Un complejo de cuatro estaciones con 72 hoyos de golf de campeonato en cuatro campos (Cedar River GC, The Legend, Schuss Mountain GC y Summit GC), 53 pistas de esquí en dos montañas (Schuss Mountain y Summit Mountain), 30 km de esquí de fondo , un parque de tubos alpinos de 6 carriles, paseos en trineo de invierno y los parques de terreno más premiados de Michigan. Ande en bicicleta o camine en los 4.500 acres del complejo o explore la pista única del cercano sistema de senderos Glacial Hills. Great location

We stayed for a short Labor Day getaway and this place was perfect. Our sons had a blast and we felt that there was something to do for the entire family. The host was easy to reach and very hospitable. We would certainly stay here again!

Summer stay

Loved staying in this condo! The location was perfect. Close to the clubhouse, pickleball, the main hotel pools, and the bars/restaurants. The condo itself was clean and had everything we needed. The host was beyond helpful and even refunded us two days when we had to leave early. 100% recommend this property.

Great location-felt like home

Kari was the best host! Checking on us to make sure we had everything, super responsive on any of our communication! A bit of a tv issue that she worried about far more than we did until it was fixed. We have it booked for next summer. Loved it❤️

Everything was perfect

Was an awesome stay, the condo had plenty of room and beds were comfortable. The place was clean and was welcoming. Me and my family enjoyed everything. Also being able to walk to the pool and even grabbing a bite was awesome. Also the host was awesome, answered all my questions and made everything easy. Definitely a place I would recommend

Fun weekend

Totally enjoyed our stay! The condo had everything we needed for the weekend. Kids loved walking out the doorwall to sledding right outside! Great view! Beds were comfy and furniture was too!! Thanks for sharing your place with us!

Retro Ski Cottage

We truly enjoy our visit to the beautiful “Retro Ski Cottage/Condo.” Keri, the owner, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. There were so many special touches...the water pitch filled, ice tray filled, plenty of paper products, kitchen fully stocked, etc. You literally have to just bring your beach towel and yourself and relax. The decor is very pretty and comfortable. The place is clean, bright and updated. It was a wonderful vacation and we highly recommended this unit.

Beautiful condo and spacious!

The condo was very spacious, clean, and a great location at Trappers condos, At The Summit. You could walk to the hotel and local shops (Restaurant, Shanty Bar, and convenience store). Laundry in the condo available to our use was wonderful as we had wet clothes from snow activities. The indoor pool and sauna access at the hotel was great too. We had lunch from the hotel overlooking Lake Bellaire and it was a breath taking view. Tubing at the Summit was a lot of fun with kids. The condo was recently renovated and nicely updated. The decorating , bedding, and finishes were all nicely done. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and cozy. I would highly recommend this unit and would stay again.

Meeting up w/ friends

Because of covid there were no chairs in the pool area. Most of the restaurants & shops were closed also because of covid. Master bedroom sink doesn’t drain. Owner didn’t respond to questions calls or text messages.

Exactly how it is described

We stayed July 6th-9th 2018 and it was wonderful! I had several questions and the owner Keri responded quickly and answered everything. Kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, measuring cups, mixing bowls, silverware, coffee cups, cups, tin foil, ziplocks, cleaning supplies, washcloths...pretty much everything! The beds were so comfortable with down mattress toppers. Each bedroom has an updated beautiful bathroom attached. The best thing was that there were 2 showers, definitely a must. The only thing I will mention is when we got to the condo, there were 2 doors (475 & 476). We were confused as it looks like 475 is a whole different condo! Just to clarify, both doors enter the same unit and the key is for door on the unit 475, but the lockbox is on 476. Another thing to note was if you book through VRBO.com and not through the actual Shanty Creek Resort, you will not have access to the gym. We had 6 people so the gym was nice enough to let us buy a 7 visit pass ($35) and we all could use a punch. All in all the condo was beautiful, in a great location, and very accommodating. Only about 10 minutes from Torch Lake as well! Will definitely stay here again when I come to this side of town.

Nice Condo / Summit Ski Bust

The condo I rented was well equipped and reasonably clean. The summit mountain ski closure was a big let down. The resort is very deceptive about this point. Local radio advertising constantly states both mountains are 100% open. I will never be back and I will discourage others from giving them business.

Shanty Creek Resort

The resort property was very nice and well kept. It was very large and spread out. The apartment we rented was very nice. All amenities were provided and in good condition. It was nice to have a washer and dryer available to use right also. The only negative I have is the cleanliness of the floor. The tops of my 1 year old daughters feet and her knees were black from her crawling on the floor after only being there for 20 minutes. We ended up finding a mop and mopping the floors. The cleaning people also don't move anything when they sweep. Under the beds were filthy. Other than that we had a great time there and would probably stay there again.

We absolutely loved the place very clean and very nice decorated!! The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is furnished with everything u need!! We would definitely stay here again!! Lovely Property!

This was a great property for our golf getaway at Shanty, fits 2 couples perfectly. Very nicely decorated, bathroom updates are beautiful! Comfy beds, easy in and out, Kari was a great communicator. We used the pool, which was nice. The only thing I’d note is that we missed having paper towel, Kleenex and little bar soaps. Not a deal breaker, just unfortunate. Otherwise everything was wonderfully appointed:) Thanks for a great stay!
