The location of the house was excellent for our bourbon tours around the area. The house was in excellent shape and very clean. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit.

Great Stay on the Bourbon Trail

We stayed here as a good central point to take in Louisville and the Bourbon Trail, and the place was a great stay! We had plenty of space for everyone in the house, it was very close to downtown Louisville, and the house was close to everything we needed. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Our group of 6 greatly enjoyed staying in this wonderfully renovated house. We spent the evening in the backyard sitting around the fire pit and the mornings on the front porch enjoying our coffee. Location was great for local restaurants and we felt very safe in the neighborhood

Great place, close to plenty to do

We stayed here visit local breweries and distilleries. This was a great location for visiting both, with lots of local restaurants as well.

We had an awesome family vacation in Louisville. We were able to easily get to all the sites and this space gave us a perfect home base. Four bedrooms and 2.5 baths made it very comfortable for our group of 6 adults and 2 kids. This house is walking distance to some very nice coffee/bakery shops, restaurants, breweries and more. And short drive to downtown. We loved our time together and would stay here again!

Great home base for a visit to Louisville

The house was perfect for 5 friends visiting Louisville! The house was clean, beds were comfortable, and just a great space. Neighborhood had many restaurants and bars within walking distance, and Whiskey Row was a quick and easy Uber ride away. I would stay here again!

Great House and Perfect Location

The house was great for our weekend adult getaway. Slept four couples very comfortably. House was clean, modern and would stay here again. So close to Nulu which was a great area to visit.

It was very cold in Louisville when we were there. None of the mini split heaters worked upstairs. James was very attentive and got someone out there to look at them but they couldn’t fix them. We had to switch bedrooms and move the baby downstairs because it was so cold. Otherwise we had a nice stay. The sofa is not the most comfortable in the sitting area and there was teach intern the pieces of sofa.

Family Stay

My family enjoyed the property during our stay! Loved the fire pit. We did find the house could get very warm due to little insulation, but this isn’t uncommon for an older home. Overall a great stay!

Great place, great host, great experience!

The host was easy to communicate with, and the house was exactly as listed. Perfect for the four of us traveling to have our own bedroom and space to unwind. The back yard was awesome for evening gatherings, and the location of the house made it easy to get downtown as well as to and from the airport!

The property location was great. The neighborhood was quiet and there was a good, safe, green space in the backyard. There were a couple issues that needed to be addressed and the owner was responsive in helping us. The grill needs to be replaced before others plan to use it. The basement was a bonus surprise with a ping pong table and shuffle board.

A portion of our profits go to support local charities, including the center for women and families and the local homeless coalition. When you stay with us you help the most vulnerable in Louisville. Our latest outreach program includes packing food totes for Louisville’s homeless population. We pass these out on our daily property visits.
The more guest visits = more food for our homeless community.
We also do drop offs of personal care items to the Healing Place of Louisville -
The Healing Place was founded in 1989 as a homeless shelter and medical clinic for men (& currently women as well).
Every day they provide food, clothing, and shelter at no cost to more than 600 clients seeking help for their addictions.

The charming PAYNE STREET PADDOCK offers a large king bedroom with an ensuite full bath on the 1st floor.
Upstairs you will find 3 more bedrooms and a sleeping nook and an additional full bath. Each bedroom upstairs contains their own mini split AIR CONDITIONER AND HEATER for ultimate comfort!!
There is also an extra half bath/powder room on the main floor for convenience!
