Top floor Ski-in/Ski-out 1 br at Snowshoe Mountain Lodge w/ NEW private balcony!

Cream of the crop views at the top! Come enjoy the best view of Snowshoe mountain and Shavers Lake at Summit Vista 4848’. Located at Mountain Lodge, this top floor unit gives you everything you need to enjoy your skiing, biking, or hiking getaway! The private balcony has now been installed! Please view photos at the end of our gallery as we work to update our remaining photos that show the previous gate blocking the doors. The unit has one bedroom with a comfortable queen bed and TV. The living room can host an additional two guests with a pull-out sofa bed and a reclining massage chair to relax those muscles after a day on the slopes! Should the weather not cooperate then go back in time with a retro video game console pre-loaded with all of your familiar favorites. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to enjoy a nice home cooked meal if you choose. Towels and linens are provided. There is a coin operated laundry room on our floor outside of the unit across the hall should you need to use it. Steps away from the elevator. We are located right in front of the Ballhooter lift, directly in the Village for easy access to all shops and restaurants. So strap on your skis or board (or bike in the Summer!) and come hit the mountain with us!

PLEASE NOTE: Ongoing Renovations (May 2025)

We want to ensure our guests have all the information they need before booking. Mountain Lodge is currently undergoing significant renovations to improve the building and enhance the overall experience for future guests and owners. These renovations do not directly affect our individual condo unit, which remains fully functional, clean, and comfortable for your stay.

That said, you may notice construction activity in other parts of the building during the day (e.g., noise in common areas or limited hallway access in certain sections). We want to be upfront so you can make the best decision for your trip.

The good news: our condo continues to offer direct access to everything Snowshoe Mountain is known and loved for — amazing slopes, scenic trails, and all the mountain adventure you came for!

I'm from the Himalayas and snowshoe Feels just like home on a smaller scale, so needless to say we love this mountain. The view was great, something you have to see for yourself. Did I say This condo has just incredible views? Late fall and the weather was still very cooperative.

Disappointed

This was a very annoying stay. We were greeted by massive indoor construction inside common areas. The unit was not affected inside, but problems occurred immediately. My spouse opened the cupboard door and a cup fell out and broke! It was hot in the unit, so I went looking for the AC. There was none. Window unit promised, but all we found was a portable unit that required frozen blocks that were not to be found. (the common area was air conditioned for the workers). The refrigerator was running, but the icemaker was off--no ice in trays either. Opened the door to the balcony and turned on the ceiling fans and managed to get the temp down to 78--not great for sleeping. The final problem was the floor. My wife walked to the kitchen barefooted and stepped in the tub to find black dirt from the bottom of her feet. We were charged 100 cleaning fee and were required to take out the garbage and run the dishwasher. What do they clean (apparently not the floor)?!! The bedroom blind jammed when I raised it to open the window for ventilation, so people could see in from the hall.The view from the porch was great. Probably fine for winter use, but not suitable for summer.

Ideal location

The condo was perfect for our needs. Location is easy access to skiing and the village. Bonus was the cubbies and all the hooks in the hallway for coats, helmets, ski poles, gloves etc…. We could have used a tea pot or instant hot, but otherwise the kitchen was really well stocked. This condo is a top pick at the Mountain Lodge.

The condo was very clean, beautiful views from balcony. It was rainy the weekend we were there. It was also the last weekend of biking there at Snowshoe. There weren't too many restaurants open at the The Village, but there was no way of knowing otherwise. I'd recommend you bring some dinners to cook yourself. The only recommendation I'd have for the condo is a black out curtain for the bedroom window, the room stays a little to lit up from the lighted hallway outside the bedroom window. The bedroom also stays a little warm, even with the fan on and leaving the window open in the living room. It's design flaws, not an issue that can necessarily be helped by the owners of the property. Overall, we had a great little getaway, my husband and I!

Very nice until and view

We had a great stay. The place had a beautiful view and was freshly decorated. The only issue I had was when I pulled the sheets down I saw hairs on the sheets and pillow case. I also found almonds from the people before us on the floor under the kitchen counter. Other than that it was a great stay. Thank you

Wonderful Stay

We have stayed at the Mountain Lodge several times and this has been our favorite room thus far. The view is beautiful and the renovations nice. I really liked the addition of the bar in the kitchen area. Many rooms have tables across the room and this bar made preparing meals and eating much easier. The hosts were also very communicative and responded quickly to all inquiries. My only complaint would be the WiFi, we had trouble connecting while in the room, but only on certain devices. All in all we had a great time and will definitely look to see if this room is available for future trips to Snowshoe. Can’t beat the location of Mountain Lodge!
