Update 2025: The season begins with brand-new windows, a glass-enclosed terrace front, and a new front door. The terrace has a new canopy, and the house has been further insulated throughout and clad with “zweeds rabat” Douglas fir wood paneling. Two cars may be parked in the designated parking spaces in the park. The dune landscape offers numerous trails for cyclists, pedestrians, and horseback riders. Het Zwanenwater is a beautiful nature reserve with natural lakes and marshland in the middle of the dunes. The beach has fine sand, is wide, and you can choose between two beach pavilions (Noord and New Zuid)<br><br>Surroundings: You’ll find a selection of nearby attractions at kopvanholland.de/sehenswertes. Everything you need for daily life is within walking or biking distance. A supermarket (300 m), bike rental, restaurants, snack bars, a dance bar (“Dansen bij Franssen”), a swimming pool, a tennis court, and more are all right nearby. For children, in addition to the park’s own playgrounds, there are two recreational facilities. “Het Land van Fluwel Avonturenparadijs” is right across the street, and “Goudvis” features a snack bar, restaurant, and small amusement park.<br><br>Nearby towns worth visiting (Callantsoog, Petten, Camperduin, Schagen) can be reached by bike. Day trips are also made attractive to cyclists by the well-designed network of traffic junctions, where you simply follow a series of numbers. The location is ideal for families and dog owners alike. In the expansive dune areas with nature reserves, you can experience North Holland’s nature up close, and the beach is also nearby.
