Beautiful spacious lake home. with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. This home has an awesome deck and Great Lake views from the living room. Plenty of space for big families and friend groups. Enjoy the lake.
Great for winter activities too, snowmobile trails and ice fishing.
Great for girls' weekends away, small group retreats, quilting, crafting, and much more.

Just right

Worked perfectly for what we needed! The house had plenty of space for our entire group and was well-suited for a comfortable stay. It seems like a lovely spot overall, but unfortunately, we weren’t able to enjoy the lake or outdoor amenities due to the weather. Would love to return and experience more of what this place has to offer!

Great place to stay

We loved our stay at this property. We had great fishing success which is a plus for this group. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds comfy and the seating options plentiful. We really enjoyed the table on the porch. We ate all our meals out there and generally hung out playing games abd chatting. Would definitely consider for future trios.

Awesome Lake house.

Was an awesome place to stay. Host was Great! The property was well appointed with everything we needed to stay for a week.Beds were extremely comfortable. Loved the lake and the deck was were we spent all our evenings. Best VRBO we have rented. Will definitely stay there again on our next trip to MN. Thank you Carole, your lake house was a jewel.

Family getaway

The cabin worked great for our family as there was plenty of space for everybody. Nice big kitchen to prepare meals which was nice as there was 8 of us. The kayaks were an added plus and the fire pit next to the lake was nice. The noise from the cars on the highway was pretty loud but not bad down by the lake.

Friends weekend

9 of my friends and I stayed at this cabin to celebrate a birthday and an excuse to all get together. The cabin was perfect and we all had plenty of space. The deck was our favorite part especially at night under the lights.

Great location and clean home

We had a wonderful stay in this home. It was clean and cute - very comfortable for our group of 10. The kitchen was well stocked with all the appliances, dishes and cookware we needed. There is not laundry available, but since we knew that going in, we were packed appropriately. I would definitely come back. This was a fantastic vacation.

31st birthday

My friends and I rented this property for a birthday D&D weekend and it was amazing. Clean and comfortable there was plenty of space for us to sleep and socialize. The property managers were very responsive and good to work with. Would definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a fun family of friend get together.

Gals Getaway-5 gals who do these trips 2x a year or more

The setup worked well for our group. Kitchen was functional for fixing meals together. We brought a deep-dish pie pan, Pyrex cake pans, individual pizza pans, rolling pin, and wooden spoon. (We asked the host about available pans/utensils, so we knew what we needed to bring for our menus. Kitchen tools/utensils are adequate for basics, but not everything we needed.) There were ample coffee cups, wine glasses, large plates, flatware, and basic stove cookware. We didn't use any of the small appliances (toaster, griddle, crock pot). It was unseasonably warm, so it was a challenge cooling off without air conditioning, but we managed. After dusk, the screens didn't keep bugs out, so we didn't play any games. The wind and fire risk didn't allow for having a fire pit outside. We adapted and instead had conversations in the living room with just a few low lights on. The property is clean & comfortable and we liked it. Only drawbacks were the screens not keeping bugs out, no light over the large table, and needing to bring or own pyrex pans for breakfast casseroles/cinnamon rolls. We LOVED the porch with the excellent breezes and views of the lake. The only negative feedback is the need for better screens so the windows can be open at night and broom/dustpan for tidying up. (We like to clean up after ourselves, but did not find adequate cleaning supplies to take care of basics.) The host was very responsive to all our questions.

A nice oasis on the lake

Our stay at this well-maintained property was fantastic. From the moment we arrived we were blown away by the stunning modern interior which created a warm and inviting atmosphere. We were also pleasantly surprised by how spacious the home was and it easily accommodated our large group. The cleanliness of the place also stood out. It was evident the hosts take great pride in making sure every nook and cranny was spotless. This amenities were also awesome. We loved being able to grill and hang out on the porch. There was also a nice large table that allowed us to all sit and comfortably eat outside. We were able to fish off the private dock and enjoyed using the kayaks to go out into the water. At night, we made use of the fire pit area to make s’mores. This place is also very kid friendly, and to our surprise it had a lot of fun board games for our kids to play. Lastly, the host was amazing. Whenever we had any questions, Carole was quick to respond and with excellent communication we felt truly welcome before our trip even began. Overall, we cannot recommend this property enough. The combination of the gorgeous, spacious property, cleanliness, location, and the host’s exceptional service made our stay unforgettable. Whether you’re a large group or smaller party seeking comfort and adventure, this place has it all. The ONLY con is my wife now wants to redo the interior of our own home to be similar to this place.

Bachelorette stay

This lake home is absolutely beautiful! Carole was incredibly helpful and communicative the entire process! Checking in was super quick and easy. It was a group of 9 of us and there was more than enough room and it didn't feel like we were climbing all over each other the whole time. I would absolutely recommend this place for your next family gathering or even just a romantic weekend away.

Beautiful fall getaway!

The views of the lake and the fall trees at the house on Big Pine Lake were fantastic. We loved the gorgeous sunrises in the morning and lakeside campfires in the evening. The house was well equipped and decorated. It provided all the comforts of home. We visited a couple Apple orchards nearby and had a wonderful and memorable weekend! We appreciate the service and care we were shown by our host. We’ll be back!
