Wonderful Galveston Get Away

We had a wonderful stay. The house was beautifully decorated, very clean and the perfect size and setup for our group. They supplied extra beach towels and supplies for the beach which was very much appreciated. The host was very helpful and a wonderful communicator, their welcome package helped us find some great places to eat and drink. It rained almost the whole time we were there, so spent a lot of time on the couch watching movies and everyone was comfortable.

Husband and I stayed with our adult son and his dog. Perfectly located. Super cute, roomy and clean! Big kitchen. Had everything we needed including hand soap, dish soap, shampoo, towels, beach towels, welcome tray, coffee fixins, body soap - both bar and liquid. Can't think of one other thing we needed!

July 2023 Stay

The house is a perfect layout. Love the backyard space and fenced in yard. Whether you have children or pet having the fence is key. There is plenty of parking. Would rent this house again.

Amazing rental

Well stocked with necessities, cooking utensils and towels. Neighborhood is fairly quiet - occasional cars. Pool was nice and relaxing, beach is within walking distance (15 minutes), close to stores and restaurants which makes it nice. Very clean, beds are comfy and house is well maintained. Dogs loved the fenced in yard so they could enjoy vacation without a leash on the property. Must book rental if looking at a place in Galveston, better than most rentals we have stayed at. We are travelers (Stayed in all 48 states at least a week) and best stocked house we have been in.

This place, the management, the owners, are an absolute pleasure to work with. The booking was easy, and when a hurricane hit, was even easier to reschedule to accommodate another date that would work for us. The house is so clean, plenty of room for all of us, and the beds were so comfortable. The house is supplied with everything you need and the cowboy pool in the back is a perfect way to unwind from a long fishing trip or day at the Strand. It is a perfect location for everything on the island. Good luck if you book anywhere else.

Great house and location

Blue on the Q is such a great house, it had plenty of room for our whole family. It was a clean and well stocked house. So close to everything we wanted to do! Just minutes from everything on the island. Great communication with the host. Addressed and replied to all messages quickly and kindly. There are very few stairs, which was great for our grandfather and easy parking for 2-3 cars. Plenty of beds and room for all 8 of us.

Wonderful Stay

We had a great time at Blue on the Q. Lovely home and it is very comfortable. It's exactly as described and pictured. We will definitely rent again. The location is central so it's easy to get anywhere on the island. The host even sent their handy man over at 6 pm on a Sunday evening to help us get the firepit lit. We enjoyed sipping our wine on the back porch by the fire! You will not be disappointed with this home. Even my dog enjoyed her time there. Easy check-in and everything we needed was already there. Very comfortable beds and the home is well laid out so there's room for everyone to have their own space and not be on top of each other. Can't wait to book our next trip!

Beautiful home

This is probably one of the only homes we have ever stayed at that looked like the pictures and actually exceeded expectations! The home was clean, all the amenities were there and worked! There was a really nice wagon and beach chairs that we could use along with toys for the beach. None were rusted, broken, or nasty like so many other places we have stayed in the past. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a nice table where we could all sit together. The kids (and husband) loved the huge TV! We had my daughters puppy with us and thought it was so nice how the home had actual things for the dog! The location was good - only a few blocks from the Seawall and not crowded or difficult to get in and out - even though we were there over the weekend before July 4th. We will definitely be staying here again!

Loved the giant TV!!! This house was very nice and clean. They have a lot of extra amenities that I feel like other places don't think of. It really made a difference. Each bathroom comes with a toiletry set that I found very useful plus there was a welcome basket with snacks when we showed up. The owner was so helpful. She gave me great restaurant recommendations and was prompt to answer any of my questions. Will definitely be back.

We put great care into all of our properties to ensure you have a comfortable and joy filled vacation with friends or family! We have a designated workspace in case you are working while you're in town and a large TV (84 inches) so you can kick back and watch the big game at the house! This house also has plenty of outdoor furniture so you can enjoy the wonderful weather while you're here. We are also centrally located less than a mile to the Seawall and a short drive to The Strand.
