About the property:
The house is located on the west side of Rapid City providing easy access to Canyon Lake Park and Meadowbrook Golf Course. It It is centrally located amongst all the attractions that western South Dakota has to offer.
What guests love about our listing:
➥We are right across the street from Canyon Lake Park which offers playgrounds, fishing, horse-shoe pits, and more.
➥Centrally located between Mt. Rushmore, Badlands National Park, Custer State Park, Wind Cave National Park, and all the other attractions in the area.
➥Professionally cleaned and sanitized between each guest
➥Free in-suite laundry
➥Off street parking
➥Easy self check-in via secure door keypad

What some guests don't love about our listing:
➥There is some potential for traffic noise. The house is located on a fairly busy street. The traffic is much lighter during the evening/night and isn't very noticeable while in the house.
Our home sleeps eights guests with three queen beds and one double/full sized sofa sleeper.
➥All beds complete with fresh sheets changed between each guest and extra blankets and pillows.
Complimentary Wi-Fi, tea, and coffee. The kitchen is stocked with plates, glasses, silverware, cooking utensils, basic cookware, and all the standard kitchen appliances.
Other details to note:
-Self check-in/keyless entry. Easily check yourself in with an electronic lock. Your code will be provided prior to your check-in time.
-Please remember that you’re staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the house with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24/7.
- Primary renter must be 21+ years old and at least one person staying at the property must be at least 21 years old.
-We are dog friendly (limit of 2) but we do not allow any other types of pets. Make sure you pick up your dog poop and dispose of it in the outside garbage bins.
- This is NOT A PARTY HOME, any reservation found to have unregistered overnight guests in the home will be escorted off the property and the booking will immediately be cancelled with no refund.
- Quiet time hours between 11 PM and 7 AM.
- No smoking of any kind (cigarette, marijuana or vaping) - a $250 fee will be charged if the property smells of smoke, or any evidence is found that smoking occurred inside the property.
- The maximum occupancy on this property is 8 people. Additional friends/family are allowed at the property during your stay but please make sure that all overnight guests are declared on the reservation.
- Additional cleaning fees may be applied if the house is left messy and unorderly. Please follow check out procedures prior to departure.
- Late check-out fee of $50 per hour will be applied if you have not vacated the property by the 10 AM check out unless prior permission is granted from the host. If check out is more than 2 hours late, you will be charged for an additional day and will be charged at our base nightly rate of $500, but this does not award you to stay for the additional day as this could impact other reservations.
- Any violation of the house rules could be grounds for immediate termination and removal from the property without a refund.

Adam is a native of the Black Hills and grew up nearby in Custer, SD. Saunta grew up in the Eastern European country of Latvia and has called Rapid City home for nearly 15 years. With family located in multiple countries, we travel frequently and can't wait to show you the same great hospitality we have experienced around the globe.

We chose this neighborhood for our short-term rental because of its fantastic location on the western edge of Rapid City, near the beautiful Canyon Lake Park. This scenic area offers a peaceful retreat while still being close to the city's attractions. Guests can enjoy the park’s picturesque lake, several ponds, and a walking, running, and biking path. With opportunities for fishing and paddleboard rentals, it’s a perfect spot for outdoor enthusiasts and families looking to relax and explore nature. Plus, the home is ideally situated for visiting all the major tourist attractions in western South Dakota, including Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park, and the Badlands, making it a perfect base for adventure.

Our short-term rental is the perfect getaway for families and their furry friends! As a dog-friendly home with a fully fenced backyard, it offers a safe and comfortable space for pets to enjoy. Plus, with Canyon Lake Park right across the street and a local dog park just a few miles away, it’s an ideal spot for outdoor adventures. Inside, guests can enjoy plenty of entertainment with a ping pong table, poker table, and a variety of board and card games, ensuring fun for everyone during their stay.
