Colette made us feel welcome and was very helpful. The appartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped and modern with very comfortable beds. It was only a 10 minute walk into Killarney town centre and all of the amenities and just a little further to the beautiful National Park. There are plenty of supermarkets, pubs and restaurants nearby too. An excellent stay!

The apartment was exactly as advertised. Colette is the best. She stopped by the apartment to insure we were settled in and provided insights related to the property. Additionally she gave us tips on places to visit. Prior to our stay Colette was very responsive to all of our inquiries. I would highly recommend Colette and her apartment!

This is definitely the nicest VRBO property we’ve ever stayed in. It is a brand new apartment that is spacious, beautifully decorated, with too many amenities to list. Collette is a wonderful host and we would definitely come back again.

Just what I needed

Stayed a month here and everything was great. A nice walk to downtown and great proximity to other destinations around the ring of Kerry. Colette was great.

Der Aufenthalt im Ard Kielin Appartment in Killarney war sehr schön. Die Ferienwohnung ist äußerst sauber und toll ausgestattet. Die Badezimmer sind modern. Die Ferienwohnung liegt ruhig eher am Stadtrand. Trotzdem ist man in kurzer Zeit in die Innenstadt gelaufen. Geschäfte, Restaurant und Pubs sind auch zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Vielen Dank für einen tollen Aufenthalt und den unkomplizierten Checkin!

Excellent place near heart of town

Minor confusion about the driveway - read the directions carefully and know where you're coming from and that will help (I didn't). The apartment is on the right. Beautiful place, very comfortable, everything seems brand new. En suite in both bedrooms offers great privacy. Charming host. 10 minute walk to town center which is full of restaurants and shops, or public parking right there as well (for a fee). 3 minute drive to Lidl and off-license shop so everything you need is close by. Would love to say here again.

Modern masterpiece

Colette’s place was a perfect blend of modern interior design and cozy comfort. A luxurious home in every way. Walking distance to the heart of Killarney, and quick access to the main roads for driving. We didn’t want to leave! Colette was very gracious host.

Killarney visit

We stayed in this rental for three nights at the end of our trip to Ireland . It was spacious and so clean. It was nice to be able to use the full size washer and dryer. It was quiet and comfortable. The owner Colette was very helpful.

Wonderful stay in Killarney

The Ard Kielin Apartment was a perfect home base for us in Killarney. It was just a kilometer from downtown Killarney, and a short drive to both the Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula. The VRBO host, Colette, gave us great tips for how to approach both of these iconic regions so we could make the most of our visit. The apartment offered us plenty of space, with a modern and open kitchen / dining room / living room combination, as well as two spacious bedrooms, each with their own en suite bathrooms. It worked perfectly for a trip where I traveled with my spouse and mother-in-law. Would highly recommend staying in this apartment if planning a trip to Killarney and the surrounding region. We had a great stay!

Nice quiet location

The property was clean and had all the amenities needed. Location was perfect for quick access to downtown Killarney but far enough away for some peace and quiet. The host was very nice. Highly recommend.

Great spot

We had a great stay in Killarney. The apartment was clean and spacious with plenty of amenities and extras like games and local maps and brochures. Colette was home when we arrived and very kindly showed us around the apartment along with offering suggestions for local sights. Great location with an easy walk to town. Would definitely stay again.

Walks in the amazing beauty of Killarney National Park (15 minutes from the apartment), stroll through the town (12 minutes).
Rent bikes in town to cycle to Ross Castle, Muckross Abbey and on through the National Park to Muckross House. For those who like to venture more on your bike, enjoy a cycle through the Gap of Dunloe & take the boat (must be pre booked with bikes) from Lord Brandon's cottage through the Lakes of Killarney back to Ross Castle.

The town of Killarney is only a 10-15 walk and has many restaurants and shops. It is a crazy cute town which can get lively on weekends. You'll never lack for good food, drink and music.
