Our Barndeaux Guest House is just waiting for you to arrive. And, it's a great place to relax with the whole family or some of your friends. Located in the heart of historic Bulverde, just seconds from Bulverde Park & downtown Bulverde. We can accommodate 8 guest in our 3 bedroom 3 bath house. The perfect place to stay on the outskirts of San Antonio in the Texas Hill Country. Approximately 30 minutes from Fiesta Texas, Schlitterbahn, Guadalupe State Park & downtown San Antonio.

The house was perfect for us. The beds were really comfortable and there was plenty of room for all 5 adults. The chickens were really entertaining as well. The location was perfect, close to some restaurants and the freeway.

Perfect location for a trip to Bulverde. The place is exactly as the pictures portray. You are greeted by the chickens and roosters. You feel safe and comfortable.

I personally only stayed for 1 night, but part of my wedding party stayed an additional night. They were very pleased with the house! There was enough space for 5 adults to sleep comfortably (you can fit more especially if you put more than one to a bed) and a great common area to hang out in. The fire pit was a nice place to sit around and talk as well.

Sweet family get a way.

Great location close to amenities you want from a big city, with the pace and atmosphere of the country. Loved experiencing the Saturday Bulverde Market! Super close to the community park and 5 minute drive from the Saturday rodeo. Would certainly recommend ! Cozy house, TVs, great kitchen, and fun to enjoy morning coffee with the chickens.

Beautiful Barndue

This was very comfortable with the three bedrooms and bathrooms. Nice kitchen. Got to meet chickens, a cat and two horses. Easy access to 281 to see family in the Hill Country and south in downtown San Antonio and grocery store. Also a park nearby with a walking path and playground.

Texas get away

Perfect for our visit to Bulverde. We took a 4 day class at the Makery, which was less than 5 minutes away. Visited Harch Bakery several times, the lemon turnovers were most excellant. Was great to each have our own batrbathroom. Kitchen was well equipped. Photos on line exactly match reality.

Amazing Stay!!

Johnny & Becky Day were great hosts. The house was very accommodating and was as good or better than described online. The chickens were a lot of fun to watch. The beds were very comfortable, all 5 AC systems worked very well. The leather couches in the living area were very comfortable as well. If we are in the San Antonio area again, we will definitely stay here again. We highly recommend this house!!

The place was wonderful. Away from the middle of San Antonio so its very peaceful. But close enough to everything we wanted to see. It was a short trip but the guesthouse was great for my family and I.

60th birthday celebration

My husband’s brother’s birthday party in Bulverde was made so convenient for us and our family of 5 (w/teens). We were visiting from Seattle and had plenty of space and fun grounds to see the chickens, horses and a farm cat that loved my daughter. The party was at the brothers property 15 mins away. We enjoyed our stay! We’ll be back in the future!

We Loved the Barndeaux!

We loved staying at the Barndeaux! It was in a great, central location in the Hill Country. We were able to visit family in a number of towns and sightsee in San Antonio and the surrounding areas. The best part of the stay was the chickens and horses on the property! We loved interacting with them! HIGHLY recommend The Barndeaux!

Couldn’t ask for more

We had a great time! Everything was exactly as listed or better. Our kids had so much fun with the chickens and the horses. I only live 20 minutes away and I would book again just to stay here another time!

Hill Country Spring Break

We had the best time! Home was so clean, we were running around all day and to have fresh smelling sheets to crawl into just felt like home. The chickens, ducks, and horses on property were a hit with the whole family. We will be back for sure.

Very clean and well appointed! Super quiet and private. Chickens are fun to watch. If you park under a tree, expect to get bird droppings and sap. Highly recommend!
