Getaway with a Heated Plunge Pool and Just a Couple Minutes to the Beach
Come stay at one of the best reviewed places on the island. Easy to get to and with your own heated plunge pool, the Suncatcher Condo might just be what you're looking for! Have coffee on the balcony with a view of the boat ramp and canal. Play basketball, go for a jog, or watch your kids play at the park across the street. Be at the beach in four minutes. Or enjoy your own plunge pool, which we can heat. No matter how you want to spend time on the island, the Suncatcher is for you.
We think the Suncatcher Condo is a true gem of Padre Island and it's got everything you need to make your stay at the beach perfect.
That includes a plunge pool just for the Suncatcher Condo that sits just a few feet from the backdoor. It's great for the kids and perfect for adults. Don't let cold weather in the Fall or Winter ruin your vacation, for just $50 a day, we will heat the plunge pool to the perfect temperature to enjoy any time of the year.
We love music and have brought some of it to the Suncatcher! In the living room, you'll find a few records from our collection and a record player. Feel free to bring some of your own as well. (And we'll never object to a vinyl donation to share your music with others! :) In the cooler months, you can also enjoy the electric fireplace while listening to some music or watching something on the 55" TV. Our full kitchen with Samsung appliances will help you cut down on dining out costs (though there's some great places on the island). The fridge has ice and the oven even has an air-fryer option!
The Primary Bedroom upstairs is fantastic as well! Get a great night’s sleep in the king size bed and enjoy access to the balcony, which overlooks part of the island's canals and a large city park. The room is a great and quiet place to work as well, with a hide-away desk that folds down to take those Zoom calls from the coast. There's also a private en suite bathroom - including double sinks, a walk-in shower, and a toilet equipped with a bidet.
Upstairs has another bedroom with a queen and a third bedroom with a bunk bed and trundle (full bed + two twins).
We have everything you need to make your stay comfortable and we can't wait to be your hosts!

Hi! My name is John Campbell. I work for a Los Angeles based IT company, but I live in San Antonio, TX. I've got three kids, a wonderful wife, a shaggy dog, and four backyard chickens (all in San Antonio!). We love to share our wonderful space in Corpus Christi with families and friends looking for some time away.

Our property in Corpus Christi is an excellent location. It's shortest drive from San Antonio or Austin to get to the beach - so cuts off time from commuting in a community that is blossoming on Padre Island. We wanted a place to get away, so we use the place constantly, but love to share it when we aren't using it. With a heated pool, electric fireplace, close to the beach, and across the street from a canal/boat ramp and a beautiful city park - it is truly a destination all year round.

Our place has all three bedrooms upstairs to provide a bit of separation from the kitchen and living spaces and the bedrooms. It's got a pool just outside the door that can be heated when it isn't warm. It's truly the perfect place any time of the year!
