Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cottage, perfectly located near everything. This hidden gem is less than 5 minutes from East Beach and may be the best kept secret in town. Nestled on a beautifully wooded lot directly in the heart of town, this home features plenty of space for a family of 6. Yet it's cozy enough for a simple getaway for 2. Or perhaps you're looking for that unique workspace that takes you far from work. Either way, Aunt Sandy's Place is YOUR place to quietly escape!

A gravel driveway takes you to a pristine spot just behind the trees. There you’ll find a lovely 2 bedroom home with an open floor plan that feels so much bigger. The spacious kitchen and family room are intelligently designed with comfort in mind. But the wraparound porch is the gem of it all. It’s where you’ll have your coffee in the morning and a relaxing glass of wine at night.

Guests will have full access of everything. This includes all pots and pans, cookware, dishes, silverware, cups, wine glasses, everything. There’s even an electric wine opener for you to enjoy. After all, you’re on vacation. No need to strain your hands opening bottles.

I am always available during your stay. Whether it be directions to a restaurant that you’ve heard about or advice on where to find the best crawfish, a quick message to me will be answered with a timely response. We love our city and we love sharing it with our guests.

This home is located at the end of a quiet dead end street. In fact, you wouldn’t even know it was there if not for the mailbox marking the driveway. The property backs up to beautiful Davis Bayous Area Gulf Islands National Seashore.

Parking is available right outside your front door. You may also choose to get around via a street legal golf cart that can be rented in downtown Ocean Springs. Uber is also available should you choose not to drive.

This property offers self check in by way of a lock code. So you’ll be able to access our home at your convenience. Late check ins are not an issue.

Great weekend retreat

Our family of five really enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. The cottage has a very secluded feel and was very quiet. The owner was very attentive to our needs and house is convenient to a nice public beach and to the old downtown district. Highly recommend this great property!

Aunt Sandy’s

What a wonderful home. We enjoyed our stay immensely. We loved sitting on front porch and watching the birds and the squirrels play in the trees. We saw many Gulf Coast Turtles out front and enjoyed watching them walk by the porch. We had an issue with the house but Kenny dealt with it immediately and we were not inconvenienced. Kenny responded quickly to any emails and was always pleasant. Highly recommended this property to anyone going to Ocean Springs. Beach short drive away as is many great restaurants.

With the tourism that the area brings, we constantly get the opportunity to meet new friends from all over. And we love to share our quaint little area with others. So hosting is a natural fit with the things that we love to do. We also have very high standards of what we expect when we travel. We expect a clean place to stay, comfort, and value. And as ambassadors of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, we pride ourselves in offering these things to our guests.

As local residents, we love experiencing what the coast has to offer. Whether it be live music (which we love), local cuisine, the natural beauty of the area, or simply the laid back attitude of the people, there's just nothing quite like this place anywhere else. And we love sharing these things with visitors from all over. You will never find hosts who care more about your satisfaction than us.

Aunt Sandy's Place truly is a unique home. It is situated in such a way that you'd never know it was even there. But it's truly in the heart of the city. Travel 2 miles south to enjoy the beauty of Front Beach. Or travel less than 2 miles west and enjoy everything that downtown Ocean Springs has to offer.

Or perhaps you are looking for a central location as a "home base" to explore the region. Perhaps a day trip to the French Quarter in New Orleans is of interest. After all it's less than 100 miles from Aunt Sandy's Place. Ever been to Pensacola Beach? A 2 hour drive from Aunt Sandy's Place will place your toes on the sugar white sand beach.

Or maybe you're just looking for that special space to escape from it all. Aunt Sandy's lovey front porch is the perfect respite. Curl up with a book or simply watch the warm breezes through the trees. Either way Aunt Sandy's truly is tranquil and relaxing, and is the perfect place to recharge.

The large wraparound porch is where it begins. Offering the perfect space for friends and family to sit, relax, and reconnect. Yet also the perfect spot to pour your favorite drink and simply take in the natural beauty of the surroundings. Whether it's your first cup of coffee to start the day or your favorite glass of wine to end it, the front porch is truly where you want it to begin and to end your day.

And when you enter the front door you're immediately greeted by a beautifully designed open floor plan that feels like home. The open kitchen, with its lovely large island is the centerpiece of it all.

The large master suite is so well designed and comfortable. Expect the best night's sleep of your life. And if you do have to put in a little work while you're here, a dedicated workspace is located in this space with high speed internet to help you get it wrapped up quickly so that you can get back to relaxing.

The large shower in the master bathroom will help wash all of your cares away. And the large vanity with plenty of storage will help you hide your clutter. A hair dryer is also included so you won't have to over pack.

The second bedroom features a comfortable full size bed. There is also a day bed with a hideaway trundle for those extra guests.

And finally... LOCATION! Less than 2 miles from everything that Ocean Springs is famous for, you'll be in the heart of it all, yet far away from the hustle. Aunt Sandy's Place is truly a place that you need to experience for yourself.
