A well appointed condo. Nice that each bedroom had its bathroom unsweet. And the master even had a two-piece bathroom. All very functional. There was a countertop ice maker which worked well. We cooked in so ran the dishwasher every day and there were plenty of plates and silverware. We loved the happy hour at the Lakeview hotel. 5:00 to 6:30. Very cheap drinks and appetizers which were huge and delicious. We also utilized the grills and watched sunset over Lake Bellaire one evening and there were bathrooms that stay open until 9:00 p.m. it was fun having a patio that was right on the golf course. And it was next to the tennis courts. We were able to watch the golfers and tennis players each morning while having coffee and watching the turkeys cross the greens . A pair of white breasted nut hatches apparently live out there as well so there is a little bit of burning to be had. There was an outdoor pool open till 10:00 and indoor pool and hot tub open till 11:00 and another hot tub in the fitness center open till 10:00 p.m. that we did not utilize because we're having so much fun exploring the area we never made it back to that!

Great stay on an Arnold Palmer course

The condo was excellent. Walking distance to main resort hotel and pro shop. The private beach on lake Bellaire was great! Good property with awesome amenities at a reasonable price.

Great snowy stay in Bellaire

We stayed in shanty creek at another great vrbo condo in the fall, and wanted to come back for holiday break with the family to introduce our 6 year old to skiing and were not disappointed. We used the indoor pool, and hotel cafe right in our condo area, sledded directly behind the condo unit on fresh powder with all 3 kids, and drove to nearby resort at cedar river to rent gear and ski. Condo layout was perfect for our 2 adult 3 kid family, especially easy loading/unloading from car to door for this unit. Owners responded quickly to a couple questions even during the main holiday stretch. Great all in all.

Summer Vacation

The condo was clean and as described. We all had fun. It was unfortunate that the washer was not working but definitely still worth the stay. Host was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again. Perks of the pool and beach were a plus.

A Shanty Creek gem

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is updated and fresh. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed when cooking. We had a wonderful vacation and would definitely rent this property again!

Relaxing weekend away!

We had the best weekend away. It was relaxing, clean, spacious, and fun. There’s skiing, tubing, a pool and hot tub and some restaurants walking distance away. We are excited to come back and experience it in the summer time! Definitely recommend

Great place at Summit

Very nice place that is just as it looks in pictures. I have stayed in a number of the condos at Shanty Creek’s Summit village before and this was the best by far. Would definitely stay again. The beds were the best part, super comfortable!

October golf getaway

We hadn’t visited Shanty Creek Resort in 10+ years, so opted going here for our annual northern Michigan golf trip. We selected this particular property among others on VRBO mostly based on the bedroom setup (including TV’s in all rooms) and the living area configuration. Walk in shower in the master was also a plus. The unit was as described on the website and well stocked with essentials. If returning to Shanty Creek again, we’d stay here again.

Golf/boating weekend

Great weekend- condo is very well equipped. Great location in Shanty Creek. The owners provided detailed information in advance making the check a breeze.
