Water Front Inicio del Océano / Bay

Gran casa en la bahía de Delaware el lado NJ. La casa está en un pájaro preservar lo que hay un montón de vida salvaje alrededor. A principios del verano de los cangrejos de herradura vienen poner sus huevos que atrae a muchos pájaros y peces diferentes. Las tortugas también vienen y ponen sus huevos en la propiedad a principios de julio. Hay una de 100 pies de muelle de pesca parte de la casa y es ideal para el pescador con una estación de limpieza. La casa tiene una cocina completa, aire acondicionado, calor, lavadora y secadora, ducha al aire libre. La ubicación también es buena. 25 minutos a Avalon o 25 minutos a Cape May.

My husband and I, along with my father, had a wonderful time. Alex was the most hospitable host we ever had. Sunset on the deck was breathtaking. I felt like I was inside a watercolor snow globe.

The location of the house is ideal! We loved being on the water! House was nicely equipped and charming. The 4th bedroom is more a nook than a room but it worked out well.

The property is overall OK, and we had a great time.Few things to consider:1. The water of the bay are brackish and are not suitable for swimming (not related directly to the property but is still and important consideration)2. The house itself is relatively old, and some areas were very dustyOther than that, we had a great time and the owner was very responsive and helpful.

- The owner's house is right next door. Not that we were doing anything bad, but it felt like we were being watched. He came by twice during our 3-day stay.- the owner let us know you could go crabbing in the back. We did not do it, but would have been very cool- We really enjoyed the fire pit- Make sure to bring essentials because it will not be available at the property. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dishwasher pods, lighter for firepit, etc. - This property is not great if you have dogs. The 1st floor, which is where dogs are allowed, is extremely slippery. Our dog, who unfortunately has already been having knee issues, felt significantly worse following the stay.

Family of 6 stayed here. Plenty of room. We had adventures fishing and crabbing. The pier truly is a thing of beauty. My husband and I had our morning coffee on the docks and as soon as our 11 year old woke up, he wanted to fish. We took 3 days and went into different beach towns. Our favorite was cape may but we loved coming back to this house. Beach closeby was an activity to do for the younger kids. Truly a fantastic time. Our son already asked to come back and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Its remote which we love. Bring board games, food and wine.

Wonderful!

New favorite vacation spot! Beautiful. 2 of 4 mornings a dolphin pod swam right by the dock. I fell in love with all the turtles and enjoyed the osprey. Sunrise and sunset are gorgeous. The drive to Wildwood and Cape May were easy enough. The house is great. Clean, plenty of space. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us, Alex!

An amazing getaway!

We had an amazing stay at this waterfront property over the weekend and absolutely loved it. The views were stunning from sunrise to sunset, and the private dock made it feel like our own little escape. The space was peaceful, well-kept, and had that perfect blend of rustic charm and coastal relaxation. Whether we were lounging on the deck, walking along the shell-lined shore, or just enjoying the calm breeze off the water, it was exactly the getaway we needed. We’re already talking about coming back.

Wish we could stay longer. Facing the water, turn right for a beautiful sunset and turn left for a beautiful sunrise. The beach is one house away and our dog enjoyed running on the beach and exploring the sandbars. A fifteen-minute walk to the Eastpoint lighthouse. We did a hike a short drive away to Thompson's Beach. Apparently, October is a great time for catching crabs. Also enjoyed the firepit and having smores.

Beautiful and remote location

Our extended family of 6 and our 2 large dogs had a nice, relaxing vacation. We enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning from the deck and being able to sit by a fire in the evenings after watching the sunset just listening to the water. We went for walks on the small beach area, went kayaking, and took day trips to both Cape May and Stone Harbor. We brought our own blankets and bedding, so I cannot say if there was an adequate supply, but otherwise the house had basically all that was needed. Alex was responsive to all our inquiries and even allowed us to check in earlier than the set time which was greatly appreciated. The only downside was that he was also at the property both weekends of our stay which for a family of introverts was awkward. Overall, we had a great vacation and enjoyed this remote location. Thank you, Alex, for opening your home to our family.

Another Terrific Stay

We love the house. It's very clean and comfortable, and the property can't be beat. Alex, the property owner, is as good as they get. The area is terrific and there's plenty to do if you're into outdoor activities like crabbing, fishing and bird watching. I wish we could stay there and never leave. 5/5 stars.

Peaceful Escape

The property is located in a quiet, remote area and is perfect for relaxation and fishing on the dock. We caught a lot of Sand Sharks and crabs throughout the week. It was a nice time.

Off the Grid....which is exactly what I wanted...

Secluded location just down the road from the historic East Point Light House which is right on the water and more with a 100 foot pier that takes you right out over the Bay. You have fishing & crabbing just steps out the back sliding door......Or just relax with a frozen Margarita with a million dollar view of the water. Loved the place and hope to return again next year...Kevin Devaney

Great Getaway Spot

The house is perfectly situated in a quiet location and within a 30-40 driving distance to the Jersey shore beaches. The accommodations were comfortable and the access to the bay was perfect for fishing, crabbing and kayaking. The host was very communicative and helpful. Definitely recommend for a family getaway!

Wonderful waterfront property

Our family ranged from 75 to 8 years old and everyone agreed that this vacation was great. The house is older and somewhat rustic and a bit funky, but in a good way. As for neighborhood, the location is rural and one of about a dozen waterfront homes. All of the neighbors we met were friendly and helpful. Our animal neighbors were turtles, rabbits, and Ospreys we constantly watched catching fish and returning to their nests with food. Overall, it was very comfortable, accomodating, and relaxing. The value of having our own private fishing and crabbing pier cannot be overstated. We caught sharks, stingrays, crabs, eels, and skates. Two crab traps were provided which our grandsons put to great use. If you're a sit-by-the-pool resort person, this may not be for you. But if you don't mind having the city bustle a half hour drive away and you love low tide walks on isolated beaches amid teeming nature, this could be your place. Thanks, Alex, for your help and generosity. We will be back.

Family 2024 Short Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. Very quiet, very relaxing, great location. Enjoyed catching up with family and really enjoyed our walks on the beach area once the tide was very low. The horseshoe crabs were every where. We even returned a lot back to the water. Great trip!!
