Comfortable place to stay after a long day of work. The living room AC had a hard time staying cool but other than that it was a very comfortable place to stay.

It’s so nice we’ve stayed here twice

Back in a town for another wedding and we knew exactly where to go. Karen has everything ready and waiting. Easy access and perfect location for South Suburbs.

Perfect quick trip stay

Came in to town for a weekend wedding and this was perfect spot. A nice welcome package of snacks even greeted us on arrival.

The house has open space for up to 4 people, was clean and has comfortable beds. The additional comfort stuff was very nice.

In town for a wedding

Pictures are accurate, however the home could use a deep clean and updating. Host allowed an early check-in to accommodate us and very responsive. Their were a lot of air fresheners which is not my favorite as the smell was overpowering. She had a nice snack box and waters available at check-in.

Great Home Away From Home

Everything about the property was perfect especially the location! It was a quick drive into the city and only a few miles away from the ampitheater. The house was clean and contact with the owners was quick and easy. Thank you for sharing your home!

The house is very deceiving from the pictures. The pictures make the house look beautiful, but when you get inside you’ll learn quick how gross and thrown together it looks. The house needs to be professionally cleaned. Also, we didn’t even stay the full booking of our trip because a mouse was in the house. The owners acted clueless about it being a mouse in the house but had multiple mouse traps ! The area was nice and quiet ! That was a plus , but I’d definitely never book this house or use Vrbo again. This was my first and last time.

Thanksgiving Host from out of town

The property was just what I needed and the description of the property is accurate. I travel with family going to spend the holiday with family and I do all the cooking. Therefore, I was looking for a nice kitchen and this property did not disappoint. Thank you Karen and Phillip for renting to us. I hope to return next year.

We stayed here for lollapalooza and everything was great, only small issues were noise from being located near the hospital and issues with the shower knob being loose.

Wonderful from start to finish

From pre-stay communication to check out, our stay was seamless. The host thought of everything and our stay was perfect. There were so many nice extras like snacks and restaurant recommendations. The beds were definitely comfortable and the entire place was very clean. Thank you so much for making our trip comfortable and effortless.

Great location...responsive owners!

Beautiful, great location...amazingly quiet despite being close to a hospital. Owners are super nice, we had a cold snap and the car stopped running. The OWNER came to help us. Very tasteful. You can't go wrong!

Beautiful home and sweet host

The pictures don’t do this place justice. It was clean and smelled amazing. Karen and Philip even had a snack basket and water for me to enjoy. The home was bigger than I imagined. Nice decor and great to book to getaway.

Perfect for what we needed

It was a nice little place and got the job done for what we needed. Some repairs needed to be done while we were there and the house was very warm when we got there. The window unit AC eventually got it cooled but it took a while. Nice snack basket let for us and could tell the owner took care to make guests feel at home. All in all we would return

Festival Stay

We needed a place that would accept under 21. This house was very clean when we arrived, and the host left detailed instructions in a folder. Only complaint is that it’s across the street from a hospital, so you may hear some sirens. I bought some trusty earplugs that blocked the sound out though. Overall, if you need a place to stay, I HIGHLY recommend this house!

Nice and basic

The hosts were great. I really appreciated being contacted in advance for the check in process, and they left a lovely welcome basket with snacks for us which we enjoyed. The house is located on a busy road next to the hospital so light sleepers might need earplugs, but we slept well. It is an older house and could use a little TLC… The kitchen floor was not cleaned prior to our arrival and little things like bedroom fan blades and baseboards need to be cleaned as well but the house was not cluttered and is very comfortable. It was nice to be provided with bottled water as the house water has a lot of minerals (hard water). There is no dishwasher so if you leave the dishes to air dry, there will be water spots all over but if you dry after washing, they are fine. We would have enjoyed the backyard more if there were chairs or a patio set, but the hosts mentioned that it is still winter so they haven’t brought them out yet. There is a nice grassy area which would be perfect for family BBQs with the nicer weather.
