Great place to land

Wonderful little gettaway cotrage tucked in the woods on Lake Nokomis. Super clean and well appointed. Hosts answered all questions promptly and accurately. Fish weren't biting but hopefully they will be next time!

Nice location and clean

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The place was clean and fit our needs nicely. The private boat launch was a plus but the pier to tie our fishing boat to was not usable because it was 4 ft above the water.

Cozy cottage

The cottage was perfect for our family of 4 while ny husband worked on a house just down the road. The owners were fantastic when the power went out due to snow. We enjoyed our stay. And will be back. Thank you for your hospitality!

Fall weekend retreat

Nicely decorated, cozy, serene spot for a long weekend. Comfortable beds and extra blankets provided. Easy check in process. The home itself is stair free but the walkway to the entrance is not so bear that in mind if you have mobility issues. The area was beautiful and we enjoyed the peak colors.

November fall ride weekend

Enjoyed our stay at this cute cottage. Quiet and clean and perfect for a long weekend. Fire pit and screen porch was nice to use. Bathroom was large and towels were plentiful. Only opportunity for a better stay was the fact there are only 2 forks left in the kitchen. Easily fixable. Thanks again!

Lake Nokomis visit

The cottage was very neat and orderly. The only drawback to the property is that that there is no access to the lake. The cottage is advertised as being on Lake Nokomis, but in reality the cottage is behind a house that is on Lake Nokomis.

Peaceful Property close to the lake

When we arrived after a long day of traveling accessing the property was a breeze. The property was clean and ready for our stay, they have a nice patio area outside that we fully enjoyed after work each night of our stay. The area was peaceful and quiet and the walk to the lake was short. We were surprised by the lack of mosquitos and other bugs being so close to the lake and nestled amongst mature trees and wooded areas. they really did a great job with this property. Our project ended up running over an extra day and the process to add additional time onto our stay was easy as well. overall 10/10 Recommend this property. I will definitely be keeping this property in mind for future visits to the Tomahak area.

Technical issues

We were not able to stay here because of technical issues with VRBO. Ken, the owner, was super helpful in making sure that everything was refunded to me. I was very thankful.

Perfect Getaway

We were looking for a place to unwind, relax and get some fishing in. We achieved all of that. The house was very clean. It's a great layout with nice upgrades. The washer and dryer meant we didn't need to pack a ton of clothes. The kitchen had dishes, pots, pans, small appliances, utensils, dishes, glasses and flatware. There was also a large table for family style dinners. The lication is off the beaten path. It is surrounded in trees and right next to the lake. I brought my own boat and was able to get it oin the water right away. The property has their own launch and a dock. Well I did quite a lot of fishing from the boat, the wife and I tried fishing off the dock in the evening and had great luck there as well. The house is actually on a small inlet or you may call it a Bay… So it's calm and protected from the larger part of the lake. Our stay up there was just about perfect and I would definitely go back there again. They really know how to set up a rental right… We never had a situation where we needed some thing and it wasn't in the cottage. As an extra benefit you're surrounded by wildlife everywhere. We saw eagles, deer and a blue salamander was our friend that lived just outside of the three seasons room. :)

Remote Getaway

My wife and I stayed here for a week of decompression after the school year was out. It provided the quiet and nature we needed. We met the owner and he gave us a tour of the larger house as well. Everything is nicely done. The sheets and towels are very good quality.

Perfect Lake Home

The kids and I had the best time at this lake house. Is exactly like the pictures..and even better in person. Location is perfect and so peaceful and relaxing. Fishing, kayaking, boating and hiking all so much fun. The owner is wonderful! This place is special and we can't wait to go back!

Very clean; great cabin!

Very clean cabin with everything you could need. Felt spacious and comfortable. Direct access to the lake for snowmobiling. Great WiFi signal if you are working and playing. Bring k-cups as the coffee maker is a keurig. Would recommend!

We love to get away to beautiful shores of Lake Nokomis and make memories with family and friends enjoying all the amazing and diverse outdoor sports this area has to offer. After purchasing a second home in the area, we wanted to share the home and experience with other guests and turned it into a part time vacation rental. There is such a wonderful feeling hearing from our guests about the memories they made while staying at our cottage. We setup this vacation rental to help make every family's dream of a peaceful, relaxing, and adventurous getaway as close to perfect as possible.
