Less than 1/2 mile to a private, family friendly beach!! Enjoy all the Cape has to offer without the bridge traffic and congestion! Beautiful, updated house with all the amenities and a gorgeous deck and yard overlooking a private salt marsh. Located in a quiet, safe, and family friendly private beach neighborhood with multiple beaches including one with swim area and dock less than 1/2 mile walk away. Your relaxing vacation awaits at this beautiful place surrounded by water, beautiful wildlife, and gorgeous sunsets!! Neighborhood includes playground less than one block away, baseball diamond, and tennis courts. Home has outdoor surveillance cameras for safety purposes only on doorbell, along side of home and along back. Now only taking Saturday - Saturday weekly rentals for Summer 2026 due to high demand in 2025. If you are a past guest who booked through VRBO and looking to rebook for less than one week please message me.

This house is exactly as described. Very clean, nice and open, with a small but nicely sized backyard (which we played netless badminton in each morning, as it was shady early in the day). We enjoyed grilling and eating on the porch. We took nightly walks down the road to watch the sunset. We enjoyed staying local and eating seafood, hitting Water Wizz and mini-golfing. It was so perfect, we requested an extra night!!

We enjoyed our stay. The house is well kept and has everything you need Very cute, comfortable and homey. The owner was responsive. We enjoyed the porch also. The beaches in the surrounding area were lots of fun and not over crowded. The only thing that lacked a bit was the set up in the back yard. We love hanging outdoors after a good day at the beach after we have grilled. Overall we enjoyed the home.
Little beach never crowded and great small waves
Our fav restaurant - highly recommended. We went there 2xs. The food is fresh and the drinks are delish.
We hung out on the porch a lot. We love grilling.

The location offers ample space and is conveniently situated. While the property provided the essentials needed for our stay, please note that the cottage has a somewhat minimalist decor, with limited furnishings and decorative elements. Adding small touches such as side tables next to the beds for glasses and phones, as well as rugs, artwork, and lamps, would help create a warmer and more inviting atmosphere. We appreciated the comprehensive notebook of information and enjoyed exploring some of the recommended nearby restaurants. We loved Mark Anthony's - what a memorable experience. Additionally, it would be helpful to include guidance regarding not using the thermostat and using the window units instead.

Cute beach cottage that perfectly suited our family's needs to attend a nearby wedding. The house was thoughtfully stocked with everything we might need which we really appreciated. A minor issue came up and the host remedied it right away. The only negative I have is that the turnover cleaning definitely could have been better; my kids slept in the upstairs rooms and were complaining about the beds feeling sandy. On our last day we discovered the dryer was full of clean sheets for those beds that were never put on it. So I'm not sure if the beds just had other dirty blankets? Other than that we enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is charming.

Absolutely Delightful!

We were completely thrilled with our experience! House was clean and super cute, with very comfortable accommodations, neighborhood was lovely and full of friendly people. Hosts were VERY responsive and even brought us a crock pot to use when we inquired about one :) The beaches were nice and thoroughly enjoyable, our kids had a grand time exploring. The Minot forest is beautiful and the sunsets were spectacular. The location can't be beat if you want to get to other attractions in a reasonable time and there are some really good dining options close by - our kids have already asked to come back and we haven't been home 24 hours. This place is a gem!

Warning-Do not stay here

The house was an absolute catfish. It’s nestled in between a neighbor’s back yard and the other neighbor’s driveway. The yard was so overgrown and the weeds were higher than the landscaping. Expired and moldy condiments left in the fridge. Used bars of soap in the shower. Dirty socks left under the trundle bed. The AC compressor was broke and window units were placed, this was told to us after we checked in. The “private beach” in waking distance was a tiny spot off the side of the road. The kicker was the bug infestation causing my family to find a hotel at 12:30 at night. The owner said she was going to go see the property for herself and be in touch but she did not, causing us to leave. Now the owner will not respond to me and VRBO will not help either. Leaving me to pay for a 2 night stay when we were there for 12 hours. Unbelievable. This place is not a “hidden gem” as described by the owners.

The house was clean and perfect for our needs visiting with some old friends in nearby Marion. The host was very responsive and made the check in process quite seamless.

Wareham getaway...

This was a perfect getaway for our multi-generational family vacation. The grandchildren (8 months & 2 years old) had never been to the beach/ocean before. Parkwood Beach and the neighborhood was just right. It is a small beach, not crowded and a short 1/2 mile stroll from the beach house. Definitely recommend it for a low-key getaway.

Our kitchen has all the tools you need, and the house is fully updated. This private beach association is a TOTAL hidden gem: surrounded by water, quiet, safe, a soft sand swim beach, fishing, boating, bird watching, and the MOST BEAUTIFUL sunsets!
