We respectfully disagree with several statements in this review and would like to provide additional context for future guests. Our community had just experienced a tornado days before this stay, resulting in widespread internet and intermittent power outages. Although these outages were beyond our control, we kept the guest informed, apologized for the inconvenience, and offered compensation for the internet interruption. The guest initially reported seeing a spider in the bathroom. We apologized, offered to reimburse the cost of spider spray, and asked that a receipt be provided, which we never received. Based on that conversation, we understood the issue had been resolved. The following morning, when additional concerns were raised, we immediately offered to schedule our cleaning team. Unfortunately, the available time did not work with the guest’s plans. We maintain time-stamped cleaning and inspection photos before every guest’s arrival, confirming the home was cleaned and prepared prior to check-in. One valid concern was discoloration of the tub caulking due to hard water, and that repair has been scheduled. The living room light was fully operational and simply required the wall switch to be turned on. Our long history of positive guest reviews reflects our commitment to providing a clean, well-maintained home and responsive customer service.
