This home is absolutely beautiful! VERY well stocked kitchen. Huge open floor plan. Our group was very comfortable and felt like it was perfect. Also, the location on Melrose Bay was great for swimming paddleboarding given the entire cove is no wake. Dock has a great spot to tie off boats. Literally zero complaints!

Great place for family and friens.

Have stayed twice for gator football long weekend. Can grille/cook on premises or go to a few nearby restaurants. Host is very accomodating. Highly recommend. Would stay again.

Beautiful Lake Home

We highly recommend staying here! The house is beautifully decorated, has everything you would need! Wonderful view of the lake which is quiet and relaxing. The home is surrounded by flowers and a relaxing garden with sweet smelling aroma and butterfly’s. Larry is a wonderful owner. We enjoyed our stay.

Property was great and the lake was better than we expected, wish we brought swim suits. Plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the view. Good for three couples as long as twin beds are good for one of them. Drive into Gainesville isn’t bad at all, straight shot.

Great Get Away in Melrose

We enjoyed our weekend stay in Melrose. Information about this house was accurate. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and everything worked perfectly. We were in town for a wedding and appreciated having a quiet place to sleep and spend the weekend. We highly recommend this Vrbo home. Thank you Larry.

Wonderful stay in Melrose! I’ve been booking on VRBO for several years. I have stayed at many locations from Florida to Kentucky and this listing was the absolute cleanest rental yet. Great quiet location on beautiful Santa Fe Lake. Husband and I went for a long anniversary weekend to “get away from it all” neighborhood was quiet, home was well stocked , grill was perfect for a quiet anniversary dinner and the dock was just a bonus, we even got a perfect little orange off the orange tree in the back yard and it was delicious ! Check in and check out was seamless ! I highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a little peace from hustle and bustle of life . I promise if you’re looking for a clean rental take it from a clean freak this is the one ! look no further! Great job! Will definitely rent again!

Tennessee vs Florida Football Game Weekend

We stayed at this location, just 30 minutes from University of Florida, to go to the football game. Aside from losing, the home, location and weekend were perfect. Home had everything we needed. Everyone loved visiting on the pier in the evenings.

Just What We Needed

The lovely home looked just the way the online photos portrayed. It was extra helpful to have the spacious laundry room and garage available to use. We needed an open-floor plan for family suppers, and this property served that need well. The host was accessible and easy to communicate with. We would choose to stay at this property again.

Cousin Get Together

Three couples stayed at the property. The property was very clean. Plenty of linens. We did not cook at the property but what little we did there was no lack of essentials. Beautiful view from the awesome screen porch and deck. Great dock! My only suggestion would be to have a standard bed in one of the guest rooms instead of bunk beds in both rooms. It was a little difficult for an adult to climb on the top bunk.
