Beautiful home! My family and I really enjoyed the comfort and relaxation of this place. Great location as well. We went to Winter park, 1hr away. As well as Echo Mountain, 35 minutes away (ski and snowboarding) Communication was 10/10 from the host, Karen. Highly recommend this place and will definitely return for future trips.

This home was in the perfect location for us as we were going to visit red rocks before heading to Denver for a wedding! Beautiful cozy, clean and spacious home. Very well stocked with all the essentials and enough supplies to get us through our three night stay!

The property was very clean and well maintained. We loved the surroundings as well - tall trees all around and no close neighbors. It’s convenient to many of the historic mining towns and ski areas. Our host was very accessible and accommodating.

Fantastic location with lots of privacy

Perfect location to Red Rocks and Golden. Very private yet close to the interstate. Beautiful, cozy cabin with lots of wildlife to see.

Enjoyable weekend get-away

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Karen, our host, was easy to work with and responsive to our questions and request. The home is spacious providing places both to gather as a family or offering refuge if all you want to do is curl around a book. It is well stocked providing most anything you'll need to enjoy a meal, a drink or a game on either of the two porches. And the hot tube, a perfect place to end the day. Truly a wonderful bonus. The only ding is the noise from I70. For the most part it wasn't noticeable by at times the serenity of the woodland setting was disrupted by a semi downshifting. That said, we would definitely look to stay at Karen's home again. It is special in so many ways.

As someone who has stayed in over 50 short-term rentals without ever experiencing a serious issue, I am disappointed to say that our stay had two significant ones.1 - The listing advertised baby gates, which was a main reason we chose this home. Upon arrival, we were informed that the gates were only for the outside deck, not the two inside staircases. Any parent would reasonably prioritize indoor safetey. We spent our entire stay worrying while monitoring the stairs.2 - The property is in a semi-remote mountain area surrounded by woods. At 9PM on our final night, a car drove up the long private driveway, turned off its headlights, and a man began walking toward the house. We were terrified and prepared to call 911. After messaging the host, they eventually confirmed it was someone there to take out the trash. The bins are in a shed attached to the house, and the noise from the collection woke a few family members along with their baby who were downstairs. My wife was in tears from the scare before the host replied back.The host dismissed our concerns, stating this was "normal operation" and they are entitled to enter the property at any time. This activity should have been communicated in advance or handled during daylight hours. No sympathy was shown for our distress, and my request for a partial refund was denied. While the house is nice, the stress caused by the host's lack of effective communication and inaccurate listing details made for a very difficult trip.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Evergreen cabin home. It was beautiful inside and out very much like the pictures. We will consider staying here again on our next trip to CO.

Awesome Home!

We stayed in this beautiful home for a week beginning on September 24, 2024. It was spectacular. The location is breathtaking. The home is gorgeous. Karen, the homeowner, was wonderful and responded to any questions that we had. For a great get-away, in a quiet and beautiful location, we highly recommend staying here.

Great time away from the bustle of the city!

I had meetings in Denver for work and I wanted to bring my family along. The commute wasn’t bad at all. Meanwhile, my family was able to relax in a serene setting away from the city. The home has beautiful views and plenty of privacy. We had a great time. Karen was very friendly and accommodating also.

Amazing place!

This house was absolutely beautiful! Huge windows everywhere and the snow is breathtaking! House is big and very clean. They even shoveled the drive way for us. We are from the south and we rented a jeep and had no trouble getting to the house. Book and you wont be dissapointed!

We had the most amazing time at this house! I love the location and the views. We saw tons of animals and got some sledding in! Karen was always available and very helpful. The games and sleds were missing and she made a special trip to buy new games and sleds and drop them off to us to help make our stay amazing! I will stay at this beautiful home again!

Good experience but hot in summer

Overall it was everything we expected. The only issue was we missed that there is no air conditioning. I’m guessing most people stay in winter. There were very few windows to open to bring in cooler air at night. I ended up staying in basement 2 of the nights because the upstairs master was just too hot. We did appreciate the bathrooms being stocked with toilet paper, hand soap, shy, etc. Also, we appreciated the kitchen having trash bags & dish soap etc.
