House is advertised as smart.The host did have the cameras on the first night and they came and took them out at some point the next day when we were not there.That did not put us at ease.The camera in the pool area was not appreciated and we unplugged it when we finally saw it half way through our stay.The plugs were so overused with 'smart' equipment in the various rooms that it was difficult to use the bathroom plugs and bedroom plugs. When we unplugged the speakers and tried to turn on the lights, they flashed nonstop.It was terrible.The house was filthy.There was hair and dust in the corners and on the floor everywhere.The floors have rugs over transition areas and wires,an osha nightmare.The kitchen was next level.At first glance it appears okay.Open the fridge and it stunk.There was condiments that were a mystery and the entire door was filled.There was also food in the fridge and freezer.The cabinets were a hot mess and full.The pots and pans were just thrown in the cabinet and you really couldn't tell what was dirty and what was clean.The towels provided were frayed and had stains on them.The sheets in the primary bed had rips on them.The pool area was comfortable but worn.My teenagers discovered marijuana roaches in their tin in the pool area.personal clothing in the office.packages arrive for the owners daily and they pick them up.it felt as if we were staying in someone's dirty old house and not as if we were in a rental for reserved 3 weeks
