Bright and beautiful home on the Delaware Bay

Come join us for a trip of rest and relaxation in our beautiful home located on the Delaware Bay. Our house is on a secluded beach with less than 50 houses nearby. Enjoy breathtaking views and listen to the waves as you soak up the sun on our deck. The deck is also the perfect place for bird watching or fishing. Prepare meals using our kitchen stocked with new cookware and utensils or our Weber BBQ grill located in the enclosed porch area. Come unplug and unwind in peace and serenity.
The space
Waterfront location directly on the Delaware Bay.

After parking in your private space in front of the house, you will enter the enclosed porch area. The porch is equipped with a Weber grill and a table for dining which seats four guests. When you enter the house you will be greeted by an open space that is filled with lots of natural light. Enjoy a meal at the dining room table or sit in the stools at the bar off the kitchen. Open the sliding doors and step onto the deck for an unforgettable view of the Delaware Bay. The first floor also has a full bathroom with a shower.

The second floor is equipped with three bedrooms and has four beds. The first room has a daybed and beautiful views of the bay. The
master bedroom has the best view in the house. Enjoy waking up in a lush king size bed and looking out over the bay. The third bedroom has two twin beds and a direct connection to the second floor bathroom. This bathroom has a smaller bathtub that is perfect for young children. A washer and dryer can also be found on the second floor between the bathroom and master bedroom.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire house, except for the closet in the living room.
Other things to note
Important things to know:

-The house is located in a very secluded area.
-The house is not stocked with food and the closest grocery store is about a half hour away. It is recommended to stock up on any food/drinks before coming to the house.
-The house runs on a septic tank and well water. Please be mindful of your water usage.

We had a lovely stay. We liked being away from everything. The house accommodated us nicely. James was easy to communicate with and always responded within a few hours sometimes less. I would’ve liked more of a beach, but it didn’t get in the way of us having a great stay.

Can’t say enough about how wonderful this home is for a place to sit, enjoy the water and family. Clean, bright, right on the water, lulls you to sleep, fishing off the dock. Love everything about this home and will be back! Didn’t want to leave! First trip with our 13 yr old dachshund, and she couldn’t have loved it more. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Waterfront beach house

The property offers an exceptional experience. It features a stunning residence situated directly on the tranquil ocean, complemented by a variety of recreational activities, including bowling, miniature golf, and access to exquisite dining establishments. The nocturnal ambiance is enhanced by the moon's illumination upon the ocean's surface. I would recommend this establishment to families and married couples, regardless of whether they have children.

Truly a house on the water

There is no beach in front of the house, and about 10’ of the sand is exposed only at low tides. The rest of the time there is none, and the tide runs all the way under the house, which sits on posts. It is built on a tidal plain, and during our four days’ stay the unpaved road was completely flooded each night to a depth of about 10”, making it impassable for any but high-clearance vehicles. If you plan to go out anywhere at night, you must be sure you are back before the main road and the neighborhood are all under water. None of this was disclosed in the listing. We had to go elsewhere to enjoy a beach, and would not have booked here if we knew any of this. The locals all confirmed that this is typical for that area.

Great host and great spot!

You don't go to this home for a crowded beach or busy bay experience, you go for the quiet. Everything you need is provided, just bring food, ice and a desire for an on the water view. You will need to plan for your stay as the closest store is about 15 or 20 minutes away, but so are the crowds. We saw sea turtles, deer, turkeys, egrets and fell asleep to the gentle sound of waves every night. James is a great host and everything was seamless. We'll be back! Highly recommend!

beautiful home and views

we enjoyed the beautiful waterfront views and sunsets. house was just as advertised, great spot and very clean our only complaint was the bed in primary bedroom was pretty uncomfortable. we would rent again if that was replaced.

Wonderful

Our stay was wonderful, we enjoyed the beach between tides. Fished, went crabbing, searched for shells, and even saw played with a turtle! A secluded location that brought us the R&R we needed! Thank you!

Gorgeous House on the Bay

Wonderful weeklong beach getaway! House was as listed, clean, all necessary amenities, and a wonderful view. Property owner was responsive to questions, house was clean and remote. We were able to play on the beach a few hours a day at low tide and drive to other destinations to explore nearby (within an hour drive) destinations. A great family getaway!!

fun stay despite the rainy weather

We stayed during three very rainy days and nights! We were amazed at the water as it crashed into the pilings. The house was cozy and comfortable with everything we could have wanted for our stay. We stepped onto the deck between the raindrops and imagine it would have been wonderful to sit and eat and relax out there. So much fun watching the birds soar past.

Relaxing Beach Vacation

My family and I loved this years beach trip. The house was perfect for our family of 5. We enjoyed riding our bikes on the back roads, kayaking in the marsh, fishing and floating on tubes just steps from the house. I really hope to come back next year!

The perfect getaway

This house is a little piece of paradise!! The views are spectacular and the area is so secluded that it's peaceful. Just a place to get away from all the stress in life. We absolutely loved it!!!!! The house is very clean and stocked with everything you need except food and drinks. James was in communication with us the whole time with any questions we had. He was wonderful and we will be booking again in the near future. We can't wait actually. We hope to bring you some more customers but just a few because this is out little gem now!! Wow!!! Best Ocean Views Ever

I’ve stay in some beautiful properties with VRBO, but this one takes the cake! The best yet. If you like being on the beach. You step out the back door and you feel like ur on the promenade of a cruise ship. House is immaculate and stacked with everything you need. 5 stars on this one!

Gorgeous View, Perfect Location

My spouse and I stayed here with my parents to be closer to family in South Jersey for Thanksgiving week and were so thankful we did. Lovely house on the water, easy to get to, plenty of sleeping spaces and phenomenal ocean view! Would definitely book again and could see this house being perfect for summer stays as well as winter!

SPECTACULAR GANDY'S BEACH

The house was wonderful! Clean and nicely decorated. When we walked in the dining table was tastefully set and welcoming. All aspects of this cottage were absolutely unbeatable. And the location was perfect as we watched ships sailing up and down the bay and enjoyed spectacular sunsets over the water. We are looking forward to returning next year.
