This ski-in, ski-out retreat is located at the base of the ski resort and comes with all the amenities you would expect from a 5 star destination. Sheraton Steamboat is in the very heart of the ski village and literally steps away from the Christie Peak express lift and gondola. With slope-side ski rental, storage, and valet, and the Steamboat Kids' Vacation Center right next door, you've got the most convenient and sought after location in town.
After a long day on the slopes, you literally ski down the mountain straight to your resort. And Sheraton's "Saddle's" deck is the perfect apre ski destination. Or choose to journey up to the lounge of the Sheraton's sophisticated rooftop terrace. Here you can luxuriate and take in the mountain views from the hot tubs, or take a dip in the outdoor heated pool with its in-pool whirlpool spa.
The 3 bedroom unit itself sleeps 8. The master bedroom of the villa has a king-size Sheraton bed and HDTV, and an attached en suite bathroom that includes a private whirlpool tub. The second and third bedrooms have queen-size Sheraton beds and HDTV's. The living area has a sleeper sofa, a two-sided fireplace, and HDTV. The fully equipped kitchen of the villa boasts a glass top range, a microwave/convection oven, a full-size refrigerator, a dishwasher, a coffeemaker, a toaster, a blender and dinnerware. The unit will either have a furnished private balcony or a patio. The villa also has its own washer and dryer, and complimentary high-speed wireless internet throughout. Additional amenities at the resort include a fitness center and steam room, a full service day spa and salon, and a game room.
The villas, with their complete kitchens, are so convenient when you want to "ski-in" for a quick bite between runs, or for planning a full "stay at home dinner" when you want a night in. Too tired to cook? The Sheraton offers plenty of dining options. The "Timber & Torch" features bistro style dining and craft beers. "Saddles" offers sophisticated dining in their upscale lounge, alongside awe-inspiring mountain views and a welcoming fireplace. There's also the Saddle's Market for grocery items and sundries, or for a grab 'n go option when you just can't take any time away from the slopes. If you're looking for a night on the town, Steamboat Springs is known for its plentiful world class dining options.
Steamboat is the perfect place for families! Be sure to take advantage of Steamboat's "Kids Ski Free Program." Children 12 years and younger can ski for free the same number of days as their parent or grandparent. The parent or grandparent must purchase a 5 or more day adult lift ticket. And the "Kids' Vacation Center" couldn't be closer to the Villas. It is Steamboat's headquarters for children's activities. Full day childcare lets Mom and Dad enjoy a carefree day on the slopes. Indoor play and ski lessons are grouped by age and development. Please see the Steamboat website for exact and current information.
Besides downhill skiing and snowboarding, other activity options include snowmobiling, ice skating, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, tubing, sleigh rides to your own private dinner in the mountains, or just strolling through the charming western town of Steamboat Springs. Or visit the hot springs in old town or Strawberry Park. Steamboat also offers night skiing! (nights of the week to be announced). The Sheraton's concierge is happy to help with any or all of your adventures.
Steamboat is on my short list of favorite places, and I know it will be on yours too. There's not a better place to spend the holidays!
