The big issue with this property is to actually find the door to the condo. Although the condo number is a first floor number it is in fact on a second floor thru double door. It took my wife and I about 45 mins to find the condo entrance. There was no one at the front desk to help even though they were supposed to be open for another 45 mins. Other than this issue it was a very nice condo to stay in.

Great Summer Stay at Mike’s Inn

Mike’s Inn at The Pinnacle Inn in Beech Mountain is an amazing spot year-round. The room was cozy, clean, and perfect for relaxing. The area around the inn is absolutely stunning, with lots of great opportunities to enjoy nature. I had a fantastic time and can’t wait to go back!

Park near the tennis courts and walk up the stairs, through the door and the condo is the first on the left. Text your group the gate code and 11 digit door code before you go up the mountain. The cell service is very weak so it took forever to access it.This condo is good for 2 people only. No more! There are only 2 bar stools, one couch, and one outdoor chair. The bed was comfortable and the hot tub was hot.

Oz Fall Festival stay

Hard to find the condo on the premises. Weird layout of the units. Great overall location. Clean. Stovetop was hard to operate, too long of a code to get door to unlock.

No frills, but Good

It's a simple no frills place, but a good place. The room was very clean and there were tons of towels. We had a hard time finding the unit in the dark since it was on the backside and there was not a map. The pool and hot tub area was really nice. The shower water pressure in the shower was great! There were a few little things that would have made it nicer; those recommendations were made to the property.

Is what it is

We needed a place asap for an emergency job in beech mountain. It’s cheap and it did the job. It was relatively clean, but the whole condominium could use upgrades not just this room. The check in process was bs, didn’t get the room number or code because I didn’t get the memo I had to do a verification process via email. Finally got the info after I had to explain 5 times to someone from overseas.it says it sleeps 4, but there’s a bed and a pullout couch with no extra blankets. Had to use towels from the bathroom as covers.

NO AC

If you’re from the south, keep looking, NO AC! Was very warm, did get cooler about 3am but hot until then. No spare towels, had 2 towels and 2 wash cloths for two people for 3 nights! No bath mat or of course no extra towel to use as a bath mat. Living room sofa supposed to make a bed but it’s broken, doesn’t turn into a bed. Don’t get me started on how hard the condo was to locate. Up a flight of stairs behind double doors took over 30 minutes to locate and no one there to help. 15 steps to haul your luggage up. Booking service was great, however condo not so much. Would not recommend, owners need to do a better job!

Nice unit, outside needs clean up and work

The unit itself was clean and well kept but didn't have coffee carafe to make coffee. Outside desperately needed clean up from construction and repair of upstairs double door to area.

Couch bed was nasty stained pad, no blankets, full of food crumbs. Someone’s old razor left in bathroom. Rented for 4 people, got 2 towels

Love The Mountains

The condo was just right and as advertised. Very clean and recently remodeled with new furnishings and appliances. So many amenities we couldn’t do them all in two days! Pool and hot tub were spotless! Our only issues were with finding the unit. The units are not numbered in order and change with elevation of the building. Need better instructions. Also construction in or section made the hallway a mess.

Great Mountain top condo with all the amenities.

We stay at the Pinnacle Inn twice a year, one time the wife and kids, and one time just the wife and I. Each trip we stay in different condos, ( 2 BR with entire family) and (1 BR for wife and I). This condo was perfect for the wife and I. Totally new paint and very very clean! It has a super neat digital stove top and small pull out dishwasher, both of which I've never seen any other like it before. You have access to spa, indoor pool (which was way warmer this year!) sauna, and games. Always see tons of deer walking around, nice people, nice atmosphere, and fun place to stay. We will be back at Pinnacle Inn in November (we will need 2 BR then) and I hope that it comes close to being as nice as this condo is. Definitely would recommend and I will look for and stay in the same one again next trip that I need a 1 bedroom condo there.

Clean place but very hard to find, tv in front room only let you see spectrum news, refrigerator making very loud noises, one overhead light (only light in the room) with broken pull chains, hard for older people to reach, communications with messages only and nothing gets done this way because on reply took 7 hours. Never will use vacasa again if at all possible. Waste of time and money

Could have had the basic necessities better stocked

The building was hard to find because of the outside numbering. There were only towels for one person and we were two, which was remedied by staff the next day. The floors were pretty dirty and the couch hideaway smelled of urine. There was only one trash bag for a stay of four days. There is NO air conditioning in this unit. The TV worked fine and the ceiling fans helped with the July heat.

Too cold

Negatives: too.cold. 1 heater only in living room. Bedroom and hallway freezing cold. Had to move to living room to sleep. No extra sheets for pull.out couch even after great communication. Nothing was done. Apt.number was hard to find. Behind green doors?! Really. Ahihld have posted more aigns on the green doors.. Who would have known that? Lucky we asked people who walked our way. Positive: great communication (but nothing was done). Great location. I like the 2 sleeping room options.

Clean unit. Well described.

Nice unit. Vacasa mgmt was challenging for me to communicate with as they want you to create an account on their app to get all the information you need for your visit, which was clunky for just a weekend.. the unit did not have coffee or coffee supplies, no salt, no trashcan in the bathroom, and no bathmat. It did have toilet paper and paper towels, a clean, sponge soap, shampoo, dish soap, and 2 sets of clean towels. The unit is a pretty good walk from the parking lot and either one or two steep flights of stairs, up or down, which are tricky when it snows and there’s icy snow on the steep stairs. The unit is newly updated with new appliances and other touches. It’s nice and overall worth the price.

Disappointed

Stayed many times in these condos at the pinnacle. This particular place was not very clean upon arrival. The tv remotes didn’t have batteries. Only two very small pillows in the place. I reached out a few days before and asked for early check in. Never got a response. All good. I reached out about a pillow and batteries. Manager said “an order was placed”. 24 hours later we went and bought our own batteries. On the second night some sort of power flicker kept resetting the stove top all night giving off a loud set of beeps that kept me up most the night. Location is great.
