The property is great! Plenty of space for the kids to play and easy walking distance to the beach! Owner answered quickly to all questions! Would recommend to anymore!

Great little stay!

Enjoyed a quick trip to take the kids on the Polar Express at the Strand and stayed here. The location was easy and convenient. The parents walked to the local neighborhood bar just down the street, which had a relaxed vibe and was great! A little gem for sure. Would stay here again. No issues.

Great time

This house was like being from home. We had the best time. Everything we needed was there. We would stay here again. There was some construction on the street in front of the house but there was no problems getting in or out of the home.

We absolutely loved the location!!. Close enough to the beach and not too far from the Strand. Property was well put together and well kept. I will always look to see if this place is available when heading to Galveston to stay. The property manager stayed in touch throughout my stay and was quick to respond to questions. I have no complaints . Very happy with my stay here 🙂

For our 4-day stay, i would say the property was very clean and welcoming. There are some small blemishes within some of the furnishings but the other interior designs of the house such as the kitchen and showers overshadow the blemishes. There was 7 of us and there was adequate space. There's even an extra space that could be treated as a bedroom. The distance to the ocean was a plus as it was in walking distance as described. The host was very responsive. All communication was answered quickly. The location of the property was a plus, with adequate parking. Overall, we all enjoyed the property and for the price, we would definitely recommend this property to others and we would definately stay there again!

Galveston by the Sea

NaTarrio is incredible. He was very accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions. He is also flexible with check-in and check-out times, which was extremely helpful. The space was very clean and had all of the necessities for a few night stay. The ramp was nice and the wide doors we accommodating for a wheelchair.

Needs to have hand rails in at least one shower to be accessible, the ramp is to steep for wheelchair. The house was lovely other that that. thank-you

Nice new listing with lots of potential

This is a new listing so we took our chances booking it without any reviews. It’s a nicely renovated house in an area that is just OK which is typical for most rentals on the island (one nice house then a run down one next door then another nice house, etc). The front rooms (queen rooms) are a bit noisy. There was a lot of cars going by at night with loud music and there is construction taking place on the street just a few houses away (as of 10/2 and out of the sellers control). The single queen room is right next to the AC unit outside which is a bit noisy when it turns in and off. The house is nicely decorated, the kitchen cabinets could be updated though. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with. The house still needs some work to be a 5 start rental but hopefully the owner will take some of our feedback and co to ie to improve the place. As long as you have the proper expectations when booking this rental then you will be fine. Would be great for two families or a group of friends!

Filthy sheets, filthy kitchen, clogged shower drain and dishonest owner.

It was our family's 6th consecutive year visiting Galveston for my Mother's Bday and this was by far the worst of the rentals. Upon entering, we noticed crumbs on the kitchen counter. With closer inspection, the entire counter was caked with food residue and sticky substances. We took a video to document the dirt and grime that we wiped of the countertop. Next, we took a shower and the water would not drain so that after a minute we were standing in a pool of dirty water. We thought that must be it, that is, until we pulled back the comforter on one of the beds and found yellow and brown stains on the white sheets. They appeared to not have been cleaned at all. There were spray marks as if they attempted to spot clean but never laundered the sheets. There was also makeup residue and hair on the sheets. So, we called the number provided and sent all the pictures and videos. The man said he would refund the cleaning fee, but after one week, nothing showed up in my cc account. We called and text him again; he answered the phone but acted as if he could not hear us. We called back and he did not answer. So, we text and never received a reply. Thus, this negative but very truthful review. Please don't condone this practice by renting this place.

We have a 5 Star average rating as well as a 5 Star cleaning rating. We understand that cleanliness and safety are the number 1 priority of our guest. So our team ensures the home is delivered at the highest standard. This is a false review. We communicated with this guest through out the stay including a follow up check after day 1. There were never any issues reported. It was not until after check out we received a call after check out stating the place was not clean and requesting a cleaning fee refund. Videos was sent showing crumbs on the counter top and hair on the sheets but this was after they had been in the property several days. We felt like this was deliberate attempt game the system to received further discounts so we did not honor a refund and we would not recommend hosting Jerel and guest.
