fireworks right from our windows. Thank you for making our stay such a pleasure!

Perfect place

Fishing trip in the area, this was perfect for us. Plenty of room and easy to get to with room for our boat. Wifes got to sleep in and meet us later on the water . Will tryvto rebook again soon

Great location.

Pros: *The beds were very comfortable.*The location of the property is great.Cons:*The entire house smelled like gas. We had to turn off the HVAC system as it was coming from the Garage and through the system. *Communication from the host was terrible. We sent two notes to the Host to try and figure out what was causing the toxic fumes. No response from either note. *The carpet in the main floor bedroom is gross. Very dirty with stains. *The house was sparsely furnished with very little space to sit. No table to eat at, no end tables or night stands. (we did know this going in from prior reviews) Bottom Line, If you can find another location to stay I would. (limited options in this area)

Nice, clean place to stay

This was a convenient place to stay to see family near Methow. The house was clean and everything is just as described. Wifi would be nice, but we knew is wasn't offered, and used our hotspot as recommended.

Not enough seating

The property is great, but if you are going to advertise the house to sleep 6 to 8 people then you should have enough seats for 6 to 8 people. There is a futon that only seats three and two barstools in the living room. No tables anywhere in the house. It would be nice if there is a dining room table and nightstands in the bedrooms.

The house needs a dining table, we had friends that stoped by and as you know there is nowhere to sit except the one couch. The house us clean to expectations. No wi-fi was a bummer

It was a great place to stay to do some salmon fishing up in Brewster! House was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. It is missing some amenities that would have helped make our stay more comfortable such as furniture and some basic kitchen items like a can opener and kitchen towels and hand towels and wash clothes for the bathrooms.

Untimely and poor communication with the owner, inaccurate description of appliances and furniture.

The owner texted us with less than 40 hours of our trip to report that there had been an incident, the house had been damaged after repeatedly trying to contact him of check in information, which we did not receive until we called on our way to his property. We had to work with him regarding issues with the dishwasher, pictures of the residue, etc. in which became a debate as to whether the dishwasher was advertised or not and he would not admit this until I sent him the rental agreement. The refrigerator, in which our food spoiled, created a stress and inconvenience of finding the source of the problem. The furniture was sparse, missing a bar stool, a futon and a camping chair. The remaining futon had a smell to it. The bathtub had trouble draining. I requested a fair reimbursement, which also included the food that had to be replaced. The owner's reaction was argumentative, condescending and he refused to continue any further conversation. Our intent was to work with the owner to help him out for future renters, and with family nearby, we could have helped him by referring his home to others but his responses were unprofessional and accusatory. He mentioned that I was dangerously close to extortion, but we did not ever mention leaving a review or reporting to VRBO. With the accusations that he texted to us in our final message to one another, and with VRBO advisement, he left us no choice then to share the facts, hopefully sparing another renter our difficult experience.
