The Teal Turtle Retreat

The Teal Turtle has it all! It is a perfect spot to enjoy Rockport whether you fishing, enjoying the beach or just need to relax. This beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house features a canal/boat dock, private pool and plenty of outdoor entertaining space. Visit historic downtown Rockport or Rockport Beach, just 10 minutes away.

Inside this beautiful home you will enjoy the spacious living room, large kitchen and dining area. The spacious master bedroom has a plush king bed, 50" smart TV and a spa style bathroom. Hall bedroom has a queen bed and 50" smart TV. The bunkroom has a full over full bunk bed with a twin trundle plus a 50" smart TV. Both rooms share a hall bathroom.

Located downstairs in the foyer is a work station (30" monitor, keyboard & mouse) plus a futon couch that converts into a bed, 50" smart TV and a full bathroom.

Enjoy all the outdoor amenities this home has to offer! Whether it is a family vacation, fishing trip or girl's trip we got you covered. Outdoor amenities include a boat dock - easy access to Copano Bay and Salt Lake, fish cleaning station and use of crap traps. Hanging out, grilling and making drinks more your style! We got it – Relax and take a swim in the private pool, grill you favorite foods on the Weber gas grill and make your favorite libations at the bar area. End of the day go relax and watch the coastal sunset off the porch.

Great Rockport retreat.

We had a great fall getaway. The house was very clean. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, dishes and utensils. Fishing is possible right off the dock. Lots to do with board games, foosball, large tvs, pool and hot tub.

Life long friends retreat

My friends and I had the best time here. We lounged by the pool, fished off the pier, grilled steak on the grill and enjoyed a quiet peaceful weekend. The home was lovely and the out door area was well done.

It is a beautiful house inside and out. The outside is set up beautifully for people with a boat. The deck, pool and outside area is fun and inviting with everything you need to have fun and relax with friends or family.

Great House and Property!

House was great! Lots of room inside and out to relax, swim, fish, play games, cook etc. The House was stocked with everything we needed. Neighborhood was clean and quiet. When/if we ever visit Rockport again we will definitely seek out this house. If I could recommend anything it would be a bigger coffee pot. Four adults with our group drink coffee and the five cup coffee maker did not work for us.

Perfect get away for the family!

We had 4 adults and 3 young children for a 3 night stay. The house was absolutely perfect!!!! The pool is awesome!! The house is new and speaks of the owner’s love for the TX gulf! It’s about a 10 min drive to the beach and stores but if you are looking for a laid back place to get away but with plenty for the kids to do, this is the place! It was cheaper than 3 hotel rooms which we would have needed for everyone. The property manager was very helpful when we encountered an unexpected problem. Highly recommended!!!

Teal Turtle Is Amazing

This house is absolutely beautiful as is the property. There were eight adults and an infant in our group and this home accommodated us beautifully. The location is fantastic. Loved the pool and being able to fish in the backyard. We can’t wait to go back. Staying at this place is a must!! 10 out of 10.

Christmas vacation

The property was generally clean and comfortable, conveniently located near town. However, it posed challenges for our 27’ center console boat due to a shallow channel, causing us to get stuck on the way to the house. Despite prior assurance that the property could accommodate our boat, we found limited docking space upon arrival. I would recommend this property for those with boats under a 12” draft who want to enjoy the amenities like the deck, pool, and house.

It was a great house!!

We enjoyed our stay at the house. The out door area and pool was great and the house was awesome!! Our family had a great time staying there. Just wished it was a little closed to town but other than that everything else was awsome!!!

Girls Trip

My friends and I were happy to have everything we could possibly need in the kitchen, all of us took turns cooking meals and that made it stress free. The pool was a little smaller than expected by the pics in the listing but we still had fun setting up our inflatable volleyball net. The outdoor bar area was perfect since we spent 90% of our time outside, and SUPER thankful for the bathroom downstairs. A couple of us fished a couple times off the dock, nothing worth keeping, but it was a really hot weekend and the water was pretty still. We usually spend our trips at the river so we did miss doing more outdoor activities (boating/kayaking), if there had been anything for us to use on the water that would have definitely bumped up our experience. Overall we had a great time and appreciate the hospitality and opportunity to stay in this home.

Family Fun at The Teal Turtle

Love the house, fishing dock and pool. We had a great time! Only negative was the landscape maintenance, grass was a foot high, but as we were leaving the Lawn Guys showed up, so it looked better as we were leaving, however the grass around the pool needs to be pulled out of the rock area. Really no complaints we had a great time! Thanks for sharing your home, it's beautiful!

The teal turtle

The teal turtle is absolutely beautiful. The home came equipped with everything you could need! Love that the home included cleaning supplies, garbage bags, dish soap. The property manager the one time we needed assistance responded immediately. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It is a car ride from the main drag of Rockport and the main road is under construction- which they cannot control. 100% would stay here again and have recommended this property to multiple friends for their trips!!!

Almost perfect

The neighboring property had tons of bamboo, so the pool needed to be netted pretty regularly. But the kids loved doing that. If the fishing in the canal would've been better I'd say this spot was perfect! The house is great! And the beds are super comfortable!! Plus great shaded parking.

Not one complaint!

We literally have nothing negative to say about this property. It suited our big family of 10 so comfortably and was still spacious enough to have more family come for the day. They really put so much thought behind making your stay an absolute unforgettable time, which is exactly how we feel. The house was beautiful and so clean, the beds were amazing, and the outdoor area is the best, from the pool, to the bar area, to the fishing dock/cleaning station. The entire family always had something to do and never got bored. We will definitely be booking another stay at this house again soon.
