Serenity is a perfect description for the feeling evoked by the treetop view over a babbling brook from the living room and walkout deck. Great communication with host, accommodating, and puts the effort in to ensure your stay is top-notch. Great location on Sugar Mtn!

Great location for skiing

Very convenient location for skiers. Parking is a little tight during high occupancy times, but after all it is in the mountains. Would stay there again for sure.

Weekend in the Mountains

Very nice place. Great location. Quiet, comfortable. (You do need to be a mountain goat to get to the loft!) We enjoyed it.

One of the best condos I have rented. Loved the convenience of the location, quick to get out to the main road. Condo especially clean, quiet and very relaxing. Would definitely return!

The property was very cute and decorated for fall! Everything was just as described. Perfect stay for short weekend for us. Quiet but very convenient location. The queen bed was so comfortable and cozy. We hope to be back soon!

Very clean and homie. Mattress was a bit too hard for restful sleeping but that’s the only downfall.

Wouldn’t stay there again

Owner did provide a cooling tower as the condo has no air conditioning and with climate change even the mountains get warm. Also, the condo has no washer/dryer on site. Finally, we had to deal with construction workers repairing a water break in the next door condo up to 7:00 PM every night we were there, I told the owner but nothing was done to at least have them stop working at a reasonable time.

Thank you for your feedback.. As a “Premier” host I take pride in providing an enjoyable stay for all guests and the accuracy of Serenity’s listing which stipulates no A/C & washer/dryer. Upon your arrival I graciously offered an upgrade to another unit which was declined and then I purchased a cooling tower to alleviate your concerns etc.. As for neighbors, workers, and outside influences…. These are issues beyond my control and unfairly rated in this review. Not to mention, workers were only present 4dys of your 20dy stay.. not the entire time as you stated. Thank you.

Better than advertised

I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. It had everything listed as well as several little extra amenities that really gave it an extra touch, like hot chocolate K-Cups. The only way we could have been in a better location is if we were at the actual front door of the ski lodge, it’s that close. I geared up and walked down for the 9am open session, walked back for lunch, and was back on the slopes 5 minutes after I finished lunch. It was awesome. It snowed several inches while we were there and I was a little concerned about getting home, but they had snow plows going several times in the evening and morning and our trip home was super smooth. 100% would stay again- in fact I’m actually going to see about booking this property again for summer to do some downhill mountain bike trails as Sugar.

Honestly the best location to everything High Country is known for! Hiking, festivals, Downtown Banner Elk, Blowing Rock and so much more..
The condominium is walking distance to Sugar Mountain Golf Club, tennis, and ever popular ski lifts. The property is nestled in the trees and a bubbling river runs along the back. A constant "zen like" atmosphere is what keeps visitors returning. Hope you decide to book a visit!
