You'll love The Island House with outdoor hot tub & game room with pool table. The ocean with beach access is less than 3 blocks away. Imagine you & your family walking to the beach past the park where children are playing in the splash pad or climbing on the monkey bars, playing basketball or tennis. The free outdoor concerts located at Middleton Park in the summer are all within 5 minutes walking distance. In fact, the grocery store, restaurants and bars are also within walking distance. The kitchen is absolutely beautiful after a recent remodel and fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, too.

You'll love the colors throughout the home because they're so happy and cheerful. You can sit on the covered porches out back or in the front as you watch the sunrise or sun set on the beautiful Oak Island.

Smile - ADT Security cameras are located outside of the home around the property including hot tub.

Property Manager lives in a tiny house behind main house but does not share any part of main house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was immaculate with plenty of room. Very convenient to the beach. Easy to locate with good food nearby as well as grocery store. We would rent again.

Latane was a very welcoming , friendly & helpful host. The IH is close to restaurants, 49th St beach access & neighborhood is quiet—great for walking, biking & running. For those not keen on those activities, Latane has a very nice golf cart for rent—perfect for exploring Oak Island. Would stay here again! Thank you!

Great Little Oak Island Find!

My partner and I stayed here for the Oak Island Marathon race in February. The place is immaculate. We always look for a pool table and hot tub if we can find them and this place definitely delivered. The pool table room is amazing. We did have an unfortunate noise incident with a dog in the tiny house out back, but the owner made sure it was taken care of and communicated with me professionally and thoroughly. We'll definitely be looking to stay here again.

Beautiful Island Home

This is the home to stay in on Oak Island! It is beautitful, modern and spacious. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach. Latine is the perfect host, she knows the area well and is available to help in any way. We would definitely stay there again.

Great house and location

The house is great for my family stay. Very convenient location in walking distance to the beach, grocery store, ice cream shop and restaurant. The house is comfortable and we had fun with the pool table. The outdoor shower was great to wash off the beach sand. The only downfall was the hot tub was not warm enough. You might inquire about that if that's a must for your stay. Thank you for the great beach weekend!

Great place and loved the king size bed in master. Hot tub was nice at nice. The front porch was great to seat and drink coffee in the morning. Close to everything down in Oak Island. Great color schemes inside. Owner was available for anything we needed.

Birthday getaway

I brought my son's for a little get away. They are always working to help take care of me and their siblings since my husband died two years ago. I wanted to treat them to a little get away. Such an amazing house. We had so much fun. The owner is such a an amazing person. Thank you so much.

Great Stay

We had a great time staying at the Island House. It is the perfect location near the main street in Oak Island and near everything you need. The property is cute and clean. Latane was a great host. I would definitely stay again.

Latane, The Fabulous Host At The Beautiful Beach House!

Two sisters and a close friend spent nine days at Latane's beautiful beach house. It is one block from the Publix grocery store, BBQ restaurant and three blocks to the park and the beach. The house is cheerfully decorated with a beachy vibe and and has all the items you need (kitchen, linens, beach towels, etc.). There is a sunny recreation room with a pool table, which we enjoyed. The kitchen and living room are one large space so that everyone can hang out together. There is a hot tub and the front and back porches are covered with seating -- great for coffee in the morning and wine at night! Latane is so responsive if you should need anything and a delight to get to know. We had a fabulous time on Oak Island, poking around Southport and taking the ferry over to Bald Head Island. We definitely plan to return again soon. We highly recommend Latane's abode!

Everything was Great!!

The place is great! Everything is so much better than the pictures online. My wife said I did good when I picked this one. The host was very friendly and was really helpful with all questions. I give this place 10 stars. My friend's and family will definitely be returning.

A week on the island!

We had a fantastic week. Property is close to everything. We walked to the beach every day but there is plenty of parking if you have kids in tow! Publix, Dollar General, and several restaurants to walk to. Latane is a super host!

Felt like home

Everything was wonderful. Wish i could give 100 star rating. Latane was friendly, and flat out the best we ever rented from. Answered any and all questions promptly, gave suggestions on where to dine and local hotspots. Even quizzed our children on ocean safety. The house was amazing, the neighborhood was wonderful. Will definitely rent from Latane again.

The Island House is the perfect place!

We had a great family vacation on Oak Island and Latane's Island House was in the perfect location. Just a few blocks from the beach, grocery store, great donut shop, restaurants and ice cream places. Our teenage boys loved the pool table and the large TV in the family room. Latane was always available if we needed her and had some nice chats w/ her during our stay. We would totally recommend this house for your Oak Island vacation. We went to several beaches during our stay and would totally recommend going to Bald Head Island for the day, make sure you rent a golf cart. Thank you Latane for such a great trip, your place made it for us! Hope to get back to see you!

This property was originally a honey bee farm that produced local honey for the community. Upon purchasing the property the bee shack was recently converted to a tiny home which is appropriately named, The Bee Hive and is owner occupied.

This 3 lot property is completely fenced in and close to everything you would need or want for your island getaway.
