Brand new home! Less than 5 minutes to the beach!

This brand new home is located in a new, quiet neighborhood in the charming town of Netarts. It is just a 3 minute drive to the beach and you can walk to Netarts Bay in less than 10 minutes!

Ocean Highlands Hideaway is bright and welcoming with a comfortable living room and propane fireplace. There is a flatscreen "Smart" TV for quiet evenings at home, and the open and fully stocked kitchen is both lovely and functional offering stainless steel appliances, an island, and a dishwasher for easy clean up.

With three bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, the space can easily sleep 6 guests. All 3 bedrooms have a queen size bed and there is a pull out sofa in the living room if needed. Extra amenities like WiFi and the washer/dryer will make guests feel right at home.

Take the family to the Tillamook Cheese Factory or plan a hike at the nearby Cape Lookout. Explore the tide pools in Oceanside or Cape Meares and enjoy fresh seafood and the local restaurants.

This fantastic home will charm you with style and comfort and bring you back again each year due to its fantastic location on the Oregon Coast!

This was the perfect place for our end of summer girls trip! The home had everything we needed and was close to many attractions - beaches, hikes, restaurants, and other towns! Communication was excellent.I would highly recommend this home for your next Oregon adventure!

Perfect location and home for us.

Netarts and this home were perfect for us. The location was quiet and peaceful. We loved that it was away from the more touristy areas. The home was clean, spacious and stocked with everything we needed. Communication was great as well.

Our stay at this location in Netarts was very enjoyable! The check-in process was very easy. We found the home very clean and accommodating for all our needs. The kitchen provided everything we needed, and the bathrooms were also very clean. The beds in all three rooms were extremely comfortable, and the overall feel of the home was very pleasant and inviting. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and overall had a great experience! We highly recommend this location!

Amazing vacation

It was a perfect vacation for our family. Sara was an amazing host and the house was beautiful and clean. Cannon beach was less than an hour drive away, our kids loved exploring the tunnel beach, visiting Tillamook cheese factory was a lot of fun. 90 min to Oregon Coast Aquarium. We would definitely love to come back and stay here again!

Excellent EVERYTHING

This house, I mean where do I begin…was amazing. Modern, clean, every appliance imaginable, fireplace, two TVs, and this house is obviously newer development, I mean it was a dream. The communication with the property manager Sarah was easy and efficient, Sarah made sure everything was perfect and she made herself available if needed, but nothing to need, this house is equipped and is in a great location. Our kids were loving the house so much we barely got them out to sightsee. Book with confidence, it was easy and you won’t want for anything.

Reviewer Comments: My work crew and myself needed a place to stay in Netarts while we working on a house and the Ocean Highlands house had literally everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked, home was very clean, well appointed and the location was perfect. The materials for the job we working on didn't come on time, and we had to call Monica hoping we could could change the dates of our stay. She was not only accommodating, she was understanding and we were able to reschedule for a couple of weeks later. It ended up snowing during the time we were there and we needed to extend our stay another night. Not only was Monica helpful, she allowed for a later check out so we could leave after the ice started melting. We are hoping to use Shore Thing Rentals again during the course of work on this house over the next four months, and, as it's a relative's house we are working on, when we come to visit. Monica, you made this stay great and easy to see where we'd like to book with in the future. Thank you for all you do!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Oh my gosh, first of all, Monica saved our end of summer mini-vacay, 100%! We had booked somewhere else and then gotten ghosted. I reached out to Shore Thing and Monica went above & beyond to hold us a spot, pending the termination of our original ghosting agency. Once the original lodging was fully canceled, Monica set us up with a BEAUTIFUL home in Netarts. Everything was/appeared to be brand new, impeccably clean, classy, fully stocked,and ready for our family of 4, (2 adults and 2 older teens). The home was just off of the highway but we couldn't hear a peep from inside. The fireplace was warm, the beds were super comfy, and kitchen was perfect for our meal preps while visiting at the same time. My hubby loved the HUGE double sink area in the master bath. It allowed us to both get ready for the day at the same time. The only drawbacks to this property were the lack of ocean view and the small size of the back patio. The proximity of the property to the nearest town and beach, made up for it all, AND it's backed up to the woods, which we loved. It gave us that remote, fresh, wild, clean, Oregon feel that we longed for, (since my husband and I are both removed Oregon natives).Absolutely 5 star experience, all of the way. The hosts were available as needed, but, we didn't end up needing a thing. These ladies had all bases covered before we arrived! Monica, we still claim to owe you a margarita, but will save that for our next stay! 😉 We can't thank you enough! Sorry for the delayed review!

Spotless and comfortable house on the coast

Reviewer Comments: We rented this house on short notice as our house is being remodeled and was not suitable for receiving house guests. the house is spacious and we had more than enough room to spread out with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The hairdryer was missing, but the property manager, who was very responsive, brought one over within 1/2 hour. Everything was very clean and looked new. There is a small patio out back. The only thing missing is a view of the ocean, but it is not far and we enjoyed hiking in the area.
