The property boasts a 180 foot private fishing pier complete with everything you need for sports fishing. Large deck with outdoor dining for gathering with friends and family. Great place for everyone in the family! Our young children had plenty of space and things to do between the fishing, the game room, and even had their first kayak trips into the bay. Our fur babies loved it as well, lots of space to run around and a few jumps into the water. We saw dolphins daily, had plenty of duck visitors, and even a nightly visit from a big beautiful pelican. I had space to get some work done and then relax the night away. We caught our dinner one night off the bulkhead and caught blue crab on our last night. We were able to grill and make s’mores. Definitely a place to return to.

We enjoyed our stay. John was quick to answer our questions or concerns. Great location and very quiet! The kitchen had every item you might need. The fishing was awesome along with the dolphins. I highly recommend!

Great place to get away on the coast

This is a nice property in a great location. The fishing pier is great for spot right out the back door. We caught a lot of fish and some crab.

Great property!

We stayed here for 4 nights and had an amazing time. Finding a place to stay where we could bring our dogs, fish without bumping into other people, and have a great house to stay in is very difficult, but this property checked all of those boxes. The owner John is super friendly and helpful as well. We will definitely be back.

Quiet Paradise

We had an awesome time! I’ve been coming to Rockport since I was a young boy, It holds a very special place in my heart. The house was great, the fishing was on Fire! I literally caught several hundred speckled trout over the week i was there. The house on the bay was perfect location, what a nice spot in paradise. If you are more into the touristy things and crowds everywhere you go then this is not the place for you, but if your like me, then this place is truly paradise! Thanks again John for opening your place to us and we will be back!!

Short getaway

Great house, great fishing! Game room was so much fun for the kids. Only thing was I didn't expect the 3 bedroom to be downstairs and only accessible from the outside. But we made it work, put the teens in there so they could play anyways. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful tranquil views of Copano Bay, TX.

The house was laid out very nice with plenty of seating for 7 people. The host had excellent communication with us and gave helpful advice for our trip. Excellent views of Copano Bay and the green lights on the dock helped attract the marine life. The kayaks and paddle boards, plus the game room was an extra bonus. We had a very pleasant stay.

Calm after the storm

We arrived 2 days after major flooding from a tropical storm. John and his friend Daniel worked above and beyond to get things ready for us. This was probably our favorite house we have ever stayed in. We were immediately at home.

Renter beware!

Within 5 minutes of checking in to this property, we chose to lose our investment and go stay at another home in Rockport due to the smell. There is an obvious sewage problem at this home! The home also smelled VERY strongly of mothballs and plug-in air fresheners. It is obvious the owner is aware of the sewage problem due to the sheer amount of air fresheners plugged in! The house is NOT a 5-star property in any way. The upstairs bedrooms have beds that are about 10-12 inches off the ground. A tiny platform base and no box springs. Good luck getting up in the morning if you have any mobility issues. There were fish scales left in the sink. The BBQ grill was absolutely disgusting. I'm sure if we had stayed there any longer than 10 minutes we would have more to report, but my main concern is the owners' response to our issues. When I contacted him to ask for a partial refund due to the smells, he avoided responding to that issue and instead accused us of lowering the A/C to 65 degrees (apparently he had checked this on his phone that evening). This was a very unprofessional way to address a customer's concerns - with accusations regarding a different issue. Anyway, I told him none of us had touched the A/C (we weren't there long enough to even consider it) he later responded to my message that it was actually his house cleaners' fault. Also, this neighborhood is VERY far from town. It takes 20 minutes to get to a store or anything fun! There are much better options

We enjoyed our quick weekend stay at this nice property. The private pier was a lovely spot to chill out with a good book. It’s a short drive to Rockport. John was very responsive and a great host!

Enjoy Rockport!!

Many things to do at this home. Owner supplies great game room, kayaks and paddles for enjoying the gulf. Convenient location to town and Fulton Beach. Six of us stayed comfortably at the home. We were grateful for the time we spent at the house as a family!!!

Peaceful and Relaxing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as we took a walk down memory lane to memorialize my dad, having gone to Rockport every year as children. The location was so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. My mom and I loved sitting on the deck and listening to the water. My teenage nephew caught multiple keepers off the private dock, so he was quite content. And my brother enjoyed having his own space downstairs and that his German Shepherd got to go. We got to kayak and paddle board and have fun in the game room. Downtown Rockport and amenities were a short drive away. Just a really enjoyable vacation to get away and appreciate being on the water. Thanks again John.

Best Getaway

We had the most amazing long weekend! Everything was as pictured and very clean. We had so much fun fishing and watching the beautiful sunsets. The only problem was we had to leave and go home! We will be back!

Great Pier, Great Amenities

Booked this getaway to celebrate our October birthdays. We were not disappointed. Well, maybe with the weather, but we fished, shopped, watched the eclipse and enjoyed making memories. John was a great host with perfect communication.

Great Family Space

Relaxing Home On The Water

John is a fantastic host! His beautiful home on the water with a great fishing pier fantastic! Home is very comfortable, clean and the views, sunsets and sunrises are a must see. Highly recommend if you want to relax, fish, or play in the awesome game room downstairs. Looking forward to the next stay!

A Great Getaway!

This property had a rustic feel and was right on the waters of Copano Bay. Lots of pier fishing (day and night), kayaking, walking the neighborhood, and relaxing pretty much summarize our visit. We made several trips into Rockport to hit up HEB and Walmart for various items (about a 10-15-minute drive each way). However, that was a minor inconvenience, considering the property was on the water in a less populated Rockport. Overall, it was very enjoyable, and we would consider a return visit!
